Naruto: I Can Take People Through the Ninja World in the Future

Chapter 665: I, Senju Tobirama, Finally Rise!

After Parallel World 2 Tobirama returned to his world, he immediately began a period of seclusion. With Kagami as his sole confidant, he located an underground base outside Konoha village and prepared for the Tenseigan transplant operation.

Indeed, the giant Tenseigan given to him by Lux, combined with tens of thousands of Byakugan from both the main and branch Otsutsuki clans on the Moon, had finally formed a Giant Tenseigan!

Only a Giant Tenseigan could move the entire Moon, possessing power truly comparable to Six Paths level. And only a Giant Tenseigan could fully merge and condense into a perfect, normal Tenseigan.

After a month of intense research, aided by the two head scientists from Parallel Worlds 3 and 4, Tobirama finally succeeded in condensing the Giant Tenseigan into a normal Tenseigan suitable for transplantation into human eyes.

For this day, Tobirama had waited too long!

Once the transplant succeeded and he could withstand the immense power of the Tenseigan, he would possess strength to rival or even surpass Uchiha Madara!

No one would call him useless Tobirama anymore!

He would finally trample that vile Uchiha Madara!

With boundless hope and excitement, Tobirama began the transplant operation, performed by his own shadow clone.

No choice—doing it himself was the safest at a time like this. If someone else did it, they might not understand the Tenseigan as well as he did, though the two Orochimarus could also serve as operators.

But Tobirama worried that if he called them, the Tenseigan implanted in his eye might not be clean—likely covered in spit and mucus. The thought alone made Tobirama shudder, so he firmly decided to do it himself.

◆━⊰✧⊱━◆

Ordinary eye transplant surgery was nothing daunting; Tobirama was very experienced. Though it's unpleasant to say, for the sake of researching Sharingan and Byakugan, he had performed similar transplants often, so he was highly skilled.

The only thing to watch for was the immense power generated post-transplant, which could potentially consume the recipient's will and personality, making them arrogant or even completely insane.

Minato had warned him about this. He himself struggled to control the power of a single Rinnegan, especially without Uzumaki clan lineage, Hashirama's cells, or Obito's Uchiha lineage. Even Obito, with Spiral Zetsu, could barely manage one Rinnegan's power. The Tenseigan, with its raw power surpassing the Rinnegan, would have an even greater backlash.

For this, Tobirama had prepared two plans. On one hand, he sought out future Obito and Zetsu, obtaining Hashirama cell transplant technology researched by Madara for decades. On the other, he consulted future Orochimaru, acquiring a certain level of body modification technology.

With his brother's cells providing strength and Orochimaru's tailored life-modification tech, he was likely to withstand the Tenseigan's power!

Of course, Tobirama also considered the worst-case scenario. If he failed to control the Tenseigan's power, the heavily fortified secret base and Kagami guarding outside would serve as barriers to contain his rampage, buying some time.

Most crucially, what gave Tobirama the courage to risk self-transplantation was Lux's presence. With the Sage of the Six Paths, even if he lost his sanity, the other could easily subdue him, right?

However, if the transplant truly failed and he couldn't control the Tenseigan's power, failure would mean total defeat.

"Lord, I'm ready!"

Tobirama's real body, on the operating table, reported and saluted Lux beside him.

"Go ahead. Don't worry about anything else."

Lux waved his hand, signaling Tobirama to proceed with confidence. Honestly, he was curious to see if a non-Uchiha, non-Otsutsuki ninja could truly withstand the Tenseigan's power. And how strong would he be after a successful transplant?

If this could be proven, it might help ninjas from other Parallel Worlds quickly gain Six Paths-level power, greatly advancing unification. After all, some Parallel Worlds lacked everything, but Byakugan and Tenseigan were abundant.

"Then, I leave it to you, Lord!"

Tobirama felt slightly relieved; with the Sensei's assurance, his confidence surged.

"Relax. If you fail, you won't leave here alive."

"…"

Tobirama's newfound感动 was instantly shattered. But he didn't despair; sometimes, only reckless courage could seize victory in one strike.

◆━⊰✧⊱━◆

Soon, the transplant operation officially began. Without his brother's seal-less healing ability, Tobirama couldn't do a hot-swap eye transplant. He had to perform the full procedure, like Sasuke transplanting the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Fortunately, the operation was quick. In just a few minutes, Tobirama's shadow clone completed the procedure on his real body, successfully transplanting the bluish-green Tenseigan into his right eye socket.

After the operation.

