Naruto: Starting With Three Tomoe Sharingan, Girlfriend Kushina

Chapter 73 Plans Cannot Keep Up With Changes

A short time later.

A group of fierce looking bandits swaggered into the entrance of the small village.

"Everyone attack."

A Taki-nin jonin named Manjiro waved his hand. Two chunin, six genin, plus a small group of bandits aggressively charged into the village.

Orochimaru who was hiding in the shadows frowned deeply after seeing this lineup.

Two or three missing nin was one thing, but this group of missing nin was almost organized into a unit. Orochimaru had every reason to suspect Takigakure deliberately sent them to the Land of Fire to rob and make money.

As long as there was money to be made, ninja would dare to do any dirty job, and they had no sense of morality.

Soon, screams and the sounds of fighting erupted in the village.

Orochimaru had not warned the villagers here to leave beforehand because he was afraid of alerting the enemy. So when the bandits entered the village, casualties became unavoidable.

However Orochimaru did not delay much longer. After confirming the number of enemy ninja and determining he could handle them, he decisively appeared.

"Ninja Art. Hidden Shadow Snake Hands."

Orochimaru who was hiding in the shadows suddenly attacked, his arm transforming into several poisonous snakes that fiercely pounced toward Manjiro and one chunin.

"Ambush."

Manjiro shouted and quickly retreated with Body Flicker. The other chunin was not fast enough to dodge and was instantly bitten on the throat by the snakes, dying on the spot.

Orochimaru's attack was swift and ruthless, killing one chunin in one strike.

"It's a jonin. Retreat immediately."

Manjiro loudly signaled his teammates to decisively withdraw.

Their goal was very clear, to come to the Land of Fire to make money. Once they discovered Konoha ninja, no matter the opponent's strength, they would immediately retreat and absolutely not fight.

"Haha. Can you escape."

Orochimaru coldly laughed. As he spoke, two shadow clones appeared at the village entrance, blocking the enemy's retreat.

"You all retreat first. I will cover you."

Manjiro quickly issued the order, then decisively charged toward the shadow clones.

Seeing this, Orochimaru frowned even deeper.

They even know to cover their subordinates' retreat. Since when are missing nin so righteous.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh.

Before escaping, the Taki missing nin threw several explosive kunai at Orochimaru.

The loud explosions immediately resounded through the sky.

After several big explosions, Orochimaru's voice rang out from within the smoke and dust.

"Nawaki, Ryun, those genin are left to you."

As he spoke, the two youths immediately jumped down from the trees.

Originally Orochimaru planned to handle this mission himself and have the two observe. But the number of missing nin exceeded his expectations. The plan changed, so he decided to let the two youngsters try fighting.

"Remember, fight if you can, otherwise delay them."

After saying this, Orochimaru immediately engaged in battle with the Taki jonin.

"Yes."

The two youths responded and quickly chased after the fleeing Taki-nin.

Orochimaru's real body was fighting the Taki jonin. One shadow clone was suppressing one chunin. Another shadow clone secretly followed behind the two youths as a precaution.

"Nawaki, don't charge too fast. Pay more attention to your footing."

Ryun instinctively kept some distance from him and could not help but warn him.

Although in the original work Nawaki did not seem to die in a place like this, he could not guarantee there would be no deviations.

This current scene plus Nawaki recklessly chasing with his head down. It would not be strange if he really stepped on an explosive tag trap.

Ryun watched with his scalp tingling and eyelids twitching, actively keeping far away from him.

"Don't dawdle. Any later and they will escape."

Nawaki would not listen to advice from an elementary school student.

Although he was only a genin in rank, ordinary chunin might not be his match. Ryun was just a student who had not graduated yet. By protocol he should follow Nawaki's orders, not tell Nawaki what to do.

"I know. Anyway, staying calm and careful is definitely not wrong. Especially since the enemy may have set up delaying traps."

Ryun urgently spoke. There was not much he could say. Warning to this extent was already the limit. If Nawaki really could not be saved then there was nothing he could do.

"There are many enemies. I may not be able to protect you. Be careful yourself."

Nawaki loudly shouted. These words were a reminder, not refuting Ryun's earlier words, because they had already caught up to the Taki genin.

Nawaki first threw an explosive tag kunai.

With a loud explosion, the scene immediately became very chaotic.

Ryun took out four shuriken from his tool pouch and without thinking threw them at the target genin.

One genin was startled by the incoming weapons. Raising his kunai, he knocked away three shuriken. The last one firmly embedded into his chest, making him cry out in pain.

Ryun's attack quickly attracted another genin's attention.

Seeing his young age and lack of a forehead protector, anger rose in his heart. He stopped to kill this little brat first before escaping.

"Damn it. Even random kids dare block our path."

The Taki genin spoke while throwing his kunai straight at Ryun's head.

Clang.

Ryun raised his kunai and swung forward. The incoming kunai was easily knocked to the ground.

Seeing this, the Taki genin's expression drastically changed, realizing this brat was not to be underestimated.

Ryun reached into his tool pouch again, gripping two kunai in each hand, then powerfully threw them, simultaneously attacking two target genin.

His movements were clean and efficient without any hesitation, clearly showing he was an expert in throwing techniques.

The Taki genin raised his hand to block the incoming kunai. But to his shock, just as he was about to act, another kunai arrived first at even greater speed.

"What."

The later kunai accurately hit the first kunai, instantly changing both kunai's trajectories. Without extremely sharp insight, defending against this attack was not easy.

The Taki genin only managed to block the kunai aimed at his vitals. The other kunai successfully stabbed his shoulder.

Fortunately this collision based throwing technique relied on unpredictability. Most of the force was dissipated in the collision, so this kunai did not cause much damage.

It only drew some blood without injuring the bone.

However while he was relatively fine, the other genin was not so lucky.

That person had already been hit in the chest by Ryun's shuriken. Facing the Uchiha kunai throwing technique, he failed to dodge and died on the spot. One kunai accurately pierced his throat.

"Bastard."

Seeing a comrade die, the Taki genin's eyes turned red. Gripping his kunai, he directly charged at Ryun.

This brat's throwing skills were too strong. He could not let him keep attacking from range.

He believed once in close combat, he could kill this little beast with one strike.
