Naruto, The Perfect Shinobi

A week later, at the Hokage office;

"This better be argent, Sensei. I have an emergency Surgery to supervise, and Naruto already went to the hospital to prepare the patient." Tsunade said as she entered the office with a knock. 

She was getting ready to go to the hospital along with Naruto, but an Anbu appeared and informed her that she was needed in the Hokage's office. Seeing this, Naruto told her that he would be going to the hospital first and that he would wait for her there.

"It is important, Tsunade," Hiruzen replied, looking up from his paperwork.

"Out with it then, sensei," Tsuande said with an impatient huff.

"First of all, how are Naruto-kun and Mito-chan doing?" Hiruzen said, trying to lighten the mood as he reached into his drawer. Hearing his question, Tsunade's face brightened a bit.

"Naruto is doing fine, as you know, and little Mito just started walking about a week ago. She even said her first words yesterday." Tsunade said with a happy and proud tone.

Mito's first word was 'Nawu', trying to call her brother by his nickname, which made Naruto, who was playing with her at the time, very happy. After that, she called Tsunade 'mama' upon seeing her. Which made the woman extremely happy. Just talking about it made Tsunade lose her temper.

"That is good," Hiruzen replied with a tight smile as he pulled out a small book and offered it to Tsunade.

"What is this, Sensei?" Tsunade said with her tone shifting dramatically to a low, uncertain one. She knows the book all too well.

The bingo book. A small book containing the names of wanted Shinobi and criminals. Looking at the book, a look of confusion appeared on her face while a pit of dread formed in her stomach.

"This is the latest issue of the bingo book. Take it and open the first page in the new entries section." Hiruzen said with a blank tone.

Tsunade reached slowly for the offered book before taking it. She opened it slowly, as if she dreaded something, and looked at the page her Sensei had talked about. As she read the name of the person who was on the entry, her eyes widened in horror and dread.

(No picture) (A/N: Cameras are very rare in this time period, with only Shinobi registration in each village having one to take pictures of their own shinobi for registration. Pictures are added if a Hidden village added one of a traitor or defector in the bingo book, or if the filer had one, which is very rare."

High-level medical knowledge and Medical Jutsu. Highly intelligent. High chakra capacity. High level of Chakra control. Showed no Bloodline abilities.

Additional Notes: If encountered, approach with caution and with numbers, multiple Chunin or Jonin, as this individual was seen using Shadow clone jutsu with ease, indicating having a very large Chakra pool.

"This is...." Tsunade said quietly as she was speechless

"Naruto's entry in the bingo book," Hiruzen said with an even voice. He knew that his last student would make an appearance in the bingo book, but he didn't expect it would be so soon.

"Why?" Tsunade said in a small voice. Her eyes did not move away from the page that put a reward on her son's head.

"It is to be expected. Naruto had defeated the Nibi jinchuuriki in front of all the attendees in the Kumo arena, which they didn't share in the bingo book, seemingly fearing embarrassment. And you should remember how hungry Kumo is for bloodlines. It is a good thing that Naruto didn't show his Chakra chains or Bijuu chakra, or the bounty and rank would be higher. As for Kiri, it seems that the genin that Naruto fought has died from his injuries." Hiruzen said as he took out his smoking pipe before lighting it and inhaling the smoke.

"That damned muscle head of a Raikage. If Something happens to my son because of this bounty, I will turn that body that he is so proud of into a paste under my fists over and over again." Tsunade said with fury dripping from her voice as she gripped the book in her hands tightly.

"I wanted to tell you this so that you would be informed early from me and not from anywhere else, as this new bingo book issue has just arrived this morning. I also know that you would be reluctant to send your son outside the village for a mission, so as we discussed before, he would be joining the Anbu after little Mito's birthday in three weeks. Is that fine with you?" Hiruzen said, to which Tsunade gave a small nod without looking away from the book in her hands.

"That is all I wanted to tell you. You are free to go, and you can keep that book." Hiruzen said

Tsunade closed the book slowly before silently turning around and walking outside the office.

"She took that better than I expected," Hiruzen said as he returned to his paperwork.

Most, if not all, Shinobi would be happy to be added to the bingo book as they see it as a recognition of their might. But the dark part is that they are officially targeted by bounty hunters and other villages' shinobi. They are either captured or killed, and their bodies or heads are delivered to the highest bidder. So you should understand how a parent would feel if he/she found out that their child is actively being hunted.

An hour later, in the main operating room in the Konoha hospital;

"Scalpel," Naruto said to the nurse beside him. He has just finished disinfecting where he was going to cut.

In front of him is the operating table is a female Anbu operative who got gravely injured during a mission and was brought to the hospital this morning. Around Naruto, nurses moved around to perform their duties amidst the sounds of beeping and humming of the medical equipment.

All those present wore scrubs, a surgical mask, a cap, and shoe covers. Over the scrubs, they may also wear a sterile surgical gown and a waterproof apron. Even Tsunade, who stood slightly to the side as she supervised what Naruto was doing, wore them.

"Here you go, Naruto-san." Said the assisting nurse as she handed Naruto the scalpel.

