"You've been influencing her mind. A rare demon!"

Grasping Yakumo Kurama's wrist, Yusuke looked at her bloodshot eyes.

While she appeared to be Yakumo, her eyes bloodshot and seemingly devoid of reason, Yusuke, whose spiritual power surpassed that of a normal human, saw a grotesque demon possessing her.

To Yusuke, the demon resembled a Hollow, possibly of the same species.

"Another one to die? In this genjutsu, my inner demon, 'Ido,' is invincible! Those I kill here die in reality,"

The demon, Ido, spoke through Yakumo.

Yusuke coldly snorted, his spiritual pressure erupting.

Everyone felt the air stagnate; the scene blurred.

The red tentacles binding Naruto and the others shattered. Ido was flung from Yakumo's body, crashing into the pulsating walls.

With Ido gone, the weakened Yakumo stumbled; Yusuke caught her.

"You resented the village, believing it restricted your freedom, and your parents died mysteriously. But the demon killed them."

"It controlled you, creating the fire that killed your parents. This is the secret Kurenai has been protecting."

Naruto, Sasuke, and Yota were shocked. Kurenai sighed, her heart heavy.

Yakumo's expression shifted from shock to disbelief to remorse.

Beside her was a mud-covered sketchbook. As her memories returned, the mud receded, revealing a fire scene—her home!

"No, it can't be true!"

Tears streamed down Yakumo's face; her voice was filled with remorse. She denied it but remembered what happened.

"It's pointless. You'll all die. I'll consume her soul!" Ido sneered.

Many powerful ninjas existed, but their power was useless against Ido.

Ido was a soul, without a physical body. Ordinary attacks were ineffective.

Looking at Yusuke, Ido said, "You're strong in reality, but here, your power is useless."

The genjutsu landscape changed. The blood-red walls vanished, replaced by barren, scorched earth.

Hundreds of demons crawled out, emaciated, with gaping mouths, attacking everyone.

Everyone except Yusuke cried out in terror.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Yota attacked with kunai and jutsu, but to no effect. Their attacks passed through the demons.

Kurenai, half-erased from the painting, could only speak.

"Advisor-sama, please take them out of here!"

Kurenai saw no chance of victory.

"There's no escape! These demons are part of the genjutsu; you can't hurt them, but they can kill you!"

"Enjoy your fear in this genjutsu…"

Ido was stunned, his mouth agape.

The hellish landscape transformed into a sunlit meadow with flowers. The demons vanished, replaced by playful alpacas.

"Genjutsu? Advisor-sama's genjutsu overpowered Ido's!"

Kurenai exclaimed, surprised.

Though Yusuke was a genjutsu master, Kurenai believed his skill was comparable to hers at best.

Seeing his genjutsu easily overwhelm Ido's, she was impressed.

Yusuke used his "Genjutsu" immersing targets in his genjutsu world. He overlaid his genjutsu over Ido's.

Ido tried to summon his genjutsu again, but failed. He cried out in terror, "Impossible! Your genjutsu can't surpass mine! No human can have such powerful spiritual power!"

Yusuke calmly said, "Your power is good, but your intellect is lacking. When I pulled you from your host, you should have realized the difference."

Yusuke had an idea; the demon might interest a certain Shinigami.

He quickly formed hand seals, pressing his hands to the ground.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

A four-to-five-meter-tall humanoid demon appeared—Yusuke's summoned creature, Shinigami.

A chilling aura swept through Yusuke's genjutsu.
