Naruto: Dual-Pupil Uchiha

Is the time approaching?

Genya stood at the top of the Merchant Association's Police Force tower, gazing at the sky, murmuring softly to himself.

Logically speaking, his involvement in establishing the Merchant Association's Police Force division should have weakened Fugaku's influence. 

Given that, Fugaku's idea of a coup should have been delayed for a while. But now, it seemed that the situation was actually pushing the time forward!

A couple of days ago, he had sent his father to persuade Uchiha Fugaku, but instead, his father had been met with disdain!

His father was now thoroughly enraged with Fugaku.

Fugaku had once greatly admired Sarutobi Sasuke, but now he hated Sarutobi Hiruzen with a passion!

Where he had once been loyal and obedient to Konoha, now he hated it even more.

It was simply maddening! 

He had been suppressed by Sarutobi Hiruzen and now he wanted revenge!

At this moment, Genya understood Fugaku's feelings, and of course, he understood Fugaku's actions too.

If only Uchiha Shisui and Itachi were truly on Fugaku's side, perhaps this coup would actually succeed. 

But unfortunately, the two people he relied on the most had been completely brainwashed by the Third Hokage!

Fugaku's coup was doomed to fail!

He looked at the whole of Konoha, then glanced back at the Uchiha clan, his expression growing more serious.

With Fugaku's current state, the village would soon make a move, and Shisui's secret would be exposed. When that happens, Sarutobi Hiruzen would absolutely not spare Shisui!

"Genya, what are you thinking?" Uchiha Kinya asked as he looked at the melancholic expression on his son's face.

"Father, what do you think about us leaving the village?" Genya asked as he gazed up at the sky. It was a question he had been pondering for a long time.

Though his strength had grown, the actions of Sarutobi Hiruzen against the Uchiha clan were becoming more intense.

He didn't know if he could protect the Uchiha clan during the night of the massacre, nor if the Third Hokage would send his own people to take action.

If possible, he didn't want the massacre to happen at all.

"Leaving the village, you say?" Uchiha Kinya narrowed his eyes when he heard this. But he shook his head. 

"Let's not talk about other things. If it's just the ninja in our clan, it's still possible. But... if we include the civilians, it's nearly impossible. They've already become accustomed to this peaceful way of life."

"And..."

As he continued, Uchiha Kinya hesitated.

Genya furrowed his brow but finished his father's thought, "And if we leave Konoha and establish our own village, then countless people will have their eyes on the new village we build, just like the old Uzushiogakure!"

As he spoke, his tone became heavy.

The Uchiha clan now lacks the powerful strength to defend it. It's like a billion dollars left on the road with no one to protect it. Everyone wants a piece of the Sharingan that can be transplanted!

So,

It's not the right time to leave the village yet!

At least in Konoha, they know who their enemies are. But outside of Konoha, things are uncertain!

"Genya-kun, this village was founded by both the Uchiha and Senju clans. Why should we leave?" Uchiha Shin said angrily, his voice tinged with some surprise!

This was their Uchiha's village!

Why should the Uchihas think about leaving?

"Perhaps Madara foresaw this outcome long ago!" Uchiha Kinya also looked up at the sky, quietly muttering.

Madara had always predicted that the Uchiha clan would eventually be excluded from power in Konoha. That's why he wanted to take the Uchiha clan and create his own village.

But,

The villagers didn't leave, and in the end, only Madara left alone, isolated and lonely.

"True. If Madara had taken the clan with him back then, how could we have such great trouble?" Genya's eyes held a hint of melancholy.

With that,

Genya's heart calmed. He made up his mind: on the night of the massacre, he would first protect his family, then think about the others.

And there's one more thing.

Should he try to stop Itachi now, or erase him before anything happens?

Right now, Itachi hasn't activated the Mangekyō Sharingan. If he does, it will be a huge problem!

Itachi is probably already under the Third Hokage's watch, and he likely has Shisui by his side!

That would make any action very easy to expose.

Besides, someone else might already be planning to kill Itachi.

It's better to wait for an opportunity and talk to Shisui first.

The question he had asked Shisui before, Shisui should have an answer for it now!

Outside of Konoha!

Itachi and Shisui were still training against each other. After the Uchiha clan established the Police Force division for the merchant association, Itachi hadn't returned to the so-called Uchiha training ground.

This was Itachi and Shisui!

But this time, once again, it was Shisui who won!

In terms of combat strength, Itachi still wasn't Shisui's match.

Both of them were exhausted from the fight, so they lay down on the grass, letting the wind blow through and gazing up at the sky.

"You really plan to use your Mangekyō Sharingan to stop the coup?" Itachi finally asked the question he had been wondering about.

"…It's the best option," Shisui nodded. A light breeze blew through his hair, and his innocent eyes, still full of hope, gazed toward the future.

He hoped for peace in the village and safety for his clan.

Shisui had always worked toward that goal.

"I hope it will succeed," Itachi nodded as well, though a sense of melancholy lingered in his heart.

Ever since he left the Hokage's office that day, he had felt a strange sensation in his chest. It was an unsettling feeling he couldn't explain or fully understand.

But that ominous and lonely feeling never left him, constantly haunting him from within.

"It will definitely succeed!" Shisui nodded seriously.

Itachi nodded in return, giving a careful reminder: "Be cautious with everything."

After saying that,

Itachi stood up and looked at Shisui, who was still lying on the grass. "I have to leave now."

At that moment, a gentle breeze blew through, lifting the clothes of the Uchiha clan, creating a unique atmosphere.

He turned and left.

After years of being together, the two had developed a mutual understanding.

After resting for a while, Shisui looked up at the sky and, seeing the time, stood up to head back to Konoha.

But just as he was about to move, his expression immediately became serious. He scanned the surroundings!

He adopted a defensive posture.

At the same time,

Several shurikens were thrown at him, each one aimed directly at his vital spots!
