Naruto: Senju Rebirth

January year 66 of Konoha.

Konoha was now fully ready to intercept the Akatsuki. They didn't barge into Amegakure because they were made aware that Konan had 600 billion explosive tags so they didn't dare to infiltrate since a cornered beast would bite. Although they could use Naruto's FTG to escape in case of something happening.

Also, Akatsuki was still known as a mercenary organization so attacking a ninja village to snuff them would cause diplomatic issues that could spark the fourth great ninja war.

All they could do now was wait for the Akatsuki to take action and counterattack once they did.

Tetsuya was now fully prepared but the only proplem was that he didn't know when the Akatsuki would strike since Naruto didn't go out with Jiraya so he didn't have any timeframe as to when the Akatsuki would attack Gaara. He just knew that it would be sometime this year.

As Tetsuya was walking around konoha, he saw Temari and Shikamaru together and soon enough, memories came back to him that the attack on Gaara happened shortly after Temari and Shikamaru was seen by Naruto who just came back from training.

He immediately went to Tsunade and asked to dispatch his old team to Sunagakure since it should be time for the Akatsuki to move.

Although Tetsuya's claim was just a speculation, Tsunade accepted to deploy them since Tetsuya was mostly idle these days due to Shizune being pregnant and Tetsuya just staying at home caring for her needs.

Team 7 was then dispatched to Sunagakure during the same day.

Thanks to Naruto already putting FTG marks along the way to sunagakure beforehand under Tetsuya's orders, they were able to arrive within half day.

As they arrived to the outskirts of Sunagakure, they were soon greeted by Kankuro. After a private discussion with Kankuro, they went to meet with Gaara and he was made aware that the Akatsuki would attack him anytime soon.

Tetsuya and his team were then disguised as Suna ninjas and patrolling outside the village.

only a day passed and soon enough, two figures wearing a black cloak with red cloud patterns showed up.

Seeing the short one, Tetsuya immediately knew that it was Sasori in his puppet and the other must be Deidara.

Tetsuya then saw one of the suna ninja making suspicious movements so he ordered Karin to restrain him immediately with the Adamantine sealing chains. Although the other guards were quite startled by Tetsuya's actions, he told them that he felt murderous intent from him so he restrained him for now.

After hearing that the guy's name was Yura, he finally remembered that it was one of Sasori's spies.

Tetsuya immediately gave order to Sasuke and Naruto. Sasuke would take Deidara since Deidara's weakness was lightning and Naruto would take on Sasori. Karin and Tetsuya would hang in the back in case something unexpected happened.

Naruto and Sasuke immediately stopped the two in their tracks while still disguised.

They tried to tentatively strike a conversation asking why they came to Sunagakure but Sasori immediately attacked the two of them with the tail of his puppet.

The both of them were able to dodge the attack with ease. Sasuke activated his Mangekyou.

Deidara who saw the Mangekyou was shocked and unfortunately for him, he got caught in a genjutsu almost immediately as watched looked at Sasuke directly in the eyes.

Although Deidara trained his eyes to resist the sharingan, he was completely caught by surprise and also, the mangekyou was on a whole other level so he couldn't do anything.

Sasuke then slashed him with his sword, killing him even before he could say or do anything.

Sasori who saw Deidara got killed snorted and tried to flee immediately but Naruto used a big rasengan to destroy the Hiruko puppet.

Soon enough, Sasori's "real" body made its appearance.

Sasuke then approached Naruto and bragged about how he was the first to kill his opponent. Naruto was then pissed off and made some cheap excuses about how anybody could've won using a surprise attack.

Sasori who saw the two of them arguing without even caring for him became angry and summoned the Third Kazekage puppet and immediately used the iron sand drizzle to attack so Naruto used a giant arm made of Kurama' chakra to block while Sasuke used the Susanoo while retreating since it was Naruto's fight.

Sasori got desperate after seeing that his attack didn't remotely faze them so he tried to run away again but unfortunately for him, Naruto restrained him and his Third kazekage puppet with one golden arm each.

Both puppets were easily crushed by Naruto.

Shortly after, Tetsuya finally approached them.

Nice. That was easy. With these two around, I can finally slack off and leave all the fighting to them.

After looking around, Tetsuya saw that Sasori's core was still intact probably playing dead while waiting for a white zetsu to recover him.

Tetsuya then decided to take the Akatsuki rings since it may prove useful in the near future.

Naruto also sensed a White Zetsu nearby so he proceeded to attack it without saying anything and brought back the corpse.

Gaara and Kankuro finally arrived after hearing the commotion

After explaining the identities of Akatsuki members present shortly, Gaara thanked them and Tetsuya gave him Sasori's core who was on the ground.

A few days later,

The Sunagakure council made its decision and decided to execute Sasori since he killed the third kazekage. Although Chiyo tried to convince them that she would reform Sasori and bring him back to the right path, the council didn't want to hear any of that so Sasori's core was destroyed, killing him for good.

Yura and Sasori's other spies were also caught but they weren't executed thanks to Gaara's leniency as there were sign of brainwashing on them.

As Tetsuya was relaxing in his hotel room alone since Naruto went to chat with Gaara while Sasuke and Karin were on a date, he suddenly felt a chakra from the ring he stole so he decided to pour his chakra into it.

He then found himself as a projection, on top of one of the Gedo Statue's finger with all of the remaining Akatsuki members.
