Naruto: Different Path

Chojuro and Ketsueki immediately recognized the Thunder God Sword in Naruto's hand, along with the iconic Lightning Release chakra. 

Even though Naruto was wearing a mask, they knew right away that he was their archenemy, the infamous Black Flash. 

Ketsueki, consumed by fury, charged forward with his "Water Wave Fist," shouting, "I didn't think you'd show up again! This time, I'll make sure you die!"

Naruto calmly held the Thunder God Sword in front of him, the immense Sage Mode chakra enhancing the sword's power to unimaginable levels. 

With just a slight motion, he easily blocked Ketsueki's powerful strike.

Ao activated his Byakugan and carefully observed Naruto. 

His expression turned grave as he shouted at Ketsueki, who was still pressing the attack, "Be careful! This man's chakra is overwhelmingly strong, far beyond anything we've ever seen." 

"And his Lightning Release... it's on an entirely different level! If this person is from Konoha, there's only one explanation—he's the legendary Black Flash!"

With a flick of his sword, Naruto's chakra reverberated through the air, sending Ketsueki flying backwards. 

Thanks to his formidable defence, Ketsueki emerged unscathed. He turned to Ao and smirked. 

"I already knew it was him. But this time, we have the numbers. No matter how strong he is, we can take him down."

Ketsueki began to manipulate the blood coursing through his body, preparing to attack Naruto. 

Sensing this, Ao quickly intervened. "Wait! You don't understand his strength!" 

"Besides, our mission was only to eliminate the Konoha ninja working on the fortifications." 

"That objective is complete. There's no need to risk further confrontation!"

Naruto laughed. "The fortification ninjas? You must mean the Earth Release experts from Konoha." 

"It's too bad—none of them are dead. Want to know why? Because I arrived in time and wiped out your Mist nin."

When Naruto had arrived earlier, the Mist ninjas tasked with pursuing the Konoha team immediately realized they were no match and tried to flee. 

These elite trackers had exceptional speed and attack techniques, but Naruto unleashed his Lightning Release at full force, surrounding himself with crackling lightning as the Thunder God Sword grew to the size of a massive blade.

Naruto threw several kunai infused with lightning chakra, transforming them into streaks of light that pursued the fleeing Mist nin. 

One was struck directly, collapsing as lightning coursed through his body. The others narrowly avoided the kunai, but their relief was short-lived. 

With his Flying Thunder God Slash, Naruto suddenly appeared beside another ninja, who disintegrated into ash under the power of the Thunder God Sword.

Naruto's speed and Sage Mode sensing made evasion impossible. In mere moments, the pursuing Mist nin were obliterated, leaving no trace behind. 

The Konoha ninjas, stunned by what they had just witnessed, watched as their enemy, who had been so fearsome moments ago, vanished in an instant. 

Naruto sheathed the Thunder God Sword and asked, "Where did you come from, and are there any other enemies?"

The Konoha ninjas, awe-struck, could barely speak. 

One of them finally swallowed nervously and replied with deep respect, "Lord Danzo is battling powerful Mist ninjas." 

"The situation doesn't look good." He then pointed out Danzo's location.

Naruto arrived just in time to see Danzo retreating, leading to the current confrontation.

Ao, realizing Naruto wasn't lying, sighed in resignation. "It seems this mission has been a complete failure." 

Ketsueki, undeterred, growled, "There's no need to be so pessimistic. Last time, we only lost because of his tricks." 

"Now that he's killed so many of our Mist nin, we have to take him down!"

Without waiting, Ketsueki launched his attack, extending his blood claws toward Naruto. 

As they neared, the claws expanded into a massive, wide-reaching strike. Naruto raised the Thunder God Sword, pouring immense chakra into it. 

The sword grew into an enormous blade crackling with lightning. Naruto thrust forward, and the blood claws shattered upon impact. 

The sword then pierced Ketsueki's body, splitting him in half. The destructive power of the Lightning Release obliterated most of his body.

Chojuro caught what remained of Ketsueki and pulled him back to safety. 

Although Ketsueki's body regenerated, the intense chakra consumption left him pale and barely able to stand. 

Struggling to speak, Ketsueki muttered, "How is this possible? I injured him before… even if his strength has improved, the gap shouldn't be this wide!"

Ketsueki leaned against Chojuro for support, his expression filled with disbelief. 

"It's like his techniques are on a completely different level now. But how could anyone improve so much in such a short time?"

Naruto chuckled. "It's not that I've improved so much—it's just that you haven't improved at all. That's the difference between talent and mediocrity."

Hearing this, Ketsueki couldn't help but feel a sense of despair. Despite his constant training, achieving a breakthrough seemed impossible.

Danzo, watching from behind, realized Naruto's overwhelming strength.

Though wary of the political challenges Naruto posed, he saw the advantage in this situation. 

Danzo called out to Naruto, "That Mist ninja named Ao possesses a Byakugan that belongs to Konoha's Hyuga clan." 

"Such a precious Kekkei Genkai must not fall into the hands of outsiders. Kill him if you can."

Naruto turned slightly, surprised to hear Danzo say "please." 

Although Danzo was unpleasant, it was clear he prioritized Konoha's interests above all else. 

At that moment, Ketsueki stepped forward, his body exuding a strange liquid, preparing to rely on his strong defenses to withstand Naruto's attacks.

