Nyanko Sakura found a quiet spot by the riverbank, far enough from the chaos to allow herself a brief moment of rest. The sound of the flowing water was soothing, a stark contrast to the relentless noise of battle that had filled her ears for days. She curled up beneath a large tree, her body aching with exhaustion.
As she settled down, Sakura's mind wandered back to the strange metal object she had taken from the human. She pulled it out, studying its unfamiliar shape.
