Chapter 11: Chapter:11
"Nature Transformation?"
Gekkō Ishisaki's eyes widened as he processed the system's notification.
"By putting Water Style into the skill bar, I unlocked the Nature Transformation of the water attribute. Doesn't that mean…"
He paused, his thoughts racing. If he could obtain Nature Transformation for the water element this easily, then he could potentially do the same for the other elements. By hanging fire, wind, earth, and lightning-style ninjutsu in the skill bar, he could systematically master all five Nature Transformations.
The realization made Ishisaki grin, though he quickly tempered his excitement.
"Five basic elements are just the beginning. The true power lies in mastering Yin and Yang Release."
The thought sent a shiver of anticipation through him. Mastering the full spectrum of Nature Transformations would be an unprecedented feat. With Yin and Yang Release complementing the five elemental releases, Ishisaki could achieve techniques far beyond the reach of ordinary shinobi.
But that was a goal for the future. For now, Ishisaki was more interested in the skill bar's unique ability to run skills continuously, making them stronger with each iteration.
The Chakra Refining Technique boosted his chakra reserves. School-level Taijutsu steadily enhanced his physical fitness. And now, Water Style was poised to demonstrate whether ninjutsu could be similarly enhanced.
"I need to test this," Ishisaki muttered, standing abruptly. "But not here."
Practicing high-powered ninjutsu in his home was out of the question. The park's artificial lake would be perfect—a secluded spot where he could unleash his jutsu without worrying about prying eyes or collateral damage.
The sun blazed overhead as Ishisaki arrived at the artificial lake. The heat was oppressive, and the surrounding stone tiles radiated warmth. Unsurprisingly, the area was deserted.
"This'll do," Ishisaki murmured, stepping up to the lake's edge.
Memories of his early struggles with Water Style surfaced. He had spent three grueling years mastering Water Style: Water Colliding Wave, a C-rank ninjutsu. The technique had been his parents' only legacy beyond their home and some savings.
At the time, he had been proud of his accomplishment. But in hindsight, the jutsu's power was underwhelming. The best he could manage was a stream of water just tall enough to push someone back a few meters—nothing compared to the destructive force of other C-rank techniques.
Now, however, the skill bar had run the Water Colliding Wave technique over sixty times. Ishisaki couldn't wait to see the results.
He formed the hand seals with practiced precision, but almost immediately, he noticed a difference.
"The seal time… it's cut in half," he whispered.
Before, it took him about three seconds to complete the seals. Now, the process was done in just 1.5 seconds. The improvement wasn't just in speed—his movements felt smoother, more natural.
"Alright, let's see the results."
He finished the seals and called out:
"Water Style: Water Colliding Wave!"
Ishisaki took a deep breath, molding his chakra perfectly before releasing it in a powerful burst.
Boom!
The roar of rushing water filled the air. Ishisaki's eyes widened as he watched the water stream explode from his mouth, far surpassing anything he had produced before.
The wave spread nearly seven meters wide and stretched dozens of meters into the lake, its sheer force creating ripples that reached the far shore. The water's impact sent up a spray of droplets, soaking Ishisaki in seconds.
"Is this really the same jutsu?"
Ishisaki stood frozen, his hair and clothes dripping wet as he stared at the turbulent lake.
"The power… it's not even close to what it used to be," he murmured. "This isn't just an improvement—it's a completely different technique."
The transformation was undeniable. A technique that had once been laughable in power was now a force to be reckoned with.
Ishisaki considered the factors behind the improvement. Mastering the water attribute's Nature Transformation had undoubtedly played a role. Nature Transformation refined the elemental properties of chakra, making techniques more potent and efficient.
"Still, that's not the only reason," Ishisaki thought.
The passive skill bar's continuous execution of the technique was another key factor. With every run, the skill bar improved his understanding of the jutsu, making it faster, stronger, and more effective.
"It's not just the jutsu that's improving," Ishisaki realized. "Even my Nature Transformation is probably being refined further."
Nature Transformation wasn't a static skill—it grew with practice and experience. And with the skill bar running the technique nonstop, Ishisaki's mastery of the water element would only continue to deepen.
As he stood by the lake, water still dripping from his hair, Ishisaki couldn't suppress a smile.
"If this continues…" he murmured, "then the power of my ninjutsu can be upgraded infinitely."
The implications were staggering. With enough time, even a low-level C-rank technique like Water Colliding Wave could rival the destructive power of an S-rank jutsu.
He imagined the possibilities: a tsunami-level wave created with a simple Water Style jutsu, fireballs that could incinerate entire forests, lightning strikes that could split mountains.
"This… this is the real ninja romance," Ishisaki said, his grin widening.
For the first time, he felt the weight of the system's potential. The skill bar wasn't just a tool—it was a gateway to limitless power.
