Chapter 42: Chapter 41: Return to Nazarick!
"Unya, so full~," Shalltear murmured happily as I gently wiped her clean. Her body carried various scents, so I dabbed a drop of perfume on the towel. Solution would've been handy to clean the stained sheets, but she wasn't here. Shalltear's blissful face needed thorough care, even behind her ears. The sheets would wait—she was still sprawled across them.
I changed into a nightgown, just a robe over bare skin, and sank into a chair by the window. The moon hung high, casting a beautiful glow over the garden below. Invisible Nazarick guards likely lurked in the shadows.
Exhausted from being drained repeatedly, I stared blankly, lost in thought. What had become of my body?
Shalltear had climaxed multiple times, and so had I—not uncontrollably, as men can manage to an extent. But for Shalltear, my release satisfied her heart, even if she didn't consume it. She desired it.
Strangely, the volume never diminished, no matter how many times I released. Since receiving Albedo-sama's power, my recovery and capacity had noticeably increased, but normally, successive releases would lessen. Today was different.
The cause? Likely two days ago. I'd teetered on the edge of life and death. That couldn't be inconsequential. The reason? A wet dream. Toyed with by Albedo-sama in a dream, of all things. A wet dream nearly killed me.
I'd avoided thinking about it yesterday—Demiurge-sama's tasks kept me busy, and I didn't want to dwell. But it was absurdly humiliating.
"Guh…" I pressed my eyes, a tear escaping from the sheer foolishness.
If Ainz knew, he'd see it: I'd leveled up. Defeating stronger foes grants massive experience. Breaking multiple high-level maidenheads, bathed in Albedo's essence, and piercing a level-100 succubus's virginity—how could I not level up?
Another factor: surviving death's edge brings power. Whatever the cause, overcoming that trial earned a goddess's favor.
And one more: the power of visualization. Like muscle training, imagining a goal yields results. Obsessing over pleasing Albedo-sama through "air petting" naturally boosted my vigor, despite the ordeal.
The tears were painful, but for Albedo-sama, they were trivial. Even the pain-laced pleasure with Shalltear had become enjoyable. Looking at the moon again, my face was free of shadows.
"Don't you ever plan to come to Nazarick?" Shalltear asked, lounging on the bed, basking in euphoria, not exhaustion. A level-100 vampire, her skin glowed, her energy brimming.
"I plan to visit soon," I replied.
I knew she meant relocating, but agreeing would complicate things.
"As you heard, Ainz-sama granted me access to Nazarick's great library. I'll apply tomorrow."
"Apply?" she asked.
"For permission to visit Nazarick."
Though under Albedo's command and technically part of Nazarick, I wasn't born there, so boundaries existed. Without high rank, I couldn't enter freely. Visiting the Great Tomb of Nazarick required steps: submitting a request at Ainz-sama's E-Rantel residence, getting the right signatures, and waiting for Ainz-sama's approval—or a proxy's if he's unavailable. Then, travel by carriage to Carne Village, stay overnight, and present the approved document to enter. Three days was optimistic.
"Sounds tedious," Shalltear said.
"It's just necessary procedure," I replied.
"But Ainz-sama allows you to come, right?"
"Yes, I'm grateful."
"Then it's no problem. I'll take you."
"What?"
No time to protest. Shalltear leapt from the bed, grabbed her enchanted cloak and my arm. A human, even leveled up, couldn't resist her vampire strength. She cast a gate spell, a dark sphere forming. With a sultry smile at a hidden peephole, she pulled me through the shadowy portal.
"Soshan, wake up!" Lupusregina burst into Solution's room, her maid outfit disheveled, delivering a full-force punch to the dazed Solution, still staring vacantly from her bed.
Solution, a shoggoth resistant to physical attacks, was snapped back by Lupusregina's love-infused punch, a sisterly wake-up call.
"What!? Why, Lupu!?" Solution yelped.
"No time! Big brother got kidnapped by Shalltear-sama!"
"By Shalltear-sama? How!?"
How did Lupusregina know? She'd been spying the whole time, watching my intimacy with Shalltear-sama from start to finish, studying her techniques. The spoiled-little-sister mode was particularly enlightening. But she'd also been… comforting herself, her maid outfit pulled down, no panties, her scent betraying her. Solution, luckily, was too shocked to notice.
"It was sudden! He mentioned wanting to visit Nazarick's library, and she just took him!"
"…This is bad," Solution said.
"Exactly why I came to you!"
A human trapped in a vampire's lair, ravaged beyond recognition, was a grim prospect. He'd likely survive—big brother was resourceful—but if Shalltear's bloodlust turned him into a lesser vampire, that was a risk. His blood was supposedly irresistible to her.
"We can't handle this. Contact Albedo-sama," Solution urged.
"Uh, Albedo-sama's a bad idea right now."
"Why?"
"Stuff happened while you were out of it."
"I wasn't out, just… distracted."
"Right."
Solution had been secretly draining big brother's essence—minimum once, maximum five times daily, averaging three. Two days before and during Albedo-sama's visits were abstinence days, leaving about 60 monthly sessions. But two days ago, over 100 in a single day—two months' worth. Solution succumbed to acute essence poisoning. Albedo-sama could've healed her instantly, but Lupusregina's punch did the trick.
"Ainz-sama… No, he's swamped with expedition prep. We can't bother him with this," Solution said.
"He cares about big brother, but… yeah, bad timing," Lupusregina agreed.
If Ainz-sama were free, it might be worth a try, but no issues had fully surfaced yet—just a high chance of trouble.
"If he cares… Mare-sama," Solution suggested.
"That's it!" Lupusregina exclaimed.
They'd heard big brother once gave Mare-sama a piggyback tour of Nazarick. Mare, Aura's twin, was close enough to Shalltear-sama to intervene—though both would deny their bond if asked.
"Aura-sama could handle Shalltear-sama," Solution said.
"Oh!" Lupusregina froze.
"What? Contact them!"
Solution grimaced, her hand slipping into her chest. "No message scroll…"
"What!? Why not!?"
The last scroll was used during the big brother near-murder incident. Replenishment requests were ignored or delayed—Solution didn't know why. Without a scroll, reaching Mare-sama in Nazarick was impossible.
"What do we do? Run to Nazarick? No time! Why can't I use magic!" Solution groaned.
"Magic! Nar-chan! Where's Narberal?" Lupusregina asked.
"She's at the Shining Golden Pavilion in E-Rantel."
With Ainz-sama on expedition, Momon the hero was a doppelgänger, sticking to low-key tasks near E-Rantel. It was still dark—she might be at the pavilion, chatting with doppelgängers.
"Hurry!" Solution urged.
"Let's go!" Lupusregina shouted.
Lupusregina's maid outfit remained askew; Solution, in a sheer negligee, threw on a gown for decency. They flung open the window and leapt into the night.
Two beautiful sisters raced through E-Rantel's dark streets. Would they make it in time?
Meanwhile, the man they aimed to save stood under the icy glares of Shalltear's Vampire Brides.
