Upon hearing Uchiha Gin's confirmation, Uzumaki Mito felt a warmth in her heart. As expected, the "human trafficker" she once knew was still the same person she had always thought him to be.

With a smirk, Uchiha Gin waved goodbye to the reluctant Uzumaki Mito.

Seeing this familiar gesture, Uchiha Gin smiled confidently and nodded.

"Farewell, everyone! The world is round; we'll meet again!" With those parting words, Uchiha Gin vanished into the dark forest.

"Young Master, we can still catch him!" one of the Senju clan members behind Tobirama suggested, unwilling to let the Uchiha escape so easily.

"The Hagaromo clan is no more in the Land of Fire. Our mission is complete," Tobirama replied calmly, ignoring the suggestion. Turning to his clan members, he added, "Also, from now on, don't call me 'Young Master.' Address me as the Second-in-Command."

Indeed, as his brother had promised, once the Hagaromo clan was dealt with, he would become the Senju clan's leader, thus elevating Tobirama to the Second-in-Command.

"Yes, Second-in-Command!"

The Senju warriors collectively shouted, their voices echoing through the forest.

"Uzumaki, you got lucky this time," Tobirama sneered at Mito, who was still staring in the direction Uchiha Gin had disappeared.

"Just in case that white-haired brat from the Senju clan had a trap set for you," Uchiha Hikari said, her eyes scanning him, as if looking for someone.

"And where's that troublesome girl?"

Not seeing Uzumaki Mito, Hikari asked, still on edge.

"Her? I had to let her go. You think the white-haired brat would spare me otherwise?" Gin said, rolling his eyes.

"Enough chit-chat, let's catch up with the others. We're almost at the border."

The group quickened their pace and soon caught up with the main force. When they arrived, they saw Hagaromo Shintaro talking to a group of unfamiliar people. Seeing Uchiha Gin, Shintaro waved them over.

"Mr. Gin, over here!"

"Damn, man! What's up!" Uchiha Gin called out, raising a fist in greeting.

The group of dark-skinned warriors stared at him in confusion.

"Looks like there's still a cultural gap," Uchiha Gin sighed, feeling like a misunderstood rapper.

He turned his attention back to the scenery.

After finishing their conversation, Shintaro introduced the group to Gin.

"These are the ninja from the Yagami clan of the Land of Lightning, here to escort us," he said.

So their mission was over?

"We're not done until we're in the Land of Lightning?" Gin asked, confused. They were only at the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Iron.

"Thank you for your help, Mr. Gin. Your mission is complete, and you'll receive your reward from Kinkaku and Ginkaku," Shintaro explained.

Gin approached Kinkaku and greeted him.

"Mr. Gin, thank you for everything. From here, the Hagaromo clan must walk its own path."

Kinkaku, usually simple-minded, showed rare seriousness.

"I understand~"

Gin cut him off, realizing that Kinkaku was worried about them staying in the Land of Lightning, where they might be ensnared.
