How can two Chakra attributes be fused together?

Gekkō Ishisaki was at a loss. Yet, his experience with Transparency gave him a foundation to work from. Transparency was a Bloodline Limit after all, though the exact Chakra fusion behind it eluded him.

Ishisaki concentrated, activating Tōton to feel the vibrations of its Chakra. There was something unique there, but it wasn't clear enough to decipher on his own.

Suddenly, the system chimed in:

"What? This can be analyzed too?" Ishisaki muttered in surprise.

[Unknown ※: Why not?]

Though the system's response seemed smug, Ishisaki couldn't help but be impressed.

"Well, tell me sooner next time!" he retorted, though he was eager to see where this would lead.

The analysis bar appeared, progressing steadily.

[20%]

In just a few minutes, the bar was already one-fifth complete.

"If the analysis finishes successfully, does that mean I'll automatically learn the technique?" Ishisaki asked aloud.

[Unknown ※: Theoretically, yes.]

"Theoretically?" Ishisaki frowned but decided to wait and see.

By keeping Tōton active and letting its Chakra resonate, Ishisaki ensured the system had plenty to work with. Twenty minutes later, the analysis concluded.

As the analysis concluded, Ishisaki felt a rush of new knowledge flood his mind. It was as if he instinctively understood how to fuse two Chakra types.

The process was clear now:

1. Perform Nature Transformation on two different parts of the body simultaneously.

2. Gradually guide the transformed Chakra streams together.

3. Maintain balance to prevent collision or instability.

It sounded simple, but in practice, each step required extreme precision and control.

Excited to test it out, Ishisaki asked, "Can the system analyze whether water and fire attributes can actually be fused?"

With the process clear, Ishisaki began.

Immediately, Chakra spiraled out of control, causing both hands to shake uncontrollably. The conflicting energies clashed, and he had to stop.

"Again!"

The second attempt was no better, nor was the third. Half an hour passed with minimal improvement.

Eventually, Ishisaki managed to hold both transformations for two seconds before the Chakras destabilized and dispersed.

Though progress was slow, the system interrupted with a notification.

[Congratulations! You have acquired a new skill: Dual Chakra Attribute Changes.]

"What's this?" Ishisaki asked.

Ishisaki's eyes lit up. If he could hang this new skill on the bar, he could strengthen it passively, just like his other abilities.

Ishisaki removed one of the Chakra Refining Techniques from the passive skill bar and replaced it with Dual Chakra Attribute Changes.

Within seconds, the first enhancement was complete.

Ishisaki immediately felt a difference. The control over the transformations was slightly better.

"It works!" he exclaimed.

Encouraged, Ishisaki adjusted his skill bar further. He removed three of the remaining Chakra Refining Techniques, dedicating four slots to Dual Chakra Attribute Changes.

Now, every twenty seconds, the system would enhance his mastery of this ability.

"It's almost like cheating," Ishisaki muttered, grinning.

For the next two hours, Ishisaki focused entirely on the skill. Each passive enhancement increased his control and duration. By the end of the session, he could maintain both transformations for an hour straight.

With this progress, he felt ready to tackle the next step: fusion.

Fusion would be far more dangerous. Two conflicting attributes, fire and water, merging inside his body could lead to catastrophic results.

"Let's start outside the body first," Ishisaki decided.

Clasping his hands together, Ishisaki let streams of water and fire Chakra flow from each palm. He carefully guided the two streams to touch.

The moment they made contact, chaos erupted.

BOOM!

The resulting explosion sent Ishisaki flying backward, slamming him into the wall. The room was filled with water droplets, while scattered flames ignited the curtains.

Coughing and wincing in pain, Ishisaki scrambled to extinguish the fire.

"That... didn't go as planned," he muttered, sitting amidst the wreckage of his room.

Still, despite the setback, he couldn't stop smiling.

"It's not going to be easy, but this is what it takes to create something truly powerful.

Ishisaki stood and dusted himself off.

"If I keep trying indoors, I'll destroy my house," he mused. "I'll find a better spot outside to practice."
