Chapter 32: Chapter 32: I'll Show You a Treasure
---
"My foolish little brother!" A voice emerged from the mist, slow and indifferent. "You're still just as weak as before."
Two figures, draped in black cloaks adorned with red clouds, stepped forward. It was Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame.
"Itachi, is that kid your younger brother?" Kisame asked with curiosity, his sharp, shark-like grin widening. "He looks so fragile."
Itachi remained silent.
Kakashi, taking advantage of Zabuza's moment of distraction, instantly moved to Sasuke, dragging him back to where Tazuna stood.
Sasuke, his veins bulging from rage, pushed away Kakashi's supporting hand and struggled to stand, his body trembling with fury. "You bastard!" he roared at Itachi. "I'LL KILL YOU!"
"Yo, Zabuza! I'm really glad to see you alive!" Kisame greeted with a casual smirk.
"Hmph!" Zabuza snorted in disdain. "What the hell are you doing here?" He had no respect for Kisame, the man who once served the Fourth Mizukage like a loyal dog.
Zabuza had sworn to overthrow the Bloody Mist regime, while Kisame had willingly served under the Fourth Mizukage, even killing the feudal lord of the Land of Water on his orders.
Their ideals clashed. Zabuza wanted revolution, while Kisame had once been the system's enforcer.
Suddenly, Itachi's gaze locked onto Zabuza. Without hesitation, his Mangekyō Sharingan activated, casting Tsukuyomi into Zabuza's mind.
The illusion overwhelmed his senses, showing him visions of Project Tsuki no Me—the Moon's Eye Plan.
When the genjutsu finally released him, Zabuza stood there, his expression unreadable.
He exhaled sharply. "I won't join you," he said firmly. "Living in a dream? That's not my style. I don't like dreaming—I prefer shattering other people's dreams."
Kisame chuckled darkly. "Then you have no reason to exist. Maybe it's time for the Executioner's Blade to find a new owner. Your little apprentice looks promising."
With that, Kisame lunged forward, his Samehada clashing violently against Zabuza's massive Kubikiribōchō.
Itachi, however, turned his attention to Kakashi, then to Sasuke.
He looked down at his enraged little brother and spoke calmly. "You still don't have the resolve to kill me, Sasuke."
With that, he cast Tsukuyomi on Kakashi.
A cold sweat instantly broke out across Kakashi's face, and he collapsed to one knee, struggling against the mental torture.
"Sensei!" Sakura screamed, panic evident in her voice. "Who is he? Why is he attacking us?!"
"RUN!" Kakashi forced out, his voice hoarse. "He's an S-rank rogue ninja… Uchiha Itachi! Run! The mission is canceled!"
With those final words, Kakashi passed out.
Sakura gritted her teeth, trembling, yet she didn't move.
Instead, she stepped in front of Sasuke and Kakashi, holding her kunai defensively.
Itachi regarded her with cold indifference. "The pain you feel isn't enough," he muttered, before suddenly dashing toward her.
Sakura's breath hitched—she knew she wouldn't be able to react in time.
Just when she thought it was over, a figure appeared between them in a blur of motion.
A hand slammed Sasuke's head into the ground, pinning him effortlessly, while another hand intercepted Itachi's kunai mid-swing.
"Oi, Itachi! What do you think you're doing to my future wife?!"
It was Naruto.
He grinned smugly, his arrival dramatic as hell—though, admittedly, using a smoke bomb to make an entrance was probably overkill. But who cared? It looked cool.
A loud SMACK echoed through the air as Sakura punched him square in the head.
"Who the hell is your future wife?!" she yelled, her face bright red.
Naruto rubbed his head, pouting. "Jeez, violent much? I was just trying to help."
Meanwhile, Sasuke thrashed under Naruto's grip, struggling to get up.
Naruto sighed before knocking him out with a thud. "Jeez, stop struggling. What, you wanna fight me now too?"
Itachi: "…" What the hell is this moron doing?
Sakura nearly cried in frustration. "Naruto, what are you doing?! Sasuke passed out! What do we do now?!"
But when she turned back to Itachi, she suddenly realized something terrifying.
Itachi… was on guard.
Uchiha Itachi, the man who wiped out his entire clan, was staring at Naruto as if he were a serious threat.
"What's wrong, Naruto?" Sakura started, but before she could finish, Naruto moved.
His figure blurred—a burst of pure speed.
His once-blue eyes flickered into something unnatural—his irises now a strange, deep purple.
A Rasengan formed in his palm instantly—without any hand seals.
Itachi's eyes narrowed. "A Jutsu with no seals?"
With speed invisible to the naked eye, Naruto lunged forward.
Itachi barely had time to react. His hands blurred into seals—Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!
A massive fireball roared toward Naruto.
But Naruto's speed suddenly spiked, and he vanished.
A second later, he appeared above Itachi, slamming the Rasengan down at full force.
A loud BOOM rocked the bridge. The ground shattered, leaving a massive spiral crater.
But Itachi had already substituted with a log.
Kisame and Zabuza both stopped fighting, momentarily stunned.
Kisame's smirk vanished, replaced by a rare look of shock. "Wait… This kid is the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki?!"
Itachi gave a slow nod, his expression unreadable.
He hadn't expected the little boy he once saw on the training fields to grow so powerful in such a short time.
Naruto's combat ability had already surpassed Kage-level.
From raw taijutsu to ninjutsu proficiency, to sheer battle instincts—this was no ordinary Jinchūriki.
Zabuza, now standing beside Haku, watched warily. "Good thing this kid wasn't fighting earlier. Or else… we'd all be dead."
Sakura, meanwhile, was having a full-blown identity crisis.
"Who am I? Where am I? What am I witnessing?!"
The inner Sakura inside her head screamed: "THAT'S NARUTO?! NO WAY! HE LOOKS LIKE A GODDAMN SAGE OF SIX PATHS! AND HE'S HOT?!"
But just as things seemed intense, Naruto suddenly relaxed.
His expression shifted back to his usual goofy grin.
"Meh, Why So Serious?" he chuckled. "That was just my way of saying hello!"
He turned to Itachi, smirking. "Long time no see, huh? We were practically brothers when we were kids. How about coming back to Konoha for old times' sake? We can grab some barbecue. I'll treat you—you pay!"
Kisame blinked. "Brother Itachi, is this guy seriously your brother?"
Itachi didn't answer. Instead, he cast one final glance at Naruto… then at the unconscious Sasuke.
"Let's go."
And in the blink of an eye, both vanished.
Naruto turned back toward Sakura and the others, his smirk widening.
"Alright, guys!" he cracked his knuckles. "Now that those two are gone… let me show you something cool."
He lunged forward toward them.
"Come on! I'll show you a treasure!"
