Naruto: Dual-Pupil Uchiha

As the two opened their eyes, they both stumbled back several meters, vigilantly watching each other.

Their conversation in the spiritual world hadn't gone smoothly, and there was even a tense atmosphere between them.

So, after leaving the spiritual world, they immediately entered combat mode, ready to strike at anyone if necessary.

"Itachi, stop being stubborn. Come back with me and apologize to the clan members who died because of you, to lessen your guilt!" Uchiha Shisui's eyes grew colder. 

"This way, when you go to the Pure Land, you can be at peace!"

"No, I still have things to do. I can't go back with you!" Uchiha Itachi decisively shook his head, beginning to retreat. 

"Once everything is finished, I will personally go to the clan and apologize, but not now!"

"I can't die yet!"

As Itachi spoke, his figure had already moved ten meters back.

The situation wasn't in his favor, especially with Genya around. If he didn't leave now, it might be too late to escape later.

Itachi moved back to Kisame's side, who was still coughing up blood. He helped Kisame up, a look of surprise in his eyes.

Genya spared Kisame's life?

"Mr. Itachi, you can leave on your own. Heh, at this point, I probably can't do anything for the Akatsuki anymore!" Kisame said bitterly.

Itachi's title as "Mr. Itachi" was still a joke to Kisame, a term of lifelong trust.

Just now, Genya really had overwhelmed him. No matter what they competed in, the man with the monkey mask was always stronger—whether it was ninjutsu, taijutsu, or chakra reserves.

He felt like a useless waste, a true failure.

Especially since he had even lost his weapon.

"Don't say that. You are also an essential member of the organization. Since we're forming a team, I'll do my best to ensure your safety!" Itachi's cold words echoed as he leaped onto the trees with the blood-spitting Kisame, heading into the distance.

"Itachi!" Shisui watched Itachi leave and was about to chase after him, determined to bring him back to Konoha.

"Let them go. We still have a mission!" Genya glanced at the two disappearing figures, his eyes gleaming for a moment.

The reason he allowed Itachi to leave was because he owed Itachi a small favor for informing him about Hidan. 

As for Kisame, he was just a pitiful soul. He hoped they wouldn't become enemies next time; if so, he'd have no choice but to send him to the Pure Land.

Just a small interlude.

In an instant, only Genya and his two companions remained, along with Orochimaru, who was also present, and the two sealed individuals—Kimimaro and Jugo.

"Heh. They both left me behind to escape. I wasted my time inviting them!" Orochimaru chuckled bitterly, a strange smile lingering on his pale face.

It seemed like he wasn't too angry that Itachi had left him behind.

"Now, it's just the four of us." Genya focused on observing Orochimaru, one of the legendary Sannin of Konoha. 

A formidable ninja, his strength and research skills were top-tier, not to mention his terrifying life-saving abilities.

Orochimaru seemed to have an almost inexhaustible lifespan.

"Lord, if you have something to say, just speak it," Orochimaru said, his arms crossed. There was a touch of curiosity in his eyes as he leaned against a nearby tree.

His tone was casual, without the usual caution one might expect when facing a formidable opponent.

"Oh? Aren't you afraid we'll make a move on you?" Genya asked, noticing Orochimaru's relaxed demeanor.

"No, you won't act." Orochimaru shook his head and began to analyze, "If you truly wanted to kill me, you wouldn't have let Itachi and Kisame leave. Even if you did, you would've struck me immediately after. But you did neither, which means you don't want to kill me... or perhaps you have something else for me to do?"

Orochimaru spoke at length, but of course, there was one thing he didn't mention—if Atsukara wanted Kimimaro to obediently follow them, they would have to ensure his safety.

Of course, this was just Orochimaru's assumption.

"Indeed, I didn't plan to kill you this time!" Genya nodded with a smile, then continued, "Of course, if I get some unsatisfactory answers today, or if you piss me off, I will make sure you're not happy either!"

The statement seemed like a threat, but also like a playful tease.

"I don't like unnecessary chatter. If you have something to say, just say it!" Orochimaru, not one for beating around the bush, spoke decisively. 

"If I can help, I will. If I can't, you'll just have to find someone else."

"Straightforward, I like that. Let's start with the first question!" Genya smiled, then pointed at the sealed Kimimaro and Jugo. "Can I take these two with me?"

This was the reason he came here, and it was also a way to make sure Orochimaru fulfilled his agreement with Hayashi.

Upon hearing about Kimimaro and Jugo, Hayashi also walked over, his eyes staring sharply at Orochimaru.

The bet he had made with Orochimaru was one that Orochimaru did not want to honor, and he had even teamed up with others to keep him here.

If it weren't for Genya showing up, he might have already been captured by Itachi's genjutsu. How could he not be angry?

"This is the bet. As long as Wood Ox can leave here, then Kimimaro and Jugo will go with him!" Orochimaru also smiled and spoke, using the bet as an excuse.

If Wood Ox can leave, then Kimimaro and Jugo can leave too. If Wood Ox cannot leave, then naturally, neither can Kimimaro and Jugo!

"You..." Wood Ox was still furious at Orochimaru's words.

But Genya stopped him and instead spoke to Hayashi. 

"Wood Ox, release them. Let Orochimaru explain things to them. If they don't cooperate when we get back, we might have to put in a little extra effort."

"Yes!" Hayashi nodded respectfully, then used Wood Release to control two sealing spheres and slowly began to release the seals in front of the group.

During this time, Orochimaru kept watching Hayashi and Shisui's actions. They were both very respectful towards Genya, which made him even more curious about who the person wearing the monkey mask was.

The Wood Release seals were broken, revealing Kimimaro and Jugo inside! 

Jugo, known for his short temper, immediately saw the Wood Ox trio and his aura shifted. He charged straight towards Genya.

Clearly dissatisfied with the outcome of the previous battle!

However, before he could reach them, an invisible energy sent him flying back.

Then, Genya's cold voice rang out, "Bind him!"

Hayashi nodded and used vines to restrain Jugo again.

In contrast to Jugo, Kimimaro remained much calmer. He first observed the surroundings, then fixed his gaze on Orochimaru.

It seemed like he was waiting for Orochimaru's response.

"We lost the bet. You'll leave with them."
