Naruto: The Favorability-Devouring Uchiha

Chapter 14: CHAPTER 14

"Okay, Brother Fugaku. If I have any questions, I'll definitely come to you. Please don't think it's a bother."

Haneda stuck out his tongue and grinned innocently.

A little preemptive groundwork… makes dropping by next time much easier, he thought slyly.

Of course, if an average person tried that, they'd probably get brushed off. But when you were a cute little Uchiha prodigy? Different rules applied.

(So, handsome readers—don't try this in real life.)

"Alright, alright," Fugaku said flatly, glancing toward the sunset. It sounded like trouble, but with his father standing there, he had no room to refuse.

When Haneda's figure finally disappeared down the road, the clan head turned and started back toward the compound with his son.

"What do you think of Haneda?" the patriarch asked slowly.

"A very talented clan member… and kind of cute," Fugaku replied honestly.

"Replace 'clan member' with 'younger brother.' He awakened the Sharingan at four. That level of talent is exceptional, even in Uchiha history."

The patriarch's voice lowered, taking on a subtle edge.

"And don't underestimate him, Fugaku. For a child, his performance is impressive—but performances always have gaps. He's clever, ambitious… and he likes you."

For some reason, Haneda's cheerful smile flashed through Fugaku's mind.

"Yes… is that so, Father?"

Haneda's Home

Haneda slid his shoes neatly onto the rack and called out by habit, "I'm home~"

Silence. No answer—as usual. But he was used to it.

Heading straight for his desk, he unrolled the scroll he'd received earlier. Elegant script filled the parchment, accompanied by tiny notes in the margin—insights from the shinobi who had once mastered this technique.

Shadow Clone Technique

Created by Senju Tobirama, the Nidaime Hokage—a man notorious among Uchiha for his ruthless pragmatism. Unlike ordinary illusions, these clones possessed physical form and independent will.

The drawback? They split the user's chakra evenly. Without sufficient reserves, the clones would collapse at the slightest touch. Forget combat—they wouldn't survive basic drills.

Haneda muttered under his breath, "So… if I've got about one card of chakra, how many can I make?"

He summoned his interface with a thought. A soft blue screen shimmered into existence:

[Uchiha Haneda]

Strength: Chūnin (13/100)

Chakra: 1.3 cards | Nature: Fire, Wind, Lightning, Yin

Bloodline Limits:

• Sharingan (1 Tomoe) | Progress to 3 Tomoe: 73%

• Sage Body (Dormant) | Primary Stage: 76%

Special Ability: None

"1.3 cards. Not bad…" Haneda smirked.

"With this, I can probably sustain three… maybe four clones for training. The question is—can my mind handle it?"

He skimmed the panel again and grinned wider.

"Chūnin-level stats at five years old? Yeah… I'll take that. And the Sage Body and Sharingan are close to full sync. Mangekyō next… What'll my ability be, I wonder?"

He paused, eyes distant.

The Sharingan mirrors the soul. Your eye technique reflects your obsession.

What was his obsession? Power? Survival? Changing fate?

Shaking the thought aside, he refocused on the scroll.

"Shadow Clone first. Then… Chidori drills. The system gives me the blueprint, but mastery? That's on me."

His plan was simple:

Learn Shadow Clone → Use clones to grind Chidori → Profit.

Experience sharing was the real jackpot. If he could split his training across multiple bodies, progress would skyrocket.

Meanwhile, Deep in the Forest of Death…

In an underground chamber, Danzo Shimura sat on a stone dais. Three masked ANBU knelt before him, their reports spilling into the dim air.

"Lord Danzo," one intoned, "Uchiha Haneda visited the clan head last night. Spent considerable time with Uchiha Fugaku. The two appear close."

Danzo's single visible eye narrowed.

"And Sakumo?"

A fox-masked operative answered immediately:

"Hatake Sakumo and Kakashi dined at Yakiniku Q around 8 p.m. The White Fang drank heavily—but unlike before, he no longer seems burdened by villagers' whispers."

Danzo's fingers drummed against the stone armrest.

"So… he's recovering." A shadow of irritation flickered across his face.

Then, quietly, he gave his order:

"End the rumors. Tonight. By dawn, not a single insult against Sakumo remains in this village."

The ANBU nodded in unison.

Danzo's voice dropped lower, colder.

"And Uchiha Haneda…" He turned his gaze toward the pitch-black corridor leading to the surface.

"For the sake of Konoha—this child will belong to Root."

His words echoed like a verdict.

"Maintain surveillance. Do not engage. Not yet."

"Yes, Lord Danzo."

As they vanished, Danzo remained seated, the darkness swallowing him whole.

"Hiruzen… Sensei… I'll prove I was right all along."

His single eye gleamed.

"I am the one who should be Hokage."

The Next Morning

Sunlight spilled over the rooftops as Haneda scarfed down breakfast and set off for the Academy. No waiting for Obito today—the idiot's route was a detour from hell.

Sliding the classroom door open, Haneda scanned the rows. No Obito—as expected. But Kakashi was already there, reading.

Noticing Haneda, Kakashi looked up, tilted his book slightly, and—shockingly—smiled. He even lowered his mask for a moment.

"Morning, Haneda."

For half a second, Haneda froze. Did… Kakashi just smile?

Recovering, he grinned back. "Morning, Kakashi."

He strolled to his seat, eyeing the textbook in Kakashi's hands. The cover read: Sixth Year Curriculum.

"Kakashi, why are you reading senior-grade material? You're only a first-year."

Kakashi lowered the book and tugged his mask back up, his gaze steady and calm.

"I'm used to it. I was planning to graduate this year."

Haneda blinked. "Graduate… early?!"

Kakashi nodded once, expression unreadable.

"That's the plan."
