Inside the study, Uchiha Fugaku activated a soundproof barrier, ensuring that no word of their discussion would leak out.

"That damned Shimura Danzo dared to lead Root ninjas to attack the Guard Department!" The Great Elder, Uchiha Setsuna, slammed his hand on the table, his face livid with anger.

"Outrageous. He's becoming completely unscrupulous," Uchiha Tsukasa, the Third Elder, growled in agreement.

"It is indeed excessive," the Second Elder, Uchiha Mamoru, said, his brows furrowed deeply. The Guard Department was not just a workplace for the Uchiha clan but a symbol of their authority. Danzo's actions were tantamount to an attack on their very identity.

"This is the direct result of the Third Hokage's indulgence. His tolerance has allowed Danzo's Root to grow more reckless and unrestrained over the years," Setsuna said bitterly, his eyes flashing with resentment.

"Patriarch," he turned to Fugaku, "Danzo Shimura's audacity cannot go unanswered. We must respond decisively!"

"Of course, this matter will not be left unresolved," Fugaku replied with a calm yet firm tone, meeting Setsuna's gaze.

His next words were deliberate. "Not just Danzo Shimura. The Shimura family, along with the heads of other clans that consistently align with him to suppress the Uchiha clan, will all face consequences. None of them will be spared."

The elders exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of excitement and expectation. Fugaku's clear declaration resonated deeply within them. For years, they had chafed under the constraints of political maneuvering, waiting for an opportunity to retaliate against their oppressors.

"Chief, what are your plans?" Setsuna asked, his voice carrying a note of anticipation.

"I intend to dismantle Danzo Shimura's network of influence and eliminate his power base," Fugaku said, his words weighted with conviction.

The room fell silent as the three elders digested his statement. Finally, Setsuna broke the silence, his tone jubilant. "This is excellent news! This should have been done long ago. Rest assured, Chief, you will have my full support."

"I will also lend my support," Tsukasa added, his voice steady but brimming with determination.

Mamoru, though more cautious, nodded. "If this plan is more feasible than the earlier coup attempt, I will stand with you as well. I trust your leadership, Chief."

Fugaku acknowledged their agreement with a slight nod. "The first step of my plan involves eliminating the heads of clans that are most loyal to the Shimura family. These individuals not only support Danzo but also actively participate in suppressing the Uchiha clan. Their removal will send a clear message and weaken Danzo's foundation."

The elders listened attentively as Fugaku laid out the specifics.

"I will assume the guise of a Wood Release Bloodline ninja," he continued. "Their deaths, combined with the earlier losses of Aburame Shibi and Shimura Daisuke, will create the impression that a powerful Wood Release user is targeting the Shimura family. This perceived threat will force Danzo's allies to distance themselves from him, eroding his influence and leaving him vulnerable."

Tsukasa smirked. "Those clan heads have meddled in our affairs for far too long. Their removal will be a welcome change."

Mamoru, ever the pragmatist, voiced a concern. "While the idea is sound, these individuals rarely leave Konoha, fearing assassination. Eliminating them within the village would be exceedingly difficult, especially considering their elite jonin-level strength."

Setsuna nodded in agreement. "Indeed. Killing them quietly in the village poses significant challenges."

Fugaku's lips curled into a faint smile. "Leave that to me. My Mangekyō Sharingan has powers that allow me to bypass conventional restrictions. I can eliminate them quietly, even within Konoha's walls."

Though curious about the specifics of Fugaku's ocular powers, the elders tactfully refrained from pressing further. They trusted their leader to act with discretion.

"Once these individuals are dealt with, the second step will be to eliminate Shimura Danzo himself," Fugaku declared.

Mamoru's brows furrowed in concern. "Wouldn't it be too hasty to target Danzo directly? His Root organization and the Shimura family remain intact. Shouldn't we focus on dismantling them first?"

Fugaku shook his head. "The Shimura family is large and entrenched in Konoha's fabric. Eliminating them covertly would take too long. However, if we strike at Danzo, the Root will crumble without his leadership, and the Shimura family will lose its central figure."

Mamoru hesitated before nodding. "I see your point, but Danzo is a cautious man. He rarely leaves the Root base, which is heavily fortified. Even with your strength, taking him down there would be no small task."

"You're correct," Fugaku acknowledged. "Attacking Danzo within the Root base would be challenging. That's why I intend to draw him out. Today's confrontation was no accident—I deliberately escalated the conflict to provoke him. By angering him, I've ensured that he'll see me as a personal threat."

Setsuna's eyes lit up with understanding. "You're planning to use yourself as bait?"

"Precisely," Fugaku confirmed. "Danzo will likely seek to eliminate me himself. When he does, I will ensure the confrontation takes place outside the village, where I can eliminate him without interference."

Mamoru looked uneasy. "But Chief, this is a dangerous gamble. Danzo won't come alone. He'll bring elite Root members, and you could be outnumbered."

Fugaku's expression remained confident. "Danzo and his Root are formidable, but they are not on my level. Even if he brings his strongest operatives, they won't be able to kill me."

The elders exchanged glances, their respect for Fugaku growing. His confidence was not arrogance but the result of careful planning and immense power.

"I've gained strength far beyond what I once possessed," Fugaku continued. "With the Mangekyō Sharingan, the Eight Gates, Ice Release, and the Shikotsumyaku, I'm more than capable of handling anything Danzo throws at me. My only concern is ensuring that none of them escape."

The elders' expressions shifted from worry to awe. Though they had long respected Fugaku, they now realized just how far his power had grown.

"Then we will do everything in our power to support you, Chief," Setsuna said, his voice filled with conviction.

Mamoru and Tsukasa nodded in agreement. The Uchiha clan had waited long enough. Now was the time to reclaim their pride and secure their future.
