Of course, while the Byakugan excelled in observation, it fell short in combat compared to the Sharingan.

Thus, the Byakugan and Sharingan each had their own merits.

Lastly, Shishou discovered that his Byakugan, like the Sharingan and Rinnegan, could be concealed at will, unlike the constant white eyes of the Hyuga clan.

This discovery greatly pleased Shishou.

Though he had no fear of the Hyuga clan, avoiding unnecessary trouble was always preferable.

Otherwise, he'd have to resort to using colored contact lenses whenever operating under the guise of Oil Woman Shishou.

Perhaps due to awakening Hamura's bloodline power, Shishou noticed his Byakugan had a faint purple hue, similar to Hinata and Hanabi's special Byakugan capable of awakening the Tenseigan.

This revelation excited Shishou.

It implied that as long as he continued to awaken Hamura's bloodline power, he could directly awaken the Tenseigan.

If Shishou fully awakened Hamura's bloodline, he would naturally awaken the Tenseigan.

He found opportunities to borrow tailed beast chakra from the Jinchuriki and met with Hana secretly at night.

Or he traveled across the ninja world, practicing the Flying Thunder God technique or training in sage arts.

In this mundane yet fulfilling life, over a month passed quickly.

Until Sasuke returned to the village.

At dawn.

At Shishou's doorstep.

"Shishou, come out! I challenge you!!!"

Uchiha Sasuke stood confidently at Shishou's door, shouting.

After killing Itachi, Sasuke didn't return immediately but instead took on missions and investigated the whereabouts of Uchiha Madara.

After stalling for a month or two, he finally returned to Konoha.

Because Shishou hadn't told Sasuke about the involvement of the Third Hokage and Danzo in the Uchiha massacre, Sasuke still felt a strong sense of belonging to Konoha.

After all, the older Uchiha sister who guided his training was someone Fifth Hokage Tsunade had found for him.

Sasuke had always remembered this.

Hearing Sasuke's shouts, Shishou reluctantly got out of bed.

"It's alright, I'll go deal with him."

He reassured Inuzuka Hana beside him and got out of bed to dress.

Since Hana didn't want to expose their relationship, Shishou had no choice but to help her maintain the facade.

"Okay," Hana nodded and hid under Shishou's blanket.

Leaving the bedroom and reaching the entrance, Shishou opened the door.

"What's the matter?"

Sasuke, brimming with excitement, declared, "I challenge you!"

For years, he had been beaten by Shishou. Now, having awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan and gained powerful abilities, he wouldn't miss the chance to redeem himself.

Not only Shishou, but even Ringo Ameyuri in the Konoha hospital wouldn't be spared by Sasuke.

Afterward, he would challenge Shino, Neji, and Naruto.

He wanted to prove with his strength that he, Sasuke, was the strongest among Konoha's younger generation.

Seeing Sasuke still so full of youthful arrogance even after avenging his clan, Shishou sighed.

Well, at least this version of Sasuke, despite his arrogance, lived a much happier life than in the original timeline.

He had friends, teammates, goals, and an older sister to guide him, which was enough. There was no need for him to become as bitter and hated as in the original story.

Of course, it would be better if he didn't come to bother Shishou.

After some thought, Shishou said:

"If you can defeat Naruto, Shino, and Ringo Ameyuri, I'll accept your challenge."

If Sasuke could indeed defeat Naruto and the others, then Shishou would teach him a lesson, reminding him that there's always someone stronger, always a higher authority.

"Deal!"

Without hesitation, Sasuke agreed and immediately ran off to find Naruto, intending to defeat the weakest one first.
