Sasuke get even more angry, yelling, "WHAT? ARE YOU TELLING ME NOT TO AVENGE MY CLAN AND MY PARENTS? SHALL I JUST FORGIVE ITACHI?"

Kakashi let Sasuke blurt out his inner feelings and calmly said, "I am not telling you not to fulfill your revenge of killing Itachi, but I don't want you to make that your lifelong dream, a singular goal of your life and be consumed by darkness."

"And believe me when I say it, the goals you are calling your dreams aren't your own, but thrown on you by Itachi. First, you will live to kill Itachi and then for the revival of your Clan. But amidst this, when will you lived for yourself?"

Sasuke fell completely silent for a few moments. At first, he thought Kakashi was trying to tell him to give up his dream, but Kakashi clarified that wasn't the case. However, the things Kakashi said made him question the last four and a half years since the Uchiha massacre.

He had brooded all day, thinking about only one thing—to kill Itachi, only then could he feel his life would be fulfilled. But now he questioned, was that really his own dream? His desire for revenge against Itachi was fueled by Itachi, and even to have hatred for Itachi was also fueled by Itachi.

He thought, 'What was my dream before that cursed night? I only wanted to become strong, not for any revenge but to impress Father, gain praise from... from Itachi!'

He clenched his fist even harder, drawing blood from his palm. Kakashi wanted to leave Sasuke to think about this further, but for now, he had another reason to call him here.

"Sasuke, all I say is not to waste your life for revenge and Clan alone," he said. "You can try to revive your clan, but if you can't, then don't let it bother yourself, and live life for yourself as well."

Sasuke was once again dumbfounded; he wanted to say yes immediately but paused and thought, 'Am I about to say yes, because I will gain power to kill Itachi in the future? DAMN!'

He grunted, took a few deep breaths, and then nodded, while asking, "But can you really help me evolving my Sharingan? But you just told that negative or positive emotions are needed."

Kakashi explained, "Emotional turmoil is needed for awakening mostly; evolving it to next stages can be done even without that, but obviously that would be a little difficult. That involves intense training and combat experience with mastery over skills."

"As you hone your skills, push yourself to the limits in battles, and consistently use your Sharingan, it will naturally evolve and gain more Tomoe and perception."

Sasuke was now a little calm, heard Kakashi properly, and asked, "Is that also how you were able to evolve your eye as well?"

Kakashi, without any thought, just nodded; it was better if Sasuke just believed him. "Those things are needed for the Three-Tomoe Sharingan stage," he said.

"But I think that you might gain the Two-Tomoe stage, maybe. I want to test a thing with you, if it succeeds, you might really evolve your Sharingan one step further."

Sasuke was stunned, looked at Kakashi in disbelief, and asked, "Are you telling me the truth?"

Kakashi shrugged. "As I say, if it succeeds, then you might gain the Two-Tomoe stage in your Sharingan. So, are you ready...?"

Sasuke closed his eyes, calmed his nerves, and nodded with determination. "Yes, I am," he said. "Try what thing you said about."

Kakashi said, "Well, I actually meant, are you ready to meet your brother Itachi once again?"

Sasuke grew confused, his eyes widened with anger unknowingly boiling in him, and he asked, "What do—"

"Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique!" Kakashi muttered the name of the technique, while looking into Sasuke's eyes, whose gaze immediately fell into a blank state, didn't let him spoke any further.

Even though Kakashi told him that even positive emotions could also evolve Sharingan, he knew that intense negative emotions are most convenient, those triggers, helped in evolving Sharingan for any Uchiha. And this D-rank Hell Viewing Technique Genjutsu was best for that job, at least that's what Kakashi thought.

After all, this Genjutsu could help Kakashi make Sasuke re-live his deepest fear and dreadful night. And just as he expected, Sasuke, upon being affected by the Genjutsu, found himself on the very same night of the Uchiha massacre.

Sasuke started to scream, cursed, and all those intense emotions he had felt on that night once again surfaced on his face and words. Kakashi calmly looked at him, a little anticipating if this would work or not.

After all, he had just gotten this idea hours ago; if it worked, then it would be better, better for Sasuke and his future. After some time, Sasuke collapsed, and Kakashi picked him up and carried him back to the Uchiha Clan compound, and into Sasuke's house.

After putting Sasuke on his bed, Kakashi glanced at the sleeping, or more like unconscious, fainted Sasuke for once.

He thought, 'Looks like it's very intense for him to see all those events of the Uchiha massacre night, that's why he fainted, but I hope that tomorrow when he wakes up, his eyes will already be evolved, if he got lucky, it would be Two-Tomoe Sharingan.'

'And if he got even more lucky, then the Three-Tomoe Sharingan stage is also not far off. But for that, I have to wait until tomorrow.'

With that, Kakashi went back to his own house, to sleep as well, but he was still anticipating if Sasuke would really be able to evolve his Sharingan.
