Was it Kushina who took the lead, or was it the Nine Tails?

Seeing Kushina's eyes starting to change, Shinki felt that something was a little off. He shouted quickly:

"Kushina, the barbecue is gone, your breakfast is gone, you're going to starve!"

Kushina's fox-shaped eyes froze in place for a moment. When she looked down, a mouthful of frustration almost escaped her lips.

"Ahhhhh! No! My barbecue!"

Under Shinki's teasing, Kushina's anger surged even more. However, as her fury increased, the Nine-Tails' chakra began to diminish. Her eyes gradually reverted to normal, and a golden aura formed a protective shield around her entire body.

At this moment, is someone still causing trouble?

Kushina shot a glare at Shinki. Before Tsunade could even offer an explanation, Kushina lunged forward.

The two sisters immediately began sparring.

In the sealed space, the Nine-Tails was laughing uncontrollably, claws on its hips.

"Hahaha! It worked! My Kushina did it! Nine Tails is the best teacher!"

Meanwhile, the entire village was left in confusion.

In the Hokage's office, the Third Hokage, who had been debating whether to go home for some rest, suddenly stood up.

"That's… the Nine-Tails' chakra," he muttered in alarm.

Was the Nine-Tails going berserk?

Forgetting all about sleep, he leapt out of the window and rushed towards Shinki's home, followed by a squad of ninja.

The Nine-Tails had been quiet for years, but as the strongest tailed beast, a rampage could spell disaster for Konoha.

Suddenly, the silhouette of the Nine-Tails briefly appeared in the sky, its chakra flaring and then disappearing. Everyone's hearts froze.

Groups of ninjas scrambled to the scene.

The Third Hokage was among the first to arrive, only to find Shinki calmly standing on the roof with a toothbrush and a glass of water in his hands.

"????"

Since when could someone brush their teeth in the middle of a crisis?

"Shinki, the situation—"

The Hokage's words trailed off as he saw what was happening.

There was no Nine-Tails rampage.

Instead, Kushina and Tsunade were engaged in an intense fight. Kushina, empowered by the Nine-Tails' chakra, was chasing Tsunade while yelling about her ruined barbecue.

The onlookers were baffled.

As more ninjas arrived, they turned to Shinki for an explanation.

Shinki, unbothered, waved his toothbrush dismissively.

"Alright, disperse. ANBU and the Police Department, maintain order. The rest of you, go home before anyone gets hurt."

Koharu Utatane, one of the village's elders, wasn't satisfied with Shinki's lack of explanation.

"Shinki, what is going on? The village deserves answers!"

"Explain to your mother!" Shinki snapped back, his patience gone. "Get out of my sight!"

A surge of green chakra extended from his hand, delivering a forceful slap that sent Koharu flying through the air.

She crashed through two houses before finally coming to a stop.

The crowd gasped.

The elder was one of the Hokage's advisors! And the one who struck her was none other than the ANBU commander.

The Hokage was stunned but chose to stay silent as Shinki turned to address the remaining onlookers.

"ANBU, Police Department—disperse everyone. The show's over!"

With the crowd gone, Shinki finally explained, "Relax. The Nine-Tails didn't go berserk. This is actually a good thing for the village."

"A good thing?"

Shikashin Nara, who had worked alongside Shinki for years, was the first to understand.

"Kushina has mastered the Nine-Tails' power?"

"Exactly," Shinki confirmed.

Meanwhile, the battle continued.

Kushina, now brimming with chakra, was relentless. Tsunade, though powerful, was on the defensive. After landing a particularly hard punch, she muttered under her breath:

"This brat's impossible to deal with now that she's tapping into the Nine-Tails. And this is just her first attempt at using this power…"

She looked at Kushina, who was still shouting, "You owe me for the barbecue! I can't train on an empty stomach!"

In the sealed space, the Nine-Tails facepalmed.

"This is so embarrassing… All that power, and it's being used to demand barbecue?"

Shinki clapped his hands, breaking the awkward silence.

"Kushina, congratulations!"

Nara Shikashin joined in, followed by the Hokage and others, applauding Kushina's achievement.

"Congratulations? For me?" Kushina asked, still focused on her barbecue woes.

As her anger faded, Kushina glanced around and saw the damage she'd caused. Her house, along with several others, was in ruins.

"My house… it's gone," she wailed.

Tsunade burst into laughter, more amused than angry.

Shinki sighed, shaking his head.

"She still has some growing up to do," he muttered.

Despite the chaos, Kushina's mastery over the Nine-Tails was a momentous achievement. Rebuilding homes was a minor inconvenience compared to what this new power meant for Konoha's future.
