Ninja World: I Have a Life Simulator

Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Impressive! Did I Just Get the Support of Uchiha Shisui?

"When did you manage to hide your real body?" Hyūga Jinkū finally understood that he had been deceived during the battle.

Simply put, he had been outplayed!

But what baffled him the most was that, despite possessing the Byakugan, he had completely missed the moment when his opponent hid his real body. It was something he couldn't figure out no matter how hard he tried.

"It was when my initial two shadow clones blocked your line of sight!" Uchiha Akira explained calmly as he withdrew the kunai from the back of Jinkū's heart.

Yes, the two shadow clones that charged in at the beginning were never meant to defeat the opponent; they were merely a distraction.

After that, he swapped places with a shadow clone and used the Transformation Jutsu to turn into a rock.

Sure enough, the opponent fell for it, thinking he had won after destroying the shadow clone that had replaced the real Akira.

But why didn't the Byakugan, with its X-ray-like vision, see through the shadow clone's deception? It's similar to how Naruto Uzumaki in the original series used a shadow clone to block the hole beneath Neji Hyūga, allowing the real Naruto to launch a surprise attack from below.

"Impressive, so this is the power of the Uchiha, the most prestigious clan in Konoha? And he's just a six-year-old kid!"

"Shadow Clone Jutsu, Great Fireball Jutsu, Transformation Jutsu—these techniques were used with such mastery! But more importantly, his battle strategy is something to be reckoned with!"

"It's hard to believe he's only six years old!"

"It seems the Uchiha clan has produced another remarkable genius!"

...

The crowd gathered on the academy's training ground began murmuring among themselves.

An elderly man nearby couldn't help but beam with pride. His beloved grandson had just defeated a Genin from the Hyūga clan in front of everyone.

Hearing the praise around him made him even happier than if the compliments were directed at himself!

Similarly, as the Hokage, once he had promised something in front of so many people, there was no way he could go back on his word.

After announcing Uchiha Akira's victory, the Third Hokage personally handed him a forehead protector, officially granting him the rank of Genin!

Next up was the matter of team assignments at the academy!

Uchiha Akira then proceeded to register his ninja credentials.

By the end of the day, news of Uchiha Akira applying for early graduation on his first day of school had spread throughout the entire village of Konoha.

Uchiha Akira's reputation as a prodigy had also spread throughout the village!

It's worth noting that, according to tradition, any Uchiha who passes the graduation exam is typically assigned to the Konoha Police Force, a department entirely controlled by the Uchiha clan.

However, Uchiha Akira politely declined the offer to join the Konoha Police Force.

After all, the Police Force is more like a mix of police and city management, mainly responsible for maintaining order in the village. This role doesn't allow for mission assignments, meaning one can only rely on a fixed salary.

Uchiha Akira, of course, refused!

On one hand, it was due to Uchiha Akira's own "talent."

On the other hand, perhaps out of respect for his grandfather, Clan Head Fugaku did not force the issue when Akira expressed his disinterest in joining the Police Force.

However, according to the rules, new Genin must be personally supervised by a Jōnin!

When Akira returned home, his grandfather, slightly tipsy from drinking, entered his room, humming a tune.

He praised his grandson highly and also gave him a time and location for a meeting the next morning, saying that the Uchiha leadership had arranged for an exceptional teacher for him!

Curious, Uchiha Akira asked his grandfather more about it, but the old man just smiled mysteriously and said he'd find out the next day.

With a sense of curiosity, Akira went to bed, and the next morning, after a quick wash and breakfast, he headed to a lake within the Uchiha clan grounds.

From a distance, Akira could see a figure standing by the lake.

The person was wearing an olive-green vest, with a short sword strapped to their back, and the Uchiha clan emblem on their clothing.

Sensing Akira's approach, the figure turned around, revealing the face of a young man who appeared to be about sixteen or seventeen years old, with a button nose.

"Hello, you're Uchiha Akira, right? I'm Uchiha Shisui, and from now on, I'll be your teacher," the figure said warmly, greeting him.
