Chapter 17- Ditching training day -Part 3

Ana's eyes widen and she turns red with embarrassment:

"What? Oh, come on, let's go into the store, shall we?"

Luke is amused by the situation he's caused, he knows she's embarrassed, but honestly he wouldn't think it was a bad thing if she really wanted to see it, Ana quickly goes into the store trying to disguise it, pretending not to have heard, she asks the sales assistant to take a closer look at the earring, it's even prettier looking up close, but it doesn't look that cheap, she can only spend 500.00 on her credit card a month, her mother keeps track so she would know where and with what she spent it, Luke realizes that she's thinking too much, so he decides to buy, Ana stops him at first, but he asks the saleswoman to separate them and wrap them for a gift, the saleswoman takes advantage and offers a necklace that is a Moon and a Sun, and they both separate so they can each keep a pendant, it's really beautiful Ana is delighted, but it's a "Couple" item, Ana already decides to cut the saleswoman's conversation:

"Err...no ma'am, we're not a couple, I'll pay him back for this earring" hehe

Luke makes a face as if he's sad, and decides to joke about the situation again:

"Oh, she's got a boyfriend, it's a shame he's so far away."

The saleswoman understands the situation, as soon as she looks at Luke's sad face, she deduces that it's unrequited love, a friendzone, Ana looks at Luke crookedly, but remembers that she's forgotten about her "fake boyfriend" story again, after all she's already strolling around the mall, until then with the boy she misjudged a few days ago, and Luke being nice like that isn't helping her much to be able to sustain her "omission of the truth" in the future. The saleswoman hands Luke the gift bag, and he hands it to Ana and says:

"I don't want you to pay me anything in return, just take it, it's just a souvenir of when you killed your training day...WITH ME."

Ana turns red with embarrassment, and is very embarrassed, he was very specific with that "with me", she takes the bag and thanks him, at this point she can't even make eye contact with him, she keeps her head down a little, she looks at her watch, it's been a little over 1:30 hours, but she still doesn't feel like going home, and she doesn't know how to tell Luke, he soon notices that she wants to say something, but is holding back, he breaks the silence:

"You don't want to go home yet?"

Ana shakes her head in the negative, that she doesn't want to go home yet, Luke then decides to go with Ana to watch a movie at the mall, so time would pass, and the time would come close to the end of their training, so they decide to watch the movie "City of Angels", yes it seems a bit ironic a half demon watching a movie about angels and discovering that it is a fantasy movie; romance, a little more than 2 hours pass, Ana was supposed to feel better, but the movie is really a little too sad, it's almost impossible not to get emotional, and shed a few drops of tears, Luke for a moment regrets having let Ana choose the movie, but because she was sad again, and all the care he took throughout the day to calm her down, but still not knowing the reason for her sadness, Ana reassures him after all it was an excellent movie, which makes her think for a moment:

(That was a bit ironic, but I only realized now that I made a half-demon watch a movie about Anios, but honestly, is it possible that this half-demon here, could be as bad as they say a demon is?)

Ana stares at Luke for a few minutes as she is lost in her thoughts. Luke notices that Ana is staring at him, so he decides to do the same, but she seems so far away in her thoughts, Luke immediately imagines that she must have some curiosity and some question to ask:

"Psst, what do you want to ask? Your boyfriend will be jealous if he sees you looking at me like that."

Ana returns from the world of the moon, and again caught off guard, she asks:

"Luke, do you have wings?"

Luke is surprised by the question, but since the movie was about angels, he figures that must be where the curiosity came from, so he explains:

"I only have a few physical changes when I awaken my demon side, but I don't have wings, because I'm half human-half demon, only some demons have them and some of them are the original demons, in this case our descendants, I'm sorry, but I won't be able to save you using 'wings.

Ana makes a sign that she understands what he's saying, he knows some demons only from books, she doesn't remember seeing a demon up close, the level 5 demons, the originals, have the ability to camouflage themselves, being able to change their physical form, so their descendants can also take advantage of this camouflage.

Ana is so distracted by the conversation that she doesn't notice that they are the only ones who haven't left the cinema, Luke has already noticed, but he prefers to enjoy the moment alone, a few minutes pass and an employee comes in to clean up and check that the room is ready for the next session, she asks the two of them to leave the room, Ana is a little embarrassed and apologizes, the two of them leave the shopping mall cinema and head for the exit, she then looks at her watch, it's already getting dark, so she thinks it's best for them to go home:

"wow the time has gone by too fast today, well we need to get back Luke, I'm sorry to make you accompany me on my escape, I know you love being able to train.
