Naruto's Review : First Viewer is Senju Tobirama?

Chapter 209: Chapter 209 : Temari's Intuition!!

"Mm~"

When Chiyo asked, White Zetsu could only hum lightly and then responded with silence.

On Chiyo's side, although she found "Gaara's" reaction a bit strange, she didn't sense anything wrong.

His appearance, chakra, and all were the same. She couldn't have been mistaken due to her old eyes, right?

"It's fine, then."

Chiyo nodded and started giving "Gaara" a lesson, like usual.

It was called a lesson, but mainly she was explaining how to review documents and similar tasks.

In fact, it was easier to get by with Chiyo, but it was harder with Temari and Kankuro.

As two days quickly passed, Temari and Kankuro successfully completed their mission and returned to Sunagakure.

Once they got back, they immediately felt something was off.

They could clearly feel that Gaara seemed like he didn't want to see them. After just reporting their mission, "Gaara" quickly kicked them out of the office.

"Temari, what's going on here?"

Looking at the office door that had just been closed behind them, Temari was just as confused.

"Maybe Chiyo's lesson was too difficult, and Gaara didn't want us to disturb him."

"I hope so... I don't want Gaara to turn back to how he was before."

Thinking about the old Gaara, Kankuro couldn't help but shiver.

Back then, Gaara truly didn't care for anyone, and when he went crazy, he would kill even them without hesitation.

Gaara now was much better. He treated them politely and even sometimes called them brother and sister.

How should they describe it?

It just felt... really nice!

In the Kazekage office, Chiyo was away for something, and only "Gaara" was sitting in the Kazekage's seat.

"Temari and Kankuro are back. The most dangerous moment has arrived. I can't let them realize I'm not the real Gaara. I must avoid seeing them too much."

It was impossible not to see them; the three of them lived in the same house, always running into each other.

White Zetsu could only try to avoid meeting them.

Of course, the safest method would be to let the two of them continue their mission outside the village.

Thinking of this, White Zetsu focused and began arranging tasks for Temari and Kankuro.

When Black Zetsu left Sunagakure, he had informed White Zetsu about some people he had placed in the village.

This would allow him to use those people in case of emergencies to delay things.

Now, he needed those people.

"As long as we can get through tonight peacefully, we can buy a few more days."

If possible, White Zetsu wanted to send Temari and Kankuro out of the village right away.

Sunagakure was in a state of disrepair, and for the village to recover, everyone had to do their part.

As children of the Fourth Kazekage, Temari and Kankuro had a duty to help.

Whenever there was a mission, they wouldn't complain.

Even if they had just finished a mission earlier in the day and hadn't rested, they wouldn't say anything about going on another mission.

But White Zetsu still needed time to contact people, especially since he had to do it without anyone in Sunagakure knowing. It would take at least half a day.

"These undercover missions are too dangerous. I won't do it again next time."

In the middle of the night, the lights in the Fourth Kazekage's residence were bright. "Gaara" could tell right away that Temari and Kankuro hadn't gone to bed yet.

It was obvious they were waiting for him.

"Gaara" couldn't help but exclaim in his mind: "Damn."

He had delayed returning home until late to avoid meeting the two of them.

Tomorrow, he would wake up early again, just to make sure their paths didn't cross. The only time he would see them would be when giving out missions.

This way, it can maximize the chance that no one will discover that I'm an imposter.

What?

Gaara can't possibly be asleep.

How strange, he's White Zetsu, not actually Gaara.

Just because Gaara doesn't sleep, doesn't mean White Zetsu doesn't sleep.

But for now, I can't go home.

I can't just say that I'm too tired and need to go back to my room to rest to fool Temari and Kankuro, right?

That would be insulting their intelligence.

Right now, the only solution is to spend the night in the Kazekage office.

"Kankuro, why hasn't Gaara come back yet?"

At home, Temari occasionally glanced at the closed door, looking worried.

"Maybe Gaara has some urgent paperwork to deal with."

Compared to Temari's concern, Kankuro was much more relaxed.

But this couldn't go on forever. He had no idea when Gaara would return, but he really wanted to sleep.

"Since you're so worried, why don't we go to the Kazekage building?"

"Forget it, we shouldn't disturb Gaara."

After saying that, Temari sighed for some reason, and then she went to wash up and get ready for bed.

Seeing this, Kankuro silently cheered to himself and also prepared to go to sleep.

The most dangerous night was easily passed by "Gaara" this way.

The next morning, in the Kazekage office, "Gaara" was sporting panda eyes and handed a mission file to Temari and Kankuro.

At the same time, a middle-aged, well-fed man with a big belly walked into the office.

"These two must be Lady Temari and Lord Kankuro, right?"

After reading the file, Temari and Kankuro felt a bit puzzled.

They just returned yesterday, and today, someone has already specifically requested them to escort someone out of the village.

When did Temari and Kankuro become so popular?

"Yes."

But still, like I said, the revival of Sunagakure is the duty of every resident and ninja.

Temari and Kankuro just had a bit of an unusually high frequency of strange tasks, not realizing this was a task specifically made to send them away.

"Then let's not waste time and depart now."

"It's too rushed. We need about half an hour to prepare."

"Alright, I'll wait for you two at the village entrance."

"Mm."

After the plump man left, Temari clearly had something she wanted to say to Gaara.

But "Gaara" didn't want to talk to her.

He casually picked up a document and waved it, signaling to Temari that he still had a lot of work to do.

Seeing this, Temari could only helplessly pull Kankuro and leave the Kazekage building.

"Kankuro, don't you think Gaara is a bit strange?"

"Strange? Aside from being a little quiet, he doesn't seem that strange."

"It's because Gaara's so quiet that I find it strange. Think about it carefully, from yesterday to today, Gaara hasn't said a word to us."

"That's normal."

Hearing Temari's words, Kankuro didn't think much of it. "After all, we've only seen Gaara twice, yesterday and today. Plus, Gaara looks really busy. It's normal if he doesn't feel like talking."

"Mm, you make a good point."

Temari turned to glance at the Kazekage office upstairs. Her intuition as a woman told her that something wasn't right with Gaara.

But when it came to specifying what was wrong, she couldn't really say.

"I hope it's just my imagination."
