Naruto: Troublesome Ninja Haruta

Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Just Send Her Away

Chapter 15: Just Send Her Away

The Land of Wind—silver moonlight cast a dim glow over the vast desert.

In an abandoned village amidst the endless sands, Haruta, Yugao, and Shisui were resting after their mission.

Beside them, Pakura lay unconscious, still unmoving.

"Senpai, wasn't that a bit too much?"

Haruta glanced at the still-unconscious Pakura and shook his head at Shisui.

"She hasn't even woken up yet—how are we supposed to interrogate her for intel?"

"Uh…"

Shisui opened his mouth to respond but found himself at a loss for words.

Even Yugao, who had been tending to Pakura, lifted her head and gave Haruta a strange look.

The ambush on Pakura's unit had gone surprisingly smoothly—

After all, they had just finished a battle when Haruta's team struck from the shadows.

And the one who played the biggest role?

Haruta.

The massive Earth Dragon he summoned had been completely overwhelming.

Its sheer destructive force was nothing short of terrifying—

In mere moments, it had wiped out most of the Sunagakure shinobi.

With the battlefield thrown into chaos, Haruta and Yugao were able to quickly back up Shisui—

And together, they took down Pakura, who had already been staggered by the Earth Dragon's impact.

Of course, Shisui had been the main attacker, and Pakura's current unconscious state was mostly due to his genjutsu.

But when they recalled the fight—

The one who had landed the most brutal hits was none other than Haruta himself.

"Apologies… I might have gone a bit too far."

Shisui, being the honest guy he was, awkwardly admitted after a moment of hesitation.

Yugao, however, wasn't buying it.

"Come on, enough with that. What kind of training did you even go through?"

"Oh, my training? It was very, very strict."

Haruta smirked, deliberately emphasizing his words.

Strict?

That was an understatement.

It was outright brutal.

But in the end, he had to admit—

As much of a bastard as Danzo was, the insane training had helped him get to where he was now.

"Well, yeah… makes sense.

Otherwise, you wouldn't be this strong…"

Yugao pursed her lips, then suddenly asked—

"Where exactly did you train?

You're about the same age as us, but I don't remember seeing you at the academy."

"Uh…"

Haruta blinked, realizing he couldn't exactly answer that question.

"Cough, cough…!"

Thankfully, Pakura suddenly stirred, breaking the tension.

Haruta let out a small sigh of relief.

Though the Cursed Seal's restrictions no longer affected him, it still prevented him from directly revealing details about Danzo.

He could mention names, but not classified information.

And since he was planning to betray Danzo anyway—it was best to keep quiet for now.

"She's awake. Let's get to work."

"Yeah."

Shisui and Yugao nodded, shifting their focus back to Pakura.

The sooner they dealt with her, the sooner they could complete their mission.

---

Pakura's head throbbed with pain, her body aching and weak.

But as a hardened shinobi, she quickly recalled what had happened—

Her eyes snapped open, instantly alert.

She scanned her surroundings—

An old, dilapidated building.

And her captors were still here.

She was restrained.

Her fingers had been dislocated—even slight movement sent searing pain through her nerves.

"They didn't kill me… so that means…"

Pakura was no fool.

She forced down the pain, her expression darkening.

They wanted information.

Even if she didn't know exactly what they were after, the fact that they specifically targeted her meant this was serious.

And most importantly—

The genjutsu that knocked her out was far from ordinary…

"You're awake?"

A calm voice interrupted her thoughts.

She turned her head—

A shinobi in a mask was approaching.

Pakura recognized the mask instantly.

It was the same one worn by the man who summoned that monstrous Earth Dragon!

"Who are you? What do you want?"

Pakura's cold gaze locked onto him.

She already had her suspicions—but she still asked anyway.

"Our objective is simple.

We need information about Sunagakure's defenses and troop movements."

The one speaking, of course, was Haruta.

Truthfully, Shisui could've handled the interrogation alone—

His genjutsu was more than enough.

But Haruta had his own plans.

And Shisui, without hesitation, agreed to let him handle it.

"With Iwagakure pressing from the north and Kirigakure launching assaults, your situation is only going to get worse.

If things escalate, it won't just be Sunagakure that suffers."

"Are you idiots?"

Pakura scoffed, mocking them with a smirk.

"I don't know anything about troop deployments or strategy.

I'm a soldier, not a tactician.

Even if I did know something—why would I tell you?"

Despite her defiance, her gaze subtly flickered toward Shisui—

As if gauging the situation.

But there was no fear in her eyes.

"Looks like she's not cooperating."

Shisui stepped forward, glancing at Haruta.

"Want me to take over?

Shinobi like her have iron wills—regular interrogation methods won't work."

"I know."

Haruta smiled, shaking his head.

"But, Captain—have you ever considered something?"

"Hmm?"

Shisui frowned slightly.

Wasn't Haruta the one conducting the interrogation?

Why was he suddenly asking him questions?

Even Yugao was curious.

"What do you mean?"

**"I've been thinking about this for a while.

If I were the Kazekage, how would I handle this situation?"**

Haruta glanced at Pakura, who was glaring at him.

But he ignored her, continuing in a low voice—

"At first, I couldn't figure out a good solution.

But after seeing her, I finally found an answer."

Shisui was still confused, but Yugao played along.

"And what answer is that?"

Haruta extended a finger, pointing at Pakura.

"Simple—just send her to Kirigakure."

"…??!!"