Even though he can make one chakra, that would be ideal. Due to the number of injuries and how extensive they are, the medical team may need to spend hours on this injured Kunoichi.

"Thank you," Naruto said as he took the scalpel and made the first incision with many to come. 

"So, what did sensei want?" Naruto said as he cut through several layers of skin and muscle.

Tsunade kept looking at what Naruto was doing without saying anything, making Naruto assume that it was something he shouldn't know about.

"Forceps," Naruto said a he put the scalpel on a tray beside him.

The assisting nurse handed him the forceps, which Naruto used to extract wood and metal bits from the Kunoichi's body. There are several wounds like that on her body that have several forging objects embedded in them that required careful extraction before closing the wound.

"You have been added to the bingo book," Tsunade said with a blank tone that has a slight emotional edge.

Hearing that, Naruto's hand that held the forceps stopped for a brief moment before he continued his work. As for the nurses, they stopped what they were doing upon hearing the news and looked at Naruto with different thoughts in their heads.

An eight-year-old boy has a bounty on his head. What did he do to accomplish this?

"What rank?" Naruto asked as he took out one foreign object after the other.

"High B-rank," Tsunade replied, making Naruto hum.

"Eyes on the patient. Clean the inside of the wound and hand me Sutures." Naruto said to the nurses, taking them out of their thoughts, and started doing what he asked for.

"Did you get the new bingo book?" Naruto asked as he was handed the Sutures from the assisting nurse while another cleaned the open wound with clean cotton.

"Yes. Sensei gave it to me." Tsunade said as Naruto closed the wound.

"Good. I want to see my entry, but this isn't the time. Next injury." Naruto said as he finished the first wound and moved to the others.

After that, the surgery continued for about 5 hours due to home many injuries that Kunoichi had. Foreign objects were impeded in her body along with torn muscles, internal bleeding, and injured internal organs. It was a miracle that she was brought to the hospital alive. 

Hours later, in the private ICU recovery ward.

Naruto stood next to his most recent patient, taking readings from the hospital equipment, writing notes, and adjusting the fluids that were entering the unconscious Kunoichi.

The Kunoichi on the bed can be mistaken for a mummy as she was wrapped in bandages from head to toe. Only her eyes, mouth, and nose were exposed, with a tube going in her mouth to help her breathe.

That was how badly she was injured and how lucky she is to survive. Surviving such injuries on the field and being able to get back home for treatment is a feat that many other ninjas aren't lucky enough to accomplish.

Suddenly, the door to the ward opened and three masked individuals entered, making Naruto's eyes Naruto as he turned around to look at them while his hands stopped writing notes.

"What are you doing here? This place is off limits for anyone unauthorized, and visitors are allowed." Naruto said as he looked at the Anbu operatives.

"We are sorry to enter in such a manner, but we need to know the condition of my subordinate. Can we talk to the doctor who operated on her?" Said the Anbu with a tiger mask.

"You are looking at him," Naruto said with an even tone.

To say the Anbu operatives were surprised would be an understatement.

"What? You? How can you be the lead doctor?" an Anbu with a sparrow mask said with this tone that is filled with utter disbelief. 

"Quiet down." The Tiger masked Anbu ordered his subordinate to shut up.

The tiger-masked Anbu looked back at Naruto, carefully taking in his attire consisting of a doctor's coat that almost covered the Chunin vest that lay underneath and hospital identification that sat visibly out of Naruto's coat chest pocket.

"Please don't mind him. Can you tell me what is mouse's condition is?" The tiger-masked Anbu asked

"So her code name is Mouse, huh?" Naruto said to himself before writing it down on his notes, and then looked back at the Anbu. 

"We will talk outside. You aren't allowed here without permission." Naruto said as he put the patient's notes at the foot of the bed.

The Anbu team looked at each other for a second before moving out of the room, with Naruto following closely behind. As they exited the room, Naruto closed the door before turning towards the Anbu team.

"You should know that this is the ICU, right? No one except certain hospital personnel is allowed here." Naruto said with narrow eyes. Making the two Anbu subordinates look like they want to say something.

"We apologize for that, but we are quite anxious to know Mouse's condition. She didn't look good when we brought her in," The Tiger masked Anbu said, making his subordinates stop.

"Well, she was in a bad shape when she was brought in, but don't worry, she is out of danger. She will need a week to recover and then two to three weeks of rehabilitation. And if everything goes well, I will clear her to return to active duty." Naruto said, making the Anbu team let out a sigh of relief.

"That is great to hear. Thank you." The tiger-masked Anbu said

"Don't mention it. As for visitation, it is off-limits for now until she wakes up, so come back to check in a day or two." Naruto said, making the Anbu leader nod

"That is fine. And again, thank you." The Tiger masked Anbu said before bowing ever so slightly to Naruto, before he and his team turned around and left.

"That was a bit easy to deal with," Naruto muttered to himself as he watched the team leave. Usually, dealing with Anbu teams isn't easy, especially when things don't go their way.

Now, since Naruto finished his work, he had enough time to go and check his Bingo book entry. He is a bit intrigued to see what is written in it.
