Konan blinked open her eyes slowly.

A strange headache throbbed through her skull, and she realized she'd been caught in a genjutsu.

Konan made a hand seal and focused the chakra flowing through her body.

"Seems like I've managed to break free from your genjutsu. This must be reality now."

Konan stepped down from the metal bed and scanned her surroundings, quickly realizing she was in a completely unfamiliar place.

"Where exactly am I?"

"This is my home," Naruto said proudly as he walked in, Hinata cradled in one arm while supporting Nagato with the other.

Konan was stunned.

Nagato's lower body had been paralyzed—normally confined to a wheelchair—but now he was walking with crutches, though still needing some support from Naruto.

"Nagato… your legs?"

As soon as Konan saw that Nagato was alright, she forgot all about how Naruto had recently been her enemy.

"Nagato's legs have been restored," Naruto said proudly.

"How did you do it?" Konan knew Nagato's physical condition better than anyone.

Back during the Great War, Nagato had summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. Since then, his legs had been paralyzed and his body had grown weaker each day.

"I absorbed the chakra of the Tailed Beasts," Nagato explained.

Konan was even more shocked.

"The chakra of the Tailed Beasts contains violent and aggressive energy. Absorbing it would only burden your body further."

Konan shot Nagato a worried glance.

Naruto waved his hand and smiled. "The Tailed Beasts aren't filled with rage anymore. They're actually quite tame now."

Konan couldn't believe it. To Konan, the Tailed Beasts were wild, uncontrollable forces—destructive monsters that wreaked havoc across the world.

Of course, Konan wasn't the only one who thought this way.

"Move over, you're blocking me," The One-Tailed Shukaku waddled in, his massive belly swaying as he dragged his thick tail behind him, swaying unsteadily as he walked.

Naruto quickly stepped aside.

"Hmph, I've given this red-haired kid so much chakra, yet all you gave me was this tiny bit of potato chips!" Shukaku grumbled angrily.

"Damn it," Naruto shouted. "I bought out every last bag of chips in Konoha! You've already eaten through an entire village's worth!"

"Do Sunagakure Village's shops sell chips?"

Naruto let out a helpless sigh at Shukaku's impossible request.

A smile appeared on Nagato's face.

Konan stood there wide-eyed in disbelief.

She wondered whether she was still trapped inside a genjutsu—what she was seeing had to be an illusion.

"Release!" Konan barked, eyes shut tight, trying to dispel the illusion.

Opening her eyes again, she found Nagato still standing right in front of her, and Shukaku still wandering around.

"This illusion feels *too* real—I can't shake it!"

Konan showed a pained expression.

Nagato took a step forward, moving steadily toward Konan without needing Naruto's support.

"This is reality—not an illusion." Nagato infused his chakra into Konan, using conventional methods to help her dispel the genjutsu.

Konan could clearly feel Nagato's chakra entering her body—it felt far too real.

"Hey."

Naruto laughed. "Nagato's body has been growing weaker purely because of the Rinnegan—his body simply can't handle its power."

"Nagato carries the Uzumaki bloodline. It's already a miracle that he's survived this long."

"I had the Tailed Beasts inject their chakra into Nagato's body. Temporarily, it restored his youthfulness—his hair turned red again, his face became more lively, and even his legs can walk now."

"If you want Nagato to fully recover, we'll have to remove the Rinnegan."

After saying all that, Naruto finally revealed his plan—he wanted Nagato to remove the Rinnegan.

"No!" Nagato immediately refused. "I won't remove the Rinnegan. I need these eyes to see the truth when it finally reveals itself."

In the end, Nagato still didn't fully trust Naruto, so he insisted on keeping the Rinnegan.

"Suit yourself. If you like wearing the Rinnegan, keep wearing it. When you die one day, I'll just take it back," Naruto replied half-joking.

The following days became Nagato and Konan's private time together.

They talked a lot, and Konan felt greatly surprised because Nagato seemed unusually cheerful.

"Long ago, you weren't like this. Nagato, you've changed—you're smiling now."

Nagato stiffened for a moment before quickly suppressing his smile. "Maybe I really was wrong. Naruto has become friends with the Tailed Beasts. Humans can actually befriend them—that's beyond anything I ever imagined."

Konan nodded in agreement. "I also think Naruto is truly special."

"Maybe Naruto really can change this world."

Just then, the door opened, and in walked a turtle with three tails.

San Isobu wasn't much of a talker and simply stared blankly at Nagato.

Nagato remained silent for a while before explaining. "Naruto arranged for the Tailed Beasts to rotate through here, infusing me with chakra regularly. Now it's San Isobu's turn."

San Isobu nodded repeatedly, looking quite adorable.

Next, Konan personally witnessed the entire process.

San Isobu opened its mouth and released pure chakra. This chakra was extremely refined without any negative emotions.

Chakra flowed continuously from San Isobu into Nagato, gradually restoring vibrant life energy to Nagato's body.

Previously, Konan hadn't believed such a thing was possible, but seeing it with her own eyes now was still shocking enough to leave her speechless.

Once San Isobu finished its work, it quietly left alone.

Konan watched wide-eyed as San Isobu crawled away.

"When you were trapped in that genjutsu earlier, I felt exactly the same—hard to believe it's real."

On the other side,

Naruto brought Hinata to an extremely secret location.

Karin had already been waiting there.

As soon as Naruto entered, he saw two Tailed Beasts lying on the ground, bound by several chakra iron chains.

Karin single-handedly used the Adamantine Sealing Chains to restrain both Tailed Beasts—a clear sign of how much she had improved.

"Hey there, Two-Tailed Matatabi!"

"Hey there, Five-Tailed Kokuo!"

Both beasts looked stunned—the humans could actually call out their true names.

"One-Tailed Shukaku, Three-Tailed San Isobu, Four-Tailed Son Gokū, you guys can come out now."

No sooner had Naruto spoken than three massive Tailed Beasts appeared out of thin air.

Naruto let out a lazy yawn, then sat down with Hinata beside him to wait.

Tell One - Tailed Beast, San, and Four-Tailed to go talk with Two-Tailed and Five-Tailed.

San looked awkward and just stood there silently the entire time.

One - Tailed Beast spoke the fastest, rattling off dozens of compliments about Naruto in one breath.

He claimed Naruto had been praised so extravagantly it felt as if he were a divine being descended from heaven.

He said Naruto inherited the very will of the Sage of Six Paths, possessing noble character, unwavering honesty, boundless kindness, virtuous integrity, unshakable loyalty, and a heart that shares both hardship and joy...

Hearing all this, Naruto couldn't help but blush furiously.

Hinata asked, "Naruto-kun, why is your face red?"

"Wait—is that guy seriously talking about *me*?"

"Of course it is! That's just how amazing you are, Naruto-kun!"

"Seriously? I didn't even realize I was this awesome!"
