Old Times

An hour later she wakes up again, she's lying on a bed, she doesn't remember seeing this room, but she notices that she's still in the Becker's Mansion, without thinking too much something comes into her head, it seems that everything Justin said starts repeating itself in her mind, again and again, she puts her hand on her head trying to calm down, she seems very sad and disappointed, she thinks:

( Why is this happening to me? Everything was fine this morning, because everything seems different now, they didn't want to tell me, because they were trying to spare me from knowing that I'd been forgotten, or I'd been left out and could be a future problem for them, my head hurts, my heart feels like it's going to burst out of my mouth, I can't give up).

Ana gets out of bed, and realizes that the Becker's are gathered in the living room, she peeks down the stairs, Justin is with his parents talking sitting in the living room, she doesn't see Luke with them, she decides to go to Luke's room, she needs to be sure about him really having forgotten about her, she enters his room, but he is no longer lying in bed, she notices a notebook on his bedside table, this is the notebook that accompanies Luke, yes there may be some information about her, she looks around to see if no one appears, and takes the notebook and begins to leaf through it without stopping:

"Yes, there must be some information about me, it's not possible that he's forgotten me."

But to Ana's surprise, there's nothing written in it, not even in the student council election papers, except for a single note, which reads:

"Stay away from Ana "X"

And a very large "X" scribbled repeatedly on the sheet.

Ana feels another twinge in her chest, her throat seems to dry up, her eyes seem to be watering, she wants to cry, but she is interrupted, Luke was in the shower and is wearing a bathrobe, he pulls the notebook out of Ana's hands, and pushes her, she ends up falling on her bed, Ana looks at Luke and notices that he has already removed the bandage on his head, she seems perfectly healed and without any more damage to her face, her mouth piercing has been removed, he looks at her very seriously and says:

"Why are you in my room and going through my things? I don't want strangers in my room, get out now!"

Ana tries to say something, but she seems to be in shock, she can't say anything, she tries to take a deep breath, and say what she feels:

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, Luke, listen to me, I'm not a stranger, you know me, we're on the same team...and me"

Luke leans over Ana on the bed and whispers in her ear:

"I don't know you, and I'd rather not, I've made myself clear now!"

He doesn't even give Ana time to get up, he pulls her by the arm, lifting her out of bed, and pushes her out of her room, slamming the door."

The adults hear the door slam, Justin runs to check what's going on, when he goes upstairs, and finds Ana sitting on the floor, she doesn't even seem to have the strength to get up, she's holding herself back, but she can't hold back her tears, Justin goes over to her and tries to calm her down:

"Ana, don't be like this, I didn't want you to go through this, I really wanted to find the best moment to tell you about it, come on I'll take you home, this will pass, I promise you."

He helps Ana up, he takes her backpack from the guest room, Ana refuses to let him take her home, she prefers to go alone, she wipes her tears, and runs downstairs, she just bows her head greeting Mr. and Mrs. Becker who are in the living room, and goes out the door, Mr. Han looks at Justin, already wondering what could have happened, and asks him to go with her and calm her down.

Ana quickly goes out of the door, gasps for air, trying to hold back her tears, which continue to flow, her school shirt is already wet, Justin asks her to wait, but she refuses him again and says:

"I'm sorry, leave me alone, I wish I hadn't met you!"
