Naruto : I Aspire To Become Hokage Man

"Huh?" White Zetsu was stunned as he saw Itachi slowly kneel on the ground, clutching his left eye.

A thin stream of blood dripped down from the corner of that eye.

"You..." Itachi muttered in a strained voice, pretending to be in pain. "Give it back... my Tsukuyomi..."

Outside the window, Naruto suddenly perked up!

Shit! The main event has begun! He's making his move!

Sasuke slowly stood up, his tone dark and deliberate. "I said... I will use my hatred to turn illusion into reality."

"Turn illusion into reality?" Itachi stood slowly as well, voice growing colder. "Then I shall turn everything you've experienced in the illusion... into your reality!"

"Genjutsu warfare is endless once it begins," Black Zetsu explained calmly. "Now that Itachi has broken through Tsukuyomi, the illusion battle is meaningless. What follows next... is a duel of ninjutsu."

"Itachi's left eye is known as the strongest illusion—Tsukuyomi. But the other eye..." Black Zetsu continued, "...is said to possess the strongest offensive technique—Amaterasu, the inextinguishable black flames!"

Everyone's eyes dropped to Itachi's hands. He was forming hand seals rapidly!

That's right—hand seals!

"Is he going to use Amaterasu?!" White Zetsu asked excitedly.

At that moment, Sasuke hurled a giant shuriken toward Itachi!

"So fast! He's not even giving him the chance to complete the seals!" Black Zetsu exclaimed in awe.

Naruto, still watching from above, looked visibly pained. Damn it, Itachi! Why are you still using hand seals? Isn't Amaterasu supposed to activate just by looking with your right eye?

As the massive shuriken spun through the air, it split into two—Shadow Shuriken Technique!

Itachi's eyes widened slightly—damn, good timing.

Sasuke, already in midair, pulled on a nearly invisible wire. The shuriken suddenly unfolded into mechanical compartments.

Clang! A scimitar hidden inside the shuriken stabbed directly into Itachi's leg!

Crack! Itachi collapsed to one knee.

Sasuke grinned wickedly. "Got you with the last one."

Naruto stared blankly at the scene. This is too fake... who still gets hit by shuriken these days? Weren't those just decoration now?

Sasuke quickly performed a series of hand seals. "Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"

A massive fireball surged toward Itachi. He tried to leap away with his injured leg.

But Sasuke immediately followed up, piercing through Itachi with a powerful Chidori, driving him up into the ceiling.

Mid-air, Itachi formed a single seal, and a Great Fireball—twice as large as Sasuke's—blasted downward!

Boom! The pursuing Sasuke was engulfed by flames, activating his Curse Mark Level 2 state!

The monstrous hand behind Sasuke extended forward, shielding his body. He grimaced in pain, but sneered. "This level of damage is nothing."

Then, both brothers rapidly formed hand seals, unleashing the Uchiha clan's signature jutsu—

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"

Two enormous fireballs clashed mid-air!

It turned into a contest of chakra... and lung capacity.

Black Zetsu floated up beside the battle. "Looks like Sasuke is gaining the upper hand..."

Itachi turned slightly, sweat on his brow. Then his right eye narrowed—Amaterasu.

Suddenly, black flames erupted, igniting Sasuke's fireball. Yes—you read that right. Itachi burned the fireball with Amaterasu.

Sasuke was stunned, frozen as he watched the black flames spread... toward him.

Just when it seemed Sasuke would be consumed by the flames, Itachi abruptly shut his right eye—and the black fire vanished.

Sasuke gasped, then bolted in a panic.

But then the black flames reappeared behind him—Amaterasu had re-locked onto its target!

The fire lashed out, nearly burning Sasuke alive.

In the end, the flames of Amaterasu ignited the giant cursed hand behind Sasuke, violently damaging the Curse Mark and then extinguishing.

"Hey... Amaterasu stopped," White Zetsu said curiously.

"Probably because he wants to extract Sasuke's Sharingan," Black Zetsu theorized.

Itachi slowly advanced toward Sasuke, eyes locked on his younger brother.

Sasuke kicked upward in a panic, sending Itachi flying!

"Fire Style: Dragon Fire Technique!"

Several roaring fireballs shot up toward Itachi mid-air. He twisted and evaded them.

Sasuke leapt into the sky, muscles flexed and body glowing with cursed energy. "Kame-sen Style Secret Technique—Full Power!!"

The force of the cursed chakra boosted his speed explosively!

"Black Chidori!" Sasuke hissed, forming a Chidori infused with dark lightning in his palm.

"This is my last chakra!" Sasuke roared. "Kirīn!!" ()

The black lightning erupted from Sasuke's hand, striking Itachi and paralyzing him. The thunderclouds summoned by the Dragon Fire descended with the force of the heavens, lightning in the shape of a mythical beast crashing into Itachi!

"Be consumed by thunder!!" Sasuke bellowed.

BOOM!! The deafening impact of lightning and chakra shook the entire fortress.

"It's over..." Sasuke collapsed to the ground, his Sharingan fading away.

"...Is this what you wanted to recreate with my death?" came Itachi's faint voice from the rubble.

"Nani?!" Sasuke was horrified.

The curse marks on his body crawled upward, enveloping him—Orochimaru's influence awakening.

He turned in shock to see Itachi rising slowly.

A massive red skeletal figure shimmered into existence—Susanoo, full-body form!

"Come forth and witness my power!" came Orochimaru's voice from within the curse mark, followed by the emergence of the White Snake Sage.

"Eight Branches Technique!"

A colossal Yamata-no-Orochi, the Eight-Headed Serpent, surged forward, charging at Susanoo.

With one massive swing, Itachi's Susanoo cleaved off several of the snake's heads!

Orochimaru slithered from one of the fallen serpent's mouths.

"So you finally appear..." Itachi panted.

Orochimaru grinned, slowly drawing the Kusanagi Sword from his mouth.

White Zetsu grimaced. "Ugh. He's still the same. Always vomiting up strange things..."

"I've been waiting for this moment!" Orochimaru laughed maniacally. "Thanks to you, Sasuke's chakra suppression failed. Now I can take his body—and yours!"

Itachi's eyes narrowed, glowing ominously.

The perfect Susanoo raised its sword—the Totsuka Blade—and with a single strike, impaled Orochimaru.

Orochimaru was sealed instantly.

The Cursed Seal on Sasuke's neck disintegrated into smoke...

Itachi took one slow step after another toward the exhausted Sasuke.

"Come on, Sasuke... What are you going to do next?" he asked quietly.

Suddenly, he clutched his chest and coughed blood.

Still inside Susanoo, Itachi staggered forward.

"Don't come near me!" Sasuke shouted, panicked.

He frantically threw Explosive Tags, but they didn't even scratch the armor of Susanoo.

"My eyes... my eyes..." Sasuke murmured in fear as Itachi's hand reached toward him.

Itachi's body trembled, then he leaned close—

"Forgive me, Sasuke... this is the last time..." he whispered.

With his final breath, Itachi transferred all of his Mangekyō Sharingan's power into Sasuke's eyes.

Then, he collapsed.

"...Strange." White Zetsu tilted his head.

"What is?" Black Zetsu asked.

"Itachi's performance was off. His movements weren't as sharp as usual. He took hits he should've dodged, and he was coughing blood mid-battle... Could he have been seriously injured before this fight? The Mangekyō's only drawback is blindness... but this was different."

"And with a technique like Susanoo... why wait until you're dying to use it?" White Zetsu muttered.

"Either way, this battle is over. Let's go," Black Zetsu said. "Notify the King... it's time to clean up the mess."

With that, he slowly sank into the earth.
