Chapter 82: Chapter 82: Finally Reaching Thirty
Gin compressed the Chidori into a fine needle, a technique inspired by Sasuke's Chidori Stream.
Chidori Stream: Acupoint Breaker! He thrust the energy-packed needle at the woman's collarbone. Her shocked expression faded as the Chidori pierced, sending her convulsing to the ground. Her half-cast secret technique fizzled, and a rippling portal claimed her.
Deactivating his pseudo-Byakugan, Gin felt his energy replenish instantly, nodding in satisfaction at his efficiency.
"Backyard daily random skill refresh: [Yin Seal]. Obtained Yin Seal…"
[Yin Seal: S-rank medical sealing technique. Forms a diamond mark on the forehead, finely tuning chakra for instant healing, enhanced attacks, and increased speed. Skilled users can maintain youth and peak physical condition via low-output chakra from the Strength of a Hundred Seal.]
Note: Only females can learn, except the host.
This skill?! Overjoyed, Gin clicked to learn. A flood of Yin Seal knowledge filled his mind. He circulated chakra, and a diamond mark appeared on his forehead—deep purple, nearly black, tinged red.
Returning to his mansion, a Wood Release creation still pristine after six years, Gin pushed open the door. A busy figure moved inside. "Tobirama, what's for dinner?"
"Fish, what else?" Tobirama, engrossed, replied irritably.
"Such attitude!" Gin feigned anger, cracking his knuckles.
"Eat or get lost!" Tobirama shot back, unfazed.
"Off to wash my hands." Gin's knuckle-cracking was just prep—no real threat.
At the dining table, watching Tobirama bustle in the kitchen, Gin felt a quiet pride. Six years, and the kid had grown into his own, a kitchen master.
"Sugar-vinegar fish, curly-haired baboon," eleven-year-old Tobirama said, serving a glossy dish in a custom apron.
Gin popped a piece in his mouth, savoring it. "Not bad, seven-tenths my skill."
Tobirama, removing his apron, rolled his eyes at the blatant lie.
Glancing at the once-scrawny kid, Gin noted Tobirama's growth spurt—tall, lean, almost frail. His black-and-white hair, now dyed pure black, draped over pale shoulders, his round face now sharp, a delicate pretty boy.
"Eat more, you're all skin and bones. Boys need muscle to be popular," Gin advised, plopping a fish piece onto Tobirama's plate with saliva-coated chopsticks.
"You, a thirty-year-old who's never touched a woman, lecturing me?" Tobirama snapped, turning away, teeth gritted, exposing Gin's sore spot.
"I was busy raising you! Otherwise, I'd be with [REDACTED]!" Gin jumped, eyes darting, weakly retorting.
"Heh." Tobirama sneered.
Knock, knock, knock! Urgent raps saved Gin's dignity. He opened the door to two striking young men, ushering them in warmly.
"Madara, Izuna, long time no see. What's up?"
The visitors were twenty-year-old Uchiha Madara and sixteen-year-old Uchiha Izuna. Their youthful charm had matured into the Uchiha's signature cold arrogance, but seeing Gin, their icy facades melted into warm smiles.
"Cousin, forgot what today is?" Izuna, now 5'7" and resembling Shippuden's Sasuke, grinned, his earlier chill gone—a true boy-next-door.
"What day?" Gin blinked, glancing at the calendar. "Singles' Day?"
"Your wedding day!" Izuna teased, exasperated.
Sure, he was single, but that was no celebration. Years of grinding system dailies—dungeon fights by day, backyard sweeps by night—left no room for romance. No women, no distractions, just pure fragment farming.
"Your birthday," Madara clarified, exasperated.
At twenty, Madara carried the aura of the future Ninja World Asura. Awakened Sharingan years ago, Tajima groomed him for battlefields, turning the once-goofy kid into a stoic, cold heartthrob. Gin mourned the loss of his quirky cousin.
"Birthday? Slipped my mind." Gin smacked his forehead, too busy grinding to remember. Thanks to his cousins, his milestone thirtieth wouldn't pass unnoticed.
"Haha, my gift." Izuna, beaming, pulled a small package from behind, handing it to Gin. "Spoils from the Akimichi. They say this drug makes things bigger. Figured you'd need it."
Leaning close, Izuna whispered with a sly grin, patting Gin's shoulder, no thanks needed.
"I—!" Gin swallowed a curse. Izuna was young, easily duped. Time to step up his moral education.
"No, no…" After feigned refusal, Gin pocketed the "secret drug," vowing to destroy it privately to prove his innocence.
"My turn." Madara, usually taciturn except for battle-fueled outbursts, softened, presenting a weapon. "Taken from a Land of Iron samurai. Pure chakra metal, highly conductive."
Gin's eyes lit up. The sword's design echoed ancient blades from his past life, sparking familiarity. He accepted it gleefully, unable to put it down.
"Come, eat!" Gin ushered them to the dining room, yelling to Tobirama, "Izuna's here! Two more sets of chopsticks!"
Izuna, noticing Madara's frown, whispered, "Cousin, how long you keeping this kid around?"
