Chapter 90: Clearing out the Lava Dungeon
And suddenly her system kicked in, giving her another great surprise.
'You have amassed enough energy to open up new skill, death summon skill.'
Oya's eyebrows were lifted instantly as she didn't think such a gift would be given to her by the system!
At once, she hurried up and tried her new skill.
"Death summon!"
Suddenly, over ten thousand skeletons appeared out of nowhere. They were all weak, not as much stronger than the skeletons summoned from the dead bodies of the monsters.
However she knew the number of dead monsters numbered in hundred in each minute, making her ability to increase the size of her army limited.
"Ela, more space, more space, hurry!"
Oya shouted out in extreme shock as she started to continuously use this new god-like skill for her. Suddenly the huge space started to be filled with skeletons, as they started running, wielding their swords towards the monsters.
It turned into a number battle now!
Over a hundred thousand skeletons joined the fight, started killing these monsters. In one hour, more than half of the number of the skeletons Oya summoned were killed, making everyone think she was mistaken to abandon the first stronger looking skill.
However Oya knew the remaining few of these skeletons were now much stronger, as they kept upgrading themselves throughout the fight!
"So it works like this," she muttered, as she understood the secret behind being a necromancer right here! no matter the loss, the remaining skeletons were now creating a large strong army able to support her old strong one.
And so she didn't stop summoning skeletons, and she didn't hurry to destroy these gates!
She didn't know that Ibro leveled his own armies of skeletons in this way, and strangely this way was also used by her right now!
The NPCs didn't stop fighting, and the fact they managed to keep these monsters in check, despite their large numbers, was making them all excited!
They all suffered on the hands of these monsters, and no one here knew that these monsters came from destroyed worlds like ones they came from, or else their joy and excitement might be doubled!
The fight raged on continuously without a single moment of rest! Oya's great giant skeletons proved to be worthy of taking all the trouble in summoning, as from the first minute till now, no single one of them was killed, or even seriously injured.
Their fighting abilities were also stunning, as they started to level up in this fight, and they started to gain the ability to summon lava and use it in their attacks one by one.
That surprise made Oya more eager to summon more skeletons like them, and as the fight was going on right now in a strange balance, she decided to go out, summon more giants, and come back. After all, her energy meter was now running on fuel, making her able to summon hundreds of them in no time!
"Ela, make an opening for me to go out. When I'm ready to come back, I will send a message to one of my friends to inform you."
Oya's words attracted everyone's attention at once, as her master hurriedly asked:
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to bring more of these," Oya pointed towards the direction of her giants, and this made everyone here suck a cold air of breath. Scary, necromancers were really scary, and greedy!
Ela compiled at once, as she made an opening for her to leave. Once left, she didn't stop using her death summon skill, while she ordered her skeletons to go towards the distant lands and start killing monsters.
Hundreds of thousands of skeletons marched in a large army towards the monsters up front, while Oya started to summon more, adding more skeletons to those falling in the brutal fights everywhere, while surviving skeletons got many bonuses from fallen monsters as well.
Just as one hour passes, she manages to kill over a hundred giants. She instantly summoned skeletons from their corpses, and ordered them to move forward, shielding her skeletons from harm, while both started to gain many benefits already.
Things kept going from good to better as the number of her fallen skeletons greatly diminished, while survivors kept growing stronger. As for her energy meter, it didn't show much decrease, and energy consumed in summoning those over hundred giants was rapidly replenished.
A day passed like this, and after this whole intense day of fighting, her army of giant skeletons were already in thousands! As for her skeletons, they were numbered in millions, most were now extremely advanced skeletons, and few of them turned into death knights, liches and other high end skeletons she ever heard of.
'I'm coming, make an opening,' she sent this word to Salsola the moment she got near the area of fight. She was astonished to see the huge shield grew more in size to cover over a hundred mile radius.
She spotted the place of the opening, and hurriedly she moved all her skeletons inside. It took many hours to do so, and when she finally entered this region, she felt surprised by the huge number of monsters there.
Her skeletons were half dead already, with some tens of giants being killed, but this didn't make her feel sad, as she already gained much more skeletons, much stronger, much higher in quality, and she got thousands of giants already under her command.
And now she was finally here!
"Death summon!"
"Death summon!"
"Death summon!"
She started summoning more monsters, while Ela and others made the shield grow more due to the large number of skeletons she just added in a short time!
The fight raged on for days, and her army swelled up in size to reach tens of millions in number.
It wasn't a small army, not a big army, it was a huge army and she was the owner of it!
Others looked at this terrifying scene, feeling how weak and small they were! As Oya got bored from this fight, and she knew this would go on for no end, she started to act more serious, ordering her skeletons to act on rampage, pushing the front line further forward, and she started to target those gates.
What others didn't know was that she brought only half of her current army, leaving the rest out there killing more monsters and gaining levels fast.
Her energy meter was something not needed for her worry now, as she already had stored a huge amount of energy, enough to summon tens of thousands of giants at this moment!
And her energy got boosted much more after absorbing these gates!
As she started to demolish gates, the number of monsters started to rapidly decline. As one gate only remained, she didn't hurry to destroy it, as she turned to her allies and said:
"Let's leave this gate here inside this shield, ok?"
Ela was already shocked a long time ago with her mad decisions, however she wasn't feeling odd or strongly refusing these decisions now, as she knew Oya always ended up winning, and winning it big!
"Sure, but more NPCs are already nearby, do you want to postpone killing these monster seeds inside them for later?"
Oya thought a little, before she glanced at her meter and felt sorry to let all this energy unused. "Let them come, I will start killing their seeds, then will leave again for days before coming back to end everything."
Her words made Ela nod, and in the next hours, tens of thousands of NPCs arrived here in huge numbers and great momentum.
The total number of them exceeded hundred thousand NPCs, and that made everyone realize the next battle would be much brutal.
Oya didn't speak as she ordered her system with no much worry or care to kill the seeds in their bodies.
Her system complied, and in this batch of NPCs, over ten thousand of them were already possessed by monsters. The fight this time was really epic, and Oya had to wait for a whole day to make sure things wouldn't go out of control, especially the number of gates summoned was in thousands!
After she exited the shield, she went towards the next places of fallen giants. Along the way she never stopped summoning skeletons for even one second, and that made a new large army of weak skeletons to be added to her already existing army.
And the next thing she did was to start summoning giants, sending them all towards the front.
Right now, the scale of her skeletons reached a huge distance, stretched over hundreds of miles already. In every passing minute, her energy was replenished enough to summon tens of giants, which made her jump from one location to another summoning huge numbers of giant skeletons.
The look of this place started to change, as the red white bones were now taking control of the scene of the horizon, with a huge number of giants already raging in these lands.
