Net of Fujima

(A hawk spots a rabbit)

An eye shoots open powerful, and sharply this glare is then followed by a weathered but clear deep voice "A net? you say..." as his gaze hardens Raimotaro and Kumotaro tremble practically bleeding sweat "Y-y-yes s-sir" Raimotaro sputters. Clenching a weird stone in his hand the imposing man then asks, eyes glowing "How strong was he" composing himself to the best of his abilities the archer Kumotaro answers " He was able to deflect my brother-Raimotaro's attack" the glow in his eyes now dimming the man pulls his head out of the shadow Revealing the bandit king with his abundant but shaggy hair a poor but ornate brown rags under his black armor and many would expect many aged scars on someone of his stature what could be seen was mystical. Crimson life like red marks slither down from his face, where scars would be and reform on his chest plate shaping a closed eye, an unnatural slight blue tone on his skin, completely un scarred almost as if he were never in a battle.

As soon as he stands the flames go out. In the darkness a sword could be heard slowly sliding against a sheath and expecting to be executed the brothers close their eyes tightly. the sword is heard flying through the air but it grazes the candles bursting them into a blue flame and a tinge of anger could be heard in his voice "Genseki has perished" shocked of the news since he was a rank higher than the two brothers "How!?" echoed through the small room sharply silencing himself Raimotaro bows requesting lenience with his out burst, granting his request The king answers "You know well enough who did it" remembering that they were caught by the culprits he asks another question "How did you escape" as soon as Raimotaro could boldly think up a lie a gust of wind danced in the room Raimotaro fell short of his words. With the blade pointed at his neck, he is warned "you have one chance left before you receive your punishment".

He points his sword at Kumotaro gesturing him to tell the truth "we used that father tactic you thought was stupid and it worked, it creeped them out and they let us go"

"you did know where they dropped you off right?"

Before Kumotaro could fabricate an excuse his thumb specifically was sliced, with a raised voice he calls them out "Not only have you two attempted to lie to me twice. You are responsible for alerting the nearest General you see of any changes in our villages. It is best you know well that you aren't free bandits anymore you serve me, you search for me, you hunt for and you are to warn us of anything that happens or did you forget who is helping this "father" of yours. I was generous because you two haven't failed us but now I see my hand should be held tighter, now Go! Your audacity have insulted me far enough" as the brother flee the room The king returns to his seat and as he closes his eyes the marks wrap around him as he taps his foot rhythmically "Jinkudori he is your student look after them" a man holding a massive bow walks out of the shadows bowing before saying "yes sir" walking out of the door leaving two silhouettes in the room with the king "and you go after the group".

Keiaru sits in front of Fujima as she hears him mumbling a story before springing awake, he looked winded, as he calms himself he looks around before realizing he is being carried by Keiaru "What were you mumbling just now" she asked, jumping off her shoulders he looks to his arm before answering "I wouldn't know I probably mumble all the time when I sleep so, ignore it." As he gains his balance after waking up Renzo asks if his arm is hurting much "Only when it moves I gotta hold it still for a bit" as the group stumbles by Fujima remembers the messenger bird Hibiki had "Did y'all happen to see a messenger bird"

"We put the note in your pocket just don't read too loud"

"Are ya sure you ain't jealous?"

"No idiot it'll just remind me of my father and mother and stop with the accent"

"H-Hey don't go complaining till you get married daughter"

while reading the note he holds a smile back before asking if they could go somewhere to get something to hold his arm still Keiaru answers "We are nearing a fishing village will that work?" before Fujima would accept Renzo cuts in saying "This will be a chance to see if he is the fisherman from that story we read" slightly irritated by what he said Keiaru asks "You still don't believe me?". Before they enter the village they hear a commotion outside one of the villager spot the group asking for their help "There is a Monster that has been attacking all of the fishermen please defeat him for us" suddenly Fujima rushes over grabbing a spear on the way as Keiaru rushes after him Renzo tells them to be wary of any of the bandit generals "Why would you believe they are involved?"

"There is a large spirit here and we did defeat one of the generals"

not seeing what he was looking at Keiaru asks "What spirit?"

as a building flies at the two they dart past it before seeing the fish slowly lower down letting a man off its head in front of Fujima "Why are you here Hanzo don't tell me you work for the bandit king?"

Hanzo who also held a spear hugs Fujima as he responds

"Ah I've missed you Fujima you know... She was really sad when you left our crew, now, she's just mad"

defending himself Fujima sarcastically responds

"You know I couldn't stay when you chose to threaten a village"

"You know you just didn't want to get a bad reputation for your favorite shops"

"Well how was I going to eat" "By fishing you-" as they look back they see Keiaru and Renzo approaching not wanting to reveal "that" part of his past he tells Hanzo to "hurry up and try to steal me away" also noticing the group Hanzo agrees "Just so you know I wont go easy even with that broken arm of yours" and just before Keiaru and Renzo can get join the fray the fish slammed his tail before the two separating them from Hanzo and Fujima's battle.
