Not a Grimoire

Dear diary,

I made a friend! Her name is Poppy.

She says her mommy named her after the flower cause she has red hair. I told her that was very cool, but I secretly thought her hair was more orange than red. Poppy is rich, like really rich. Her daddy is a politician, he... uhhhhhh... he does really important things. maybe.

I asked her if she knew about America but she said she didn't know anything. She did say she was gonna ask her mommy about it. But I doubt she knows about it either. Goodman pretends he doesn't hear me whenever I ask about America. It's starting to annoy me a lot.

We had soup for dinner but I plucked some kale from Gina's garden for you.
