The position of Second Hokage should have been his, Uchiha Madara's.

But Hashirama had passed it to his brother, and that was the root of the Leaf's current state.

A large group of Edo Tensei reanimated ninja stood behind Madara.

Madara had almost forgotten about them.

Looking at the desolate battlefield,

almost no living ninja remained standing.
