Naruto Rebirth : Rewriting Fate of the Ninja World

In Amegakure, on the top floor of the tower, Naruto sipped hot tea while reading the scroll he had just obtained.

"Lightning Style Chakra Mode, B-rank Ninjutsu, about the same level as Shadow Clone. Not because it's weak, but because although it's easy to master, for most ninjas its actual effect is average. Yes, for most ninjas..."

Konan hesitated. "Is this an order from the 'leader'?"

"Since it's an order, then fine."

Konan set the teapot down.

Naruto sipped his tea, watching her carefully.

Konan took a deep breath, raised her hands, patted her face, then pinched the corners of her mouth and forced a smile.

"Pfft...!" Naruto burst out laughing and spat out some tea.

"What was that? A fake smile manual? Sorry, Konan-san, that was too funny!"

"If you want me to laugh on purpose, I really can't..." 

Konan lowered her hands, then a small genuine smile appeared at the corner of her mouth as she watched Naruto laugh.

After that, Konan put away the tea set and said seriously, "It's almost time to rest. You didn't sleep at all last night, did you?"

Naruto said, "I'm not sleepy."

Konan glanced at the scroll on the table. "So, are you planning to practice this ninjutsu while the time is right?"

Naruto replied, "It's easy to master. It will only take one night. But first, I need to finish some preparation."

Konan's curious eyes brightened. "Oh? What kind of preparation?"

Suddenly, a flash of lightning lit up the sky, followed by a loud rumble of thunder.

Naruto stared out at the rain outside the tower with a serious look. "I have to master 'Purple Lightning' first."

Konan frowned slightly, trying to recall, but she had no memory of 'Purple Lightning'. 

"Purple Lightning? I've never heard of this Lightning Style before."

Naruto rested his chin on his hand and spoke quietly, "Sister Konan, I've shown you memories of the future, but many details were missing."

"During the Fourth Shinobi World War, we fought together to seal Kaguya, and Hatake Kakashi lost his Sharingan in that battle."

Konan thought for a moment. "Hatake Kakashi is famous for his Sharingan and Raikiri. Losing his Sharingan must have been a huge blow to his strength."

Naruto smiled. "Yes, but after that, he became the Sixth Hokage of Konoha—not by seniority, but because of his real strength."

"In the years after the war, he developed a new way to use Lightning Style's Nature Transformation. That's how the 'Purple Lightning' technique was born."

"The power of Purple Lightning is beyond imagination. Even without Raikiri's high-speed sprint, it's far stronger than Raikiri. It doesn't even need the Sharingan to work. Kakashi's strength has actually surpassed what he was before."

Naruto changed the subject and said, "To be honest, I've always wanted to master Lightning Style, but I didn't meet the requirements before."

Konan asked, "What requirements?"

Naruto explained, "First, even though I have lightning nature, I'm not good with Lightning Style yet. That's easy to fix with practice. The real problem is the second thing I don't have the 'Yin Release' change of chakra."

[Note: Yin Release' is different from Yin and Yang Release' ; they are essentially not the same]

Konan asked, "Do you have it now?"

Naruto raised his left hand and covered his right eye. "Yes. The power of the Uchiha is the ultimate Yin Release'. Shisui's Sharingan, along with the power of Kotoamatsukami, gave me the one thing I lacked before: Yin Release'. Now the conditions are perfect. It's time to master the Lightning Style I struggled with and upgrade it straight to 'Purple Lightning'!"

Konan said, "But you said Hatake Kakashi took years to develop Purple Lightning."

Naruto smiled. "Developing something new is one thing, but learning it is another. My father spent years developing the Rasengan, but I mastered it in just a week... Besides, I have a special advantage in training, my Shadow Clone Technique."

Konan looked a bit helpless. "So, another sleepless night for you?"

Naruto stood up and said, "Yes. But Konan-san, don't get caught in the rain with me this time, you might get sick again."

A strange flicker passed through Konan's eyes. She gently brushed her bangs and returned to her usual cool expression.

She said firmly, "I didn't get sick because of the rain. It was because I used too many paper clones, which drained my chakra and made me exhausted."

Naruto smiled. "Well, I don't think you're the type to catch a cold easily. This time, I won't hold an umbrella for you or your Shadow Clones..."

Naruto was surprised. "Ah, Konan-sister, aren't you going to bed?"

Konan replied, "No, I got used to it back in Akatsuki. One hour of sleep a day is enough."

"Oh well…" Naruto smiled helplessly. His Fire Cloud Suit rustled as he jumped down from the tower.

Konan watched Naruto's figure disappear into the rain and thought, "Naruto, you are the bridge of hope protecting the future of the ninja world. I failed to protect them before, but this time, no matter what happens, I will be the pillar supporting your bridge."

With that, Konan stepped forward and followed him into the rain.

Naruto formed hand seals with both hands.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang…!

In the pouring rain, nearly a thousand Shadow Clones appeared from the white smoke.

"I've practiced many jutsu besides Wind Style after the war, but I'm still surprisingly weak at Lightning Style. I'll use this method to master it first…!"
