"Oh, so that's how it is!" Tsunade suddenly realized something. "I remember now, she's actually best friends with that Uchiha girl. So you know her too, huh? Well, that makes sense!"

"That's right! The sealing jutsu teacher I found for you is her. What do you think? Satisfied? Touched?"

"You know, the Uzumaki Clan used to be famous in the ninja world for their sealing techniques. It was what they were best at. But unfortunately..."

At this point, she thought of the now-destroyed Uzushiogakure and the Uzumaki Clan. She couldn't help but feel a little down, especially as memories of her grandmother, Uzumaki Mito, surfaced in her mind.

After a brief moment, she shook it off and proceeded to seal all the documents related to medical tags into a sealing scroll on her desk. Then, she turned to Uchiha Kira and said, "Let's go! First, we're heading to my place. After that, I'll take you to meet Kushina."

Without another word, she strode out of the office. Uchiha Kira stood there momentarily stunned by her swift actions.

"What are you standing there for? Hurry up!" Tsunade's voice rang out from outside.

"Yes, yes!" Kira quickly snapped out of it and rushed to catch up. Before long, they arrived at Tsunade's home.

This was once the Senju Clan's territory.

"Wait here. I'm going to grab something."

After stepping into the courtyard and reaching the living room, Tsunade gestured for Kira to stay put before heading deeper inside. A while later, she returned with a large space-sealing scroll in hand and handed it to him.

"Here, take it. This contains all the sealing jutsu knowledge I have. I'm lending it to you."

"Make sure you return it once you're done!"

"Also, don't share it with any other Uchiha. Got it?"

Although she didn't mind Kira being from the Uchiha Clan, that didn't mean she liked the rest of them. In fact, she generally disliked most Uchiha.

She had grown up surrounded by people who didn't hold favorable views of them, and most of the Uchiha she encountered had rather unpleasant personalities. So, it was only natural she wasn't fond of them.

"Understood. I won't share it with anyone else," Kira promised sincerely, taking the scroll.

The fact that Tsunade was willing to entrust him with something this valuable showed that she truly trusted and valued him. He wasn't someone who would take that for granted.

"Alright, let's go find Kushina! She should be home around this time, right?"

With that uncertainty, Tsunade and Kira made their way to Kushina's house.

Which, as it turned out, was just two doors down from Tsunade's place.

"Kushina, are you home?" Tsunade called out from outside the courtyard.

"I'm here! I'm here! Tsunade-nee, you came?"

A lively response came from inside, followed by the sound of hurried footsteps. Moments later, with a loud creak, the door swung open, revealing a red-haired girl with a bright smile.

She was about to throw herself into Tsunade's arms when she suddenly noticed Kira standing beside her.

Her eyes lit up with curiosity as she asked, "Tsunade-nee, who's this cute little guy?"

She couldn't help it. Kira was just too good-looking.

Meanwhile, Kira was quietly observing Kushina, thinking to himself, "So at this point in time, she hasn't been saved by Minato yet, and she hasn't fallen for him..."

"On the contrary, she actually dislikes him right now because of his clumsy way of expressing his feelings..."

"Which means... I might actually have a chance?"

Oh ho ho...

This was getting interesting.

After all, Kushina was undeniably cute and beautiful, just as much as Mikoto—though in a completely different way.

"Back in my past life, a lot of fans analyzed the whole 'Minato saving Kushina' incident and found tons of plot holes in it."

"Some conspiracy theorists even believed that the whole thing was orchestrated and approved by the Third Hokage."

"The goal? To make Kushina develop an emotional bond with Minato and, in turn, with Konoha—ensuring her loyalty." Kira pondered.

As for Minato's role in all of this, whether he was just an unwitting pawn or actually in on the plan, that was up for debate.

Personally, Kira leaned toward the idea that Minato was simply a pawn.

After all, he was a pure-hearted Konoha civilian with immense talent, Jiraiya's disciple, and someone who wholeheartedly believed in the Third Hokage and the Will of Fire.

Plus, he had an undeniable connection with Kushina.

"Oh, him?"

Tsunade noticed Kushina's interest and smirked mischievously. She reached out and pinched both Kira and Kushina's cheeks. "He's my disciple, Uchiha Kira. What do you think? Cute, right? Impressive? Feeling a little heart-throb?"

"Ah!"

Kushina's face turned red. She swatted Tsunade's hand away and quickly retorted, "No way! Tsunade-nee, you're just teasing me again!"

Despite her protests, she couldn't help but steal another curious glance at Kira. "So you're the Kira that Mikoto keeps talking about! No wonder she always praises you. You really are pretty cute!"

With a playful grin, she reached out and pinched Kira's cheek.

Her outgoing nature quickly took over, and she greeted him as if they had known each other forever. "Hey there! I'm Kushina, Uzumaki Kushina. Nice to meet ya!"

"Uh… nice to meet you too."

Kira gently pushed away both Kushina's and Tsunade's hands, feeling a little speechless.

"Hehe! You really don't act like a three-year-old at all! Anyway, come in!"

Kushina laughed and led them into the house, ushering them into the living room.

She enthusiastically poured tea for both Kira and Tsunade and even brought out some snacks.

Tsunade couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "You say you're not interested in Kira, yet you're being way too nice to him. Tea and snacks? Kushina, you're totally exposing yourself!"

"I am NOT!"

Kushina immediately defended herself. "It's just that Kira is Mikoto's little brother, and since I'm Mikoto's best friend, that makes Kira my little brother too!"

"When a little brother visits for the first time, of course, I should treat him well!"

"As for you, Tsunade-nee…"

She shot Tsunade a pointed look. "We've known each other for so long. Why would I bother being polite to you?"

"Speaking of which, aren't you about due to pay me back the money you owe?"

Tsunade froze. Then, with a forced laugh, she waved it off. "Alright, alright, I'll stop teasing you. And about the money… come on, we're like family! Why bring up debts?"

She was broke. Deeply in debt.

Money? Yeah, right.
