"Danzo sent his covert Four-Symbols Seal squad to assassinate me while I was in the Land of Fire. I dealt with them personally," Tobirama stated calmly, his tone unchanging as he repeated the shocking news.
"Hokage-sama... such a major event, and you didn't even inform anyone beforehand?" Shikaku stammered, sweat dripping down his forehead.
"Shikaku, gather all the jōnin in the conference room. I have an announcement to make," Tobirama ordered, his tone steady and authoritative.
"Understood…" Shikaku nodded reluctantly. Better to leave these matters to the Hokage himself, he thought, trying to suppress his rising anxiety.

Inside the Conference Room
Those who weren't privy to the news whispered amongst themselves, speculating about the sudden urgency of the Hokage's summons. However, those who were in the know remained silent, their faces grim. They understood one thing: the skies over Konohagakure were about to change.
"Is everyone here?"
Before anyone could respond, the voice of Tobirama echoed from outside, preceding his arrival.
"Hokage-sama!" The gathered shinobi turned to the door as Tobirama entered the room.
"Thank you all for coming. I have an important matter to discuss," he began, his tone as composed as ever.
"Danzo Shimura, my appointed Hokage Advisor, attempted to rebel and assassinate me. He is dead—dealt with by my own hands."
The room fell into stunned silence, with many visibly struggling to process the news.
"I have gathered you all here to reorganize and reassign the duties within the village," Tobirama continued, leaving no room for dispute. His words, laden with authority, quelled any thought of dissent.
Scanning the room, his gaze passed over familiar faces: Might Guy, Akimichi Chōza, Nara Shikaku, Yamanaka Inoichi, Hatake Kakashi, Aburame Shibi… All notable figures in the village, each pivotal in their own right.
Inoichi, head of the Analysis Team, felt his stomach churn. He had already examined Danzo's corpse with his clan's jutsu, uncovering secrets so horrifying that they left him in turmoil.
Satisfied that the room was united in attention, Tobirama's lips curled into a faint smirk as he began issuing orders.
"From today onward, Nara Shikaku will assume the role of Hokage Advisor and take over Danzo's Root. You will report directly to me."
"Yes, Hokage-sama!" Shikaku replied without hesitation.
He glanced briefly at his fellow members of the Ino-Shika-Chō trio, Akimichi Chōza and Yamanaka Inoichi. Both gave him a subtle nod of encouragement.
"Hatake Kakashi," Tobirama's gaze shifted to the enigmatic man in the mask. "You will serve as the acting leader of the ANBU. Your primary responsibility will be the village's security."
Kakashi blinked in surprise. He hadn't expected such a significant promotion.
Tobirama's smirk widened slightly. Kakashi had been an ardent supporter of his reinstatement as Hokage and had little affiliation with the Sarutobi faction. His skills were beyond reproach, making him a perfect fit for the role.
After a brief pause, Kakashi nodded. "Thank you for your trust, Hokage-sama."
Finally, Tobirama turned to Might Guy.
"Guy, how would you like to serve as my personal guard?"
For someone like Tobirama, having a bodyguard was almost unnecessary. However, Might Guy was a special case. His mastery of the Eight Gates granted him power rivaling even Six Paths-level beings. Tobirama had no intention of letting such a valuable asset stray too far.
"H-Hokage-sama, are you acknowledging my youth?!" Guy's voice trembled, his thick eyebrows twitching with emotion. He had always yearned for recognition, and now, the legendary Hokage himself had given it to him.
His joy was palpable. If not for the solemn occasion, he might have started running laps around the village.
"Thank you, Hokage-sama! I will guard you with my life! Burn brightly, youth!"
Tobirama's eye twitched slightly, but he nodded, allowing Guy his moment.
With these key positions filled, the initial reorganization was complete.
"The rest of you will maintain your current roles. Tomorrow, I will formally assume the Hokage position in an official ceremony. I expect all of you to be present in the village center."
"Yes!" the gathered shinobi responded in unison.
As the room began to clear, a cold, mechanical voice resonated in Tobirama's mind.
