Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

Not long after, the wooden clones released by Kirito successfully eliminated all the fleeing "Obito" lookalikes. However, without exception, they all turned out to be White Zetsu clones disguised as Obito. The real body had long since vanished.

"Fine. I've taught him a lesson this time. From now on, he won't be able to use the Kamui space so easily."

With the spatial coordinates of Kamui now recorded, Kirito could enter and leave that dimension at will. Obito's greatest trump card—his invincible escape technique—had been neutralized.

Before leaving, Kirito had even left a wooden clone within the Kamui space. Should Obito attempt to use Kamui again, the clone would interfere immediately, or even notify Kirito's main body to finish him off.

As the wooden clones merged back into Kirito, Tsunade asked, "So? Did you find that masked man?"

"No," Kirito replied with a shake of his head. "I assume he escaped before I returned."

"What a pity," Tsunade said, wincing as she healed her abdomen with Mystical Palm Technique. "Hiss... And you really pack a punch, Kirito."

Hearing her teasing tone, Kirito scratched his head apologetically. "Haha! Sorry, Master. I really didn't think it through at the time."

In the Kamui dimension, Kirito had been on high alert, anticipating Obito's possible resurrection. The moment the space began to distort, he instinctively charged in to stop it, only to realize he had intercepted Tsunade instead. Unfortunately, the force of his attack couldn't be retracted in time. Although he had held back, Tsunade still suffered the brunt of the impact along with the debris dragged into the Kamui space by Obito.

Once he realized the situation, Kirito quickly tracked Obito's fleeting presence and used Yomotsu Hirasaka to return to the real world with Tsunade.

"This Wood Release of yours…" Onoki floated nearby, his tone tinged with both envy and admiration. "It's just like the First Hokage's. Konoha really is full of talent."

Kakashi stepped forward, his concern evident. "Lady Tsunade, are you all right?"

Tsunade waved him off nonchalantly, standing tall. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me."

Ay, who had been observing the aftermath, scoffed. "Did you let that masked guy escape again?" He glanced at the remnants of the White Zetsu clone and added in frustration, "Whether it's space-time ninjutsu or those disgusting clones, the Akatsuki organization really is like a bunch of cockroaches!"

Onoki stroked his chin thoughtfully. "That man's claims are suspicious. As someone who fought Madara in the past, I can tell you that he's nothing like the legendary Uchiha Madara."

"But the 'Eye of the Moon' plan… Gathering the power of all the Tailed Beasts… It's hard to ignore," Terumi Mei murmured as she tended to Chojuro's wounds.

Gaara nodded, his voice steady. "If a technique requires the combined power of the Tailed Beasts, it's clear that it would be unimaginably dangerous."

Onoki turned to Ay. "Raikage, your brother has been confirmed to be safe. Does Cloud Village still need to participate in the joint investigation team?"

Ay shot back immediately. "Of course we do! Bee will always be a target as long as Akatsuki is active. Until they're wiped out, my brother is in danger. We'll continue with the investigation team!"

He turned to his guards. "Cee, Darui, we're heading back to Cloud Village to find Bee. That idiot dared to sneak off at such a critical time—he'll face my Iron Claw sanctions!"

"Yes, Lord Raikage," Cee and Darui replied as they hurriedly followed Ay out of the ruins.

"Let's leave the details of the joint investigation team for later," Onoki said, shaking his head at the ruined hot spring hotel. With that, he turned to leave, flanked by Kurotsuchi and Akatsuchi.

Gaara approached Kakashi. "Kakashi, please deliver a message to Naruto for me: tell him to be careful and stay safe. Don't give Akatsuki any openings."

Kakashi smiled. "No problem. Naruto will be happy to hear from you."

With that, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro departed, leaving the remnants of the meeting behind.

As the other Kage and their teams departed to prepare for the storm to come, Kakashi turned to Tsunade and Kirito. "Master Tsunade, I thought you had left for the village earlier. Why are you still here?"

Tsunade grinned and patted Kirito's shoulder. "Before we left, Kirito sensed something wasn't right. So, we used shadow clones to create the illusion that we'd left and stayed hidden here at the hot spring hotel."

She smirked triumphantly. "I didn't expect the enemy's plan to actually be a 'tiger-away-from-the-mountain' tactic, but we gave them quite the surprise, didn't we? Hahaha!"

Kakashi glanced at Kirito, his admiration evident. The intuition of a true powerhouse really is something else.

He silently acknowledged that the enemy had likely orchestrated this entire scheme to isolate Kirito and Tsunade. Their fear of Kirito's strength was obvious, especially after the masked man had been so thoroughly suppressed.

"It seems the Akatsuki organization has suffered greatly at Kirito's hands. He really is their nemesis."

Kakashi then shared his observations. "By the way, Lady Tsunade, I've noticed something about the masked man… When I first encountered him, he called himself 'Tobi' and acted like a fool—carefree and unserious. His demeanor now is completely different. I suspect his identity as 'Madara' is just another disguise."

Tsunade frowned. "That's valuable information. We'll verify this once we're back in the village."

She turned to look toward Konoha. "The most important thing right now is to return home and assess the situation."

Tsunade hadn't rushed back earlier because she wanted to ambush any Akatsuki members who might appear. Now that it was clear Obito had escaped and no further attacks were coming, she had no reason to delay.

With that, Tsunade, Kirito, and Kakashi set off toward Konoha, determined to prepare for the storm that lay ahead.