Tobirama, with his right eye bandaged, lay on the operating table, feeling a strange emptiness, like losing his virginity. Though it was his first time transplanting a special eye, he never expected that he, who once scorned the Uchiha's prized dojutsu and created forbidden ninjutsu to counter it, would end up like those he despised, relying on eye power, on dojutsu…

Forget it. As long as it was to defeat Uchiha Madara and unify the world, it was worth it!

"How do you feel?"

Lux's voice came from beside the operating table. Tobirama sat up, turned, and answered, "My eye socket still hurts a bit, no changes yet."

"Maybe the nerves haven't recovered, and the eye's power hasn't flowed, so there's no change…"

"I'll ask Kagami to bring in a medical ninja to speed up healing and adaptation a bit."

Lux waved, interrupting, "No need. I'll heal you."

Lux raised his hand, and invisible Wood Element True Qi flowed out, quickly entering Tobirama's body.

This was True Qi Lux recently converted using the Dry Tree Immortality Technique, equivalent to an advanced version of senjutsu chakra combining chakra and natural energy, naturally possessing super-strong healing effects.

It couldn't revive the dead but could grow flesh from bones! Repairing optic nerve cells was, of course, easy.

"What power is this? Warm? So comfortable…"

"Sss—!"

"I can feel my right eye's optic nerves recovering rapidly!"

Tobirama gasped in shock. As this strange non-chakra energy entered his body, he naturally felt its miraculous effects, like being injected with a vast stream of pure vitality. The flesh in his right eye socket began healing quickly, fully recovering in seconds and connecting completely with the Tenseigan!

Moreover, Tobirama felt this power rapidly spread through his body, repairing all hidden ailments and injuries he'd ever had, replenishing much of his vitality, making him seem years younger!

(What power is this? So miraculous?)

(Not only can it heal wounds, but it can also extend life? Not even a hint of chakra aura—is this another Sennin method?!!!)

Tobirama was overwhelmed, once again awed by the Sage of the Six Paths' wonders.

No choice—ninjas accustomed to chakra would be shocked encountering an unknown energy surpassing the chakra system. Like modern people struggling to imagine what energy, besides electricity, could power a phone.

If an unknown energy appeared that could power a phone and turn it into a robot, they'd be incredulous too!

But Tobirama had little time to ponder this wonder. As his optic nerves recovered, he fully connected with the Tenseigan, instantly channeling its power, fully activating it!

*BOOM!*

A surge of chakra pressure and a bluish-green whirlwind exploded from Tobirama's body.

The Tenseigan's immense power flooded into him, pushing him beyond Super Kage and Quasi-Six Paths levels in one step, faintly reaching Six Paths level!

This was an explosive leap in power!

However, this terrifying chakra power seemed unstable, constantly fluctuating, expanding, and contracting. Tobirama himself closed his eyes, his face showing excruciating pain, as if thousands of sharp thorns were frantically piercing his flesh, causing immense agony.

And this was just physical. More critical was the mental and consciousness impact!

It's worth noting that even Otsutsuki Toneri, who reached Six Paths level, became a flawed monster after absorbing countless Byakugan, stimulated by their hatred and impact. Young Toneri was too naive, his will not strong enough.

This showed that a Tenseigan formed from merging many Byakugan had significant flaws. Otherwise, the Otsutsuki would've brought Tenseigan for their tree-planting expeditions.

Fortunately, Tobirama's preparations paid off. Hashirama's cells and Orochimaru's body modification tech alleviated much of the physical burden. Simply put, it was like enlarging a bottle's volume and mass to hold stronger, more abundant chakra.

As for the mental impact, that depended on Tobirama's willpower.

No one could help him… If Tobirama couldn't overcome the Tenseigan's hatred, Lux would reluctantly have to give up on him, either killing him or removing the Tenseigan.

And so.

The horrific impact tortured Tobirama for minutes, nearly as painful as Obito's Six Paths suffering when Juubi possessed him. Lux could sense Tobirama's will and resistance weakening bit by bit.

Unlike Obito, Tobirama lacked an anchor like Rin, someone he loved; in the face of hellish suffering, his usual cold rationality wasn't enough. It was hard to say who was superior, Tobirama or Obito, in this regard.

But Obito's unchanging true love anchor did strengthen his resolve. Did Tobirama have an unforgettable anchor?

Lux thought for a moment and decided to help Tobirama once more, provoking him:

"Tobirama, if you lose your sanity, Uchiha Kagami will become the vilest Uchiha Madara's steed!"

"Absurd, absolutely not!"

Tobirama, struggling in agony a second ago, trembled all over the next, shouting sharply and instantly opening his eyes wide!
