Chapter 263: Had Enough?

Hagoromo Gengetsu blinked and, seeing that Naruto hadn't seized the moment to power up to Sage of Six Paths mode, lowered the black rod from his shoulder. He prepared to fight and eliminate the current nuisance.

Although he was wary of the Sage of Six Paths, there was no need to overly deify him. Even when alive, the Sage wasn't omniscient or omnipotent, let alone after death. In Gengetsu's judgment, the Sage, now existing in chakra form in the ninja world, was largely unaware of current events, perhaps "sleeping" most of the time.

As evidenced in the original story, the Sage only truly awakened when significant threats like the Ten Tails or Kaguya Otsutsuki, who were deeply connected to him, emerged. Infused with senjutsu chakra, the massive sea of flames, ten times more potent than usual, spewed from Gengetsu's mouth, sweeping forward. Before Naruto could react, the Great Toad Sage, positioned at the rear, spat a gigantic meteor-like water sphere, which landed and spread outwards, neutralizing the flames.

Hissing steam rose as the water met the fire. The Great Toad Sage's water completely extinguished Gengetsu's fire.

"Well done, Great Toad Sage!"

With no obstacles left, Naruto's clone army, filled with renewed vigor, accelerated towards Gengetsu. Gengetsu glanced at the cautious Great Toad Sage, ready to support with ninjutsu, and summoned a Truth-Seeking Ball to form a massive fan, sweeping it horizontally.

Boom! Boom! Boom! The clones at the forefront were instantly dispelled.

"Don't get too cocky!"

Naruto's furious voice echoed as several clones, each wielding a Rasengan, charged at the fan. While non-six-path beings would be obliterated by the Truth-Seeking Ball, senjutsu techniques were immune.

But that wasn't the end. Another group of Naruto clones extended numerous chakra arms, reaching out to grab Gengetsu. Gengetsu remained motionless as another Truth-Seeking Ball formed a protective sphere, blocking all the chakra arms.

"This is the moment!"

Naruto, assisted by two clones, raised a massive, swiftly spinning Rasenshuriken.

"Sage Art: Wind Style: Big Ball Rasenshuriken!"

After witnessing Gengetsu's Wind Style Rasenshuriken two years prior, Naruto had continuously researched and perfected this technique, culminating in its completion with the aid of sage training. With a piercing shriek, the enormous Rasenshuriken flew towards Gengetsu.

A blinding white flash.

The deafening explosion rocked the area. Though the blast radius didn't match a Super Almighty Push or a Truth-Seeking Ball detonation, the destructive power was comparable.

Amidst the dust and debris of the former Mount Myoboku, a Truth-Seeking Ball, destabilized by the massive impact, was propelled outward. This was the third Truth-Seeking Ball, previously unused.

"Just one left!"

Naruto, seeing the slightly offset and unstable Truth-Seeking Ball barrier around Gengetsu, prepared to press the attack with more shadow clones.
