NARUTO: SECOND GOD OF SHINOBI

Chapter 88: CHAPTER 88

(A/N: I was reading an interesting novel, and didn't have the time to write a chapter at all, but that novel gave me some interesting ideas that I can implement here, So I am really sorry to everyone.)

As the negotiation progressed, Hiruzen's mind wandered, calculating the risks and outcomes of his next move.

The idea of capturing three Kage and their Jinchuriki presented an opportunity to significantly strengthen Konoha, reducing the likelihood of future wars.

However, the shadow of a looming threat still haunted him: Madara Uchiha.

Reports from Uzushiogakure hinted that Madara was still watching, quietly weaving his plans.

Two or three Uzumaki families had fled their village before the invasion, and Hiruzen suspected that one of these families carried Nagato, a child destined to bear the Rinnegan.

Others, however, had been slaughtered on the road by Zetsu and Madara's machinations.

Hiruzen mulled over the timeline. If his assumptions were correct, Madara was in his early sixties—an age well beyond his prime, his body riddled with the toll of injuries sustained in battle.

He was on the verge of death, just like the First Hokage before him. Yet, Hiruzen wasn't entirely certain whether Madara had already transplanted the Rinnegan into the boy.

What troubled him even more was the potential interference of the Sage of Six Paths. Such divine intervention could shift the balance of power dramatically.

Still, deep within Hiruzen stirred a defiant resolve. The weight of destiny and divine schemes could no longer dictate his path.

"To hell with the Sage, with Madara, and even with Kaguya," he thought. "If this world's fate is written, then so be it—but I'll ensure Konoha is unmatched before that day comes."

A chilling clarity settled over him. The decision had been made. With a sudden motion, Hiruzen summoned a chakra blade purely made of chakra. Its edge shimmered with lethal intent as it sliced through the air.

SWOOSH! THUD! THUD!

Yet, the plan didn't unfold as seamlessly as Hiruzen had hoped. Only Akatsuchi and Fuzan Hozuki fell victim to the strike.

Dodai and three elite Kage-level ANBU commanders substituted themselves with clones in the last moment, retreating with alarm etched into their expressions.

Dodai's voice trembled with rage. "Hokage! How dare you! Do you truly intend to kill us? You'll sever every future bridge between our villages. Be prepared for war!"

Hiruzen remained unfazed. He stood, his expression unreadable, as he raised a single finger.

Drawing signs with pure chakra in the air, his movements were deliberate, fluid, and mesmerizing.

Each glowing symbol floated before him, imprinting into the air with precision.

As the final sign formed, a golden barrier erupted around the Hokage's office. The sheer brilliance of the barrier left the onlookers stunned.

The intricate golden seals shimmered, glowing like molten sunlight. Gasps of awe and fear echoed through the room.

"What a magnificent display of sealing jutsu," murmured one of the spectators. "No ink, no chakra paper—just raw chakra manipulation."

Hiruzen's voice carried an icy finality. "You have broken a sacred taboo. You dared to threaten us. Your outcome is death."

The room descended into chaos as the foreign shinobi prepared for battle. But Hiruzen didn't give them the chance.

He clapped his hands together, and a translucent cube of energy materialized, encasing his adversaries in a glowing cage.

Inside the cube, a circle of light appeared, expanding rapidly. Before anyone could react, the energy ignited in a blinding flash.

When the light faded, only dust remained where the shinobi once stood.

The room was silent, save for the faint hum of the dissipating barrier. Sweat trickled down the backs of Hiruzen's allies. The sheer display of power left them frozen in place.

Kagami Uchiha broke the silence. "That… was Dust Release. The technique of Mu, the Second Tsuchikage, and Onoki, the Third."

"Yes," Hiruzen confirmed, his tone matter-of-fact. "It's one of many kekkei genkai I've developed in my free time."

The casual remark sent a ripple of disbelief through the room. "Developed… in his free time?" one muttered incredulously.

Ignoring their stunned expressions, Hiruzen turned to Might Dai, the ANBU commander.

"Inform the world that negotiations have failed. The three villages threatened Konoha and declared war. Spread the truth of their cowardly attack on the Uzumaki. We will answer their aggression with full force."

"Yes, Hokage-sama," Dai replied, vanishing in a blur.

Hiruzen summoned another ANBU operative.

"Relay these orders: Sakumo Hatake will lead the Hatake and Hyuga clans against the Mist. Tsunade will guide the Senju and Uzumaki clans to counter Kumo. Jiraiya will lead the Uchiha and Ino-Shika-Cho alliance towards the Sand. Orochimaru will command the Sarutobi, Shimura, and Kurama clans against the Stone. Deliver these scrolls to each leader; they can summon me to the battlefield if the situation demands it."

The ANBU operative bowed deeply. "Understood, Hokage-sama."

Turning to Kagami, Hiruzen continued,

"Inform the Daimyo. Request additional funding and report the situation of the three villages' aggression. Make it clear that the Fire Country's borders will be expanded, and smaller neighboring countries will be integrated into our domain. These nations are too unpredictable and may become liabilities."

Kagami nodded, his expression solemn. "Yes, Hokage-sama."

With the orders dispatched, Hiruzen descended to the underground dungeon, where nine prisoners sat restrained.

Their chakra was sealed, their bodies bound in chakra-metal restraints. Each cell was reinforced with Hiruzen's crystal-release fortifications, rendering escape impossible.

As he entered, the Raikage sneered. "Hokage. Surely you're here to release us, yes? You've come to your senses." He laughed bitterly, his voice echoing off the cold walls.

Hiruzen's gaze was unyielding. "Release you? No. Your fate is sealed. Initially, I considered negotiations, perhaps even compensation. But your villages' threats have left me no choice."

The Raikage's laughter stopped abruptly. "You dare—"

"Enough," Hiruzen interrupted, his chakra flaring. The oppressive pressure silenced the prisoners, their protests dying in their throats.

"Kill them all," Hiruzen ordered coldly, "except for the Jinchuriki. They are to be transported to the base of the Hokage Monument."

ANBU operatives sprang into action, mercilessly eliminating the restrained jonin. Cries of agony and rage echoed through the dungeon as Mizukage and Onoki watched helplessly.

Onoki roared, "Hokage! What are you doing? You'll start a war with all three villages!"

Mizukage joined in. "You're making a grave mistake! We'll compensate you—"

Hiruzen cut them off with a dry chuckle. "Compensate? With what? Empty promises? Your villages are nothing more than dens of bandits masquerading as shinobi."

As the ANBU carried out their grim task, Hiruzen's voice dropped to a whisper, audible only to the three remaining Kage.

"You've broken the sacred trust of this world. You don't deserve the mantle of Kage. You will face judgment."

Hiruzen didn't said anything as they screamed, he knew they were more than a beast compared to him, especially Kumo, who didn't know any humanity at all.

They massacre villages, raped womens and even didn't spared small age children.

In his tenure as Hokage, he read their reports on how all 4 villages operated, they truly don't have any shred of humanity in them, just some bandits who have gained some powers to wage war, who loot and kill as they please.

He swore that he will show them cruelty 10 times more, only when they feel pain, will they truly understand the pain and embrace the peace.

He knew that in a world like this having strength is necessary, but that didn't give you the right to do a massacre wantonly, he have his bottom line too, just coming to a new world doesn't change the belief that has been forged in him for 20 years.

The Raikage's roar of defiance echoed one last time before fire engulfed the cells, reducing the three Kage to ash.

With his task complete, Hiruzen teleported to the base of the Hokage Monument, ready to continue his unrelenting campaign against those who dared challenge Konoha.