Ao, sensing the danger, shouted, "Their strength far exceeds ours. We need to escape now, or it will be too late!"

Naruto pointed the Thunder God Sword at Ao, smirking. "So you've already realized my strength using that Byakugan." 

"But don't forget, the Byakugan is Konoha's Kekkei Genkai. If you willingly surrender it, I might consider letting you live." 

The glow of the Thunder God Sword grew brighter as he spoke. 

Although Ao could feel Naruto's immense strength, he stood firm and said, "This Byakugan is a precious trophy of Kirigakure." 

"Being able to implant it is the greatest honor of my life. Even if it costs me my life, I must protect this Byakugan."

Naruto replied, "If that's the case, I have no other choice. As a Konoha shinobi, safeguarding the village's interests is one of my principles." 

"The Byakugan, a bloodline limit of Konoha, cannot be used by outsiders."

Naruto drew four kunai, infusing each with lightning-style chakra. 

With a flick of his wrist, he hurled them, following up with another four kunai, which intercepted the first set mid-air, altering their trajectories toward Ao. 

The ANBU behind Ao immediately stepped forward, wielding his chakra-enhanced blade to block the incoming kunai.

With a series of clangs, most of the kunai were deflected. However, the sheer force behind them pushed the ANBU backward. 

Before he could regain his footing, Naruto appeared in front of him. With a flash of the Thunder God Sword, the ANBU was reduced to ash.

Naruto swiftly grabbed Ao, lightning chakra coursing through Ao's body, rendering him immobile. 

The remaining ANBU didn't have time to react before Naruto reappeared next to Danzo and two ROOT members, tossing Ao at their feet.

Naruto said, "Danzo-sama, I'll leave him to you. Please ensure he is taken back to Hokage-sama."

Naruto's swift actions neutralized the troublesome foe in an instant. 

Danzo gestured for the ROOT members to restrain Ao and said to Naruto, "Since you captured him, he must be handed over to Hokage-sama." 

"We'll leave this area to you."

One of the ROOT members hesitated and said, "Danzo-sama, shouldn't we stay and assist Black Flash? The enemy numbers are significant."

Danzo replied, "Can't you see? Staying here would only hinder him." With that, he left with his subordinates.

Chojuro, deeply concerned for Ao, charged forward, shouting, "Release Ao immediately!" 

He activated Hiramekarei, the massive sword growing even larger as he infused it with chakra, then swung it ferociously at Naruto.

Naruto met the attack with the Thunder God Sword. 

The clash of chakra created a powerful shockwave, and Chojuro was sent flying by Naruto's overwhelming chakra.

Meanwhile, Ketsueki strengthened his defenses, a viscous, chakra-infused liquid pouring from his body. 

The liquid formed a massive shield around him, and he confidently declared, "My defense is impenetrable!" 

He then launched a punch imbued with his Water Wave Fist at Naruto, only for it to be effortlessly blocked.

Ketsueki sneered, "Black Flash, while my attacks may not harm you, my true specialty is defense."

With a desperate charge, Ketsueki rushed toward Naruto.

Naruto wielded his Thunder God Sword, now enlarged with surging lightning chakra. 

The energy radiating from the blade was so immense that it could pierce through a mountain with ease. 

As the sword clashed with Ketsueki's liquid shield, the chakra in the liquid surged to counter Naruto's attack. 

The clash created a standstill as the blade slowed just before reaching Ketsueki's body.

Chojuro, who was about to retreat, froze upon witnessing the scene, thinking, Can I really escape from such a powerful enemy? 

With some reluctant, he seized the moment to flee.

Seeing them escape, Naruto smiled. "If that's the case, I'll consider it a message for the Mizukage."

Ketsueki gritted his teeth and roared, "Don't get cocky! Your attack couldn't even break my defense."

Other ANBU members launched attacks to distract Naruto, who simply muttered, "Is that so?"

Gripping the Thunder God Sword, Naruto began to spin rapidly. 

The sword spun with him, resembling an enormous electric drill surrounded by crackling lightning and violent chakra waves. 

The sheer force of Naruto's spinning attack caused Ketsueki's liquid shield to burst like a balloon.

The once-impenetrable defense shattered, and Naruto's sword pierced through Ketsueki's body. 

Nearby ANBU attacks glanced off Naruto's Lightning Armor, while close-combat ANBU were swiftly dispatched.

Paralyzed by the lightning coursing through him, Ketsueki gasped, "How... how is this possible? My defense has never been broken."

Naruto replied, "Every jutsu has a weakness. As shinobi, we must continuously refine our techniques. That's one lesson." 

"The second? In the face of absolute power, technique is meaningless."

Ketsueki's expression shifted as realization dawned on him in his final moments. 

Summoning the last of his strength, he shouted, "Run! Don't waste your lives. You're no match for him!"

Hearing his words, the remaining enemies attempted to flee. Naruto increased his chakra output, reducing Ketsueki to ash. 

The formidable Kirigakure shinobi was gone, his last act one of defiance.

Naruto didn't intend to let the others escape. 

He unleashed a barrage of kunai infused with chakra, scattering them like streaks of light toward the fleeing shinobi. 

Whether hit directly or not, Naruto's speed and precision ensured none survived.

To the last shinobi who narrowly evaded the initial attack, Naruto merely launched one final strike, sealing their fate.

Having eliminated all opposition, Naruto retracted the Thunder God Sword, bringing the conflict in this area to a close.
