Acting on instinct, he reached out and touched it.

The moment his hand made contact, he felt as though he'd sensed the pulse of life itself.

The Chakra inside his body resonated with the eye.

This must be the giant Tenseigan. Without eyes, everything's so much harder, he mused inwardly.

At Hinata's location—

Several puppets surrounding her suddenly froze mid-motion, standing stiff and still.

"Toneri Ōtsutsuki… our clan… Should I remain here?"

"Stay here? Do you really like this body enough to refuse to leave it?" Kaguya spoke up.

"Life consists of both spirit and flesh. If I separate from this body and there's no consciousness controlling it for long, wouldn't this body effectively die? To keep it alive, I'd have to place it inside a culture vat."

"But if I return now, how can I come back later without an unconscious vessel being able to invade another body?"
