Chapter 211: Side Story Uchiha Sasuke

"There is a slight improvement in the Hyuga Clan. At least there isn't chaos like what with Hyuga Hiro did in his timeline and the branch members are surprisingly kind to Hinata and Hanabi," muttered Setsuna. "Unfortunately, Hinata is still too young to marry Naruto, and I won't be able to witness their wedding."

It was indeed a sad thought that he wouldn't get to see his disciple wedding. Fortunately, Naruto had already confessed to Hinata, and if it weren't for their young age, they probably would have been married much earlier.

"Now, let's see when my other clones will send their memories," said Setsuna.

A few minutes later, he received a memory from the Uchiha Sasuke timeline. His expression darkened after viewing it.

"It seems Isshiki isn't the only enemy," Setsuna murmured. "Kawaki"

Having transmigrated into this universe before the Boruto timeskip, Setsuna had no knowledge of the future manga events beyond that point.

---First Arrival---

"So, are you going to follow us?" asked Sasuke as they returned to his timeline. It had been four years, and truthfully, he missed his wife and daughter.

"This is a special clone body. I'm here to help you as much as I can, but unfortunately, the time limit is only one year," said Setsuna.

"Woah, you're really going to follow us?" Boruto said excitedly.

Setsuna smiled while gazing at the outskirts of Konoha. "So this is the future?"

"Yes," replied Boruto. Then he turned to look at Konoha in the distance. Compared to Uzushiogakure, which had skyscraper towers, future Konoha seemed a little underwhelming.

It wasn't the future's fault but with all the technological advancements from Setsuna era, the standard of living had drastically improved. Big buildings, cars, and many other things existed in that world that were still absent even in Naruto future timeline.

Clone Setsuna entered Sage Mode combined with KCM 3. He tried to sense everything within the village. Suddenly, he picked up a powerful chakra, concealed within a barrier something that felt like a beast but stronger than the Nine-Tails.

"I sense something..." Setsuna muttered, sweat forming on his forehead.

His words shocked Sasuke and Boruto. They had never seen him look this worried and a bit of afraid

"What did you sense?" asked Sasuke.

"There's a chakra far greater than Kurama. But I can't pinpoint the exact location," said Setsuna.

He tried again to trace the source, but something was blocking his perception. He could feel the chakra presence, but not its exact position.

"I can't locate it. It seems like a barrier is masking it," Setsuna added. "Let's go to Konoha first. We can investigate more once we're inside."

Sasuke nodded in agreement. After years of living in Uzushiogakure, he understood that Setsuna wasn't someone who got worried easily.

Both he and Boruto had left this dimension more than 4 years ago, and now Boruto had grown—he was already 18 years old.

They eventually reached the gates of Konoha. Sasuke approached the gate guard to register Uchiha Setsuna, which was a mandatory process for any outsider before being granted entry into the village.

"Sasuke-sama?"

"Boruto?!"

The guard was stunned to see them. Four years ago, both had disappeared, and the Hokage had distributed missing posters of them to every shinobi. After all this time, they had finally returned.

Many things evolved differently because of the absence of the main character, Uzumaki Boruto.

The incident where Code wanted to devour Boruto didn't happen because Boruto had left this timeline, so something else took place instead.

Kawaki was still adopted into the Uzumaki Family, and he turned out to be a great addition. He had grown closer and considered Naruto and Hinata as his true parents.

He also didn't attack Boruto or try to kill him because Boruto wasn't there in the first place. Kawaki came after Boruto had already left.

Years ago, Jigen appeared and threatened the ninja world. With the combined strength of the Five Kage and Kawaki Karma mark, they managed to defeat him. However, Naruto lost the Nine-Tails and had become weaker, just like in the original timeline.

Uchiha Sarada awakened her Mangekyou Sharingan because she lost or missing both her friend and her father at the same time.

What Setsuna had sensed earlier was the Ten-Tails, and it was more complete and powerful than the previous Ten-Tails. Unfortunately, Code had used a barrier seal, making it impossible for Setsuna to pinpoint the exact location.

Now, the threat loomed even larger, and the mystery surrounding the Ten-Tails' presence weighed heavily on Setsuna minds. Setsuna knew they had to act quickly—but carefully—before things spiraled further out of control.

---Reunion---

Upon hearing the news, Sarada and Sakura rushed to the village gate but found no one there except the guard. Without wasting a second, they dashed toward the Hokage office, where they found Hinata and Himawari hugging Boruto, who had clearly grown taller and more mature.

Their eyes then lit up the moment they saw Uchiha Sasuke—alive, healthy, and even more surprising, with both arms fully intact.

"Sasuke-kun!"

"Papa!"

Both women lunged at Sasuke, and he welcomed them with open arms, embracing them tightly.

"I'm back," Sasuke said with a smile.

It took about ten minutes before the excitement of their reunion began to settle. Naturally, everyone wanted answers, especially after such a long disappearance.

Sasuke didn't even need to say anything, as Boruto eagerly took over the conversation, excited to share everything that had happened.

In short, they had traveled to a different timeline, one affected by the vanishing of Ryūmyaku power, which had left them stranded. It took over four years for the energy to recharge, allowing them to finally return.

During their time in the past, they learned many things about history, encountered powerful and legendary figures, and eventually became disciples of Uchiha Setsuna.

After Boruto finished telling the story, all eyes turned to the man who stood beside him.

"Hi," greeted Setsuna casually.

"Hello there," Naruto replied with a friendly smile.

"You really look like a mix between Hashirama and Kawaki," commented Setsuna, inspecting him curiously.

Naruto was taken aback, then laughed at the unexpected comparison.

"So, you're the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki of this timeline," Setsuna continued. "But… why can't I feel anything from your body?"

Naruto was visibly surprised by the question, and even Sasuke and Boruto seemed startled.

"What? How do you know that?" asked Naruto cautiously.

"They're the ones who told me," Setsuna replied, pointing at Boruto and Sasuke. "And the reason I could sense that you were a Jinchūriki in the first place is because…"

Suddenly, Setsuna body lit up with a radiant golden-red chakra cloak—he had entered KCM 3 Mode.

"I'm also a Jinchūriki," Setsuna said with a calm smile.
