"All right, Naruto," she said as she shook her head. "How was your vacation? If I should even call it that. You had clones taking care of things even during vacation time."

"As long as the family gets the vacation," he said. "I'm fine, working all the time, but at the same time, a vacation for Hinata and the kids was long overdue."

"You really are a workaholic, aren't you? No wonder you always let Shikamaru leave early."

"Well, I haven't had to do that since Temari left," Naruto said. "He's been more than happy to put in a few extra hours. How's Inojin? Missing his father?"

"He's fine," she said. "Work keeps him busy enough to not dwell on Sai's absence too much. Is he going to return any time soon?"

"Things have stabilized enough that we can transfer him back after the next month's council meeting. Temari has brought things under control."

"That's … good," Ino said.

"You don't sound sure of that," Naruto said.

"I'm not," Ino said. "He was already in Suna when the switch happened, but … Forget it. It's great that he's coming back."

"That forced smile isn't fooling anyone, Ino. Especially not me," Naruto said. "Do you mind telling me about the situation on that other Earth? Your circumstances are a precedent. This kind of switch might happen for anyone else, so we need to be prepared."

"Sure, let's go." Ino nodded.
