Chapter 2- A Misunderstanding - part 1
Luke promptly bends down to help but Ana notices that it's the slacker boy, so she interrupts him:
"It had to be you, no need, I'll get it myself."
Luke picks up some of the flyers, and notices that it's about the Student Council election.
(Oh, it's about the election...President- Scoot, blah, it had to be him, Vice President is Caroline and Ana Treasurer? Who's Ana? )
He nudges Justin, who is coming up behind him, and asks:
"Justin, you're on Scoot's electoral slate... but can you tell me who Ana is?"
Ana then listens, takes a deep breath and without thinking twice she replies:
"I.... am Ana."
She then pulls out the leaflets in Luke's hand, but keeps her head down, without looking directly at him.
Luke looks surprised, not understanding anything.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know..."
"Of course, you don't know about school matters, because you're busy abusing the students and making them your employees."
Luke looks a little annoyed already, as she's turning to leave, he hears what Ana has said, he turns back to Ana who is on her back finishing collecting the flyers, he then decides to retort:
"Excuse me, what do you mean? What are you talking about? I don't think you know who I am..."
Ana interrupts him:
"Ah, typical privileged playboy phrase..."don't you know who you're talking to?"
Luke is struck by the boldness of her words:
"What? That's not what I meant..."
Ana interrupts him again without letting him finish his sentence, she puts the flyers in her backpack and decides to end the conversation.
"Spare me your excuses, I don't want to hear them anymore."
Ana puts the flyers in her backpack and walks away annoyed. While Luke stands there not understanding anything, he looks at Justin and says:
"What the hell was that?".
Justin laughs, also without understanding, and prefers not to add fuel to the fire, so he just says:
"I don't think she liked us very much, in short, let's go home, we have to train, Dad's going to work hard today, and we're already late!"
Luke walks home, talking to himself, he's not used to being treated like this, except with Scoot, who always does everything to annoy him, but he's used to it.
"Wow, she didn't even let me finish talking...I still, I went to help her...how angry, really."
Justin just listens to him talking to himself, but in fact the two of them, even though they are the Headmaster's children, never take advantage of the situation, they weren't brought up to do so, Grandpa Han always brought them up to be helpful, honest, and never to use their social position to take advantage of someone, and always to value honesty, and disapproves of any kind of behavior that goes against this. Although Luke agrees with his father's upbringing, he tends to be a bit more rebellious and gets angry more easily, which makes him more aggressive when he needs to be. Justin is calmer in parts, as he prefers to sort things out before Luke does, that's why they have an agreement that all the problems that happen in the Student Guild are passed on to Justin first, so that he can analyze them more calmly, and only pass on the most urgent and important problems to Luke, Justin is exactly like a shield for Luke, Justin only gets into a fight if there is no other alternative.
When the two of them are near the abandoned lot, they come across a group of boys from another school, who seem to already know each other, but the meeting is not at all friendly. Luke takes off his uniform blazer and loosens his tie, Justin does the same, in which case there's no talking because there are too many of them, and they promptly end up fighting, punching on one side, punching on the other, But Luke and Justin stand firm and strong, both with a few bruises. Meanwhile Ana is sitting on the other side of the field writing in her notebook, when she hears a noise of people shouting and it seems to be a fight, he's already lost his concentration so he decides to go and see what's going on and whispers to himself:
"How can it be, these guys only know how to solve things by fighting...in short, I'm going to stay here and hide...before...wait..."
She spots and recognizes the two boys, it's Luke and Justin.
"Wow, it had to be those two...I knew they weren't good, I'll take pictures as proof."
She promptly grabs her digital camera from her backpack and takes some pictures, then decides to record a video of the fight, when she feels someone poking her back, she turns around and notices that it's Scoot.
"Scoot, what are you doing here? Oh, I forgot I met you here for the first time..."
"Hi Ana, I was passing by as usual, and I heard people shouting."
"Oh, you heard me too, they're all losers, and it's the slacker kids, it had to be them!"
Scoot makes a face as if he's surprised that a fight is going on, then says:
"It's really them, Ana, you'd better get out of here and go home, it's safer."
Ana ponders whether she should go or not, but Scoot is standing there watching the fight, when she looks at the group fighting again, and notices that one of the boys has picked up a large piece of wood, and is running at Luke, Ana realizes that Luke has a lot of guys on him, she doesn't think twice, she quickly grabs her lighter from her backpack, and since it's the element she has a little more control over, she manipulates the fire in her hands and makes the log catch fire, and the boy is startled and ends up dropping the log in fright.
"Ouch, how did that catch fire out of nowhere?!"
