Chapter 27: [CHAPTER 27] The Uchiha-Uzumaki Rivalry; Measuring Success in Hours, Not Days!
A few days passed. Kakashi sat under the tree shades, as the midday's cool air touched his skin, and in front of him, Naruto and Sasuke, with their Shadow Clones, practiced Water Walking.
After quickly mastering Tree Walking within the next two days, Naruto and Sasuke went on to learn Water Walking. However, Kakashi's gaze, despite being ahead, wasn't fixed on Naruto and Sasuke; rather, it was on his system panel, the interface of his stats.
Kakashi mused, 'Strange! It's really strange!'
[Host: Kakashi Hatake]
[Chakra Pool: 14,452/448,000 (Divided with Shadow Clones)]
[Chakra Control: 90/100]
[Chakra Level: Quasi-Kage (Chūnin)]
[Chakra Affinity: All]
[Chakra Growth: +20,000 per day]
Kakashi's chakra pool had increased a lot, to the point that now he could use up to hundreds of Shadow Clones, though he still wouldn't, because he wouldn't be able to handle the information his mind would be forced to process upon his Shadow Clone's dispersion, plus leaves him with only Genin level Chakra.
He even calculated that now his chakra reserves were approximately 1.5 times higher than that of Hiruzen, who had told him on the day Kakashi requested the Four-Symbol Seal scroll that his chakra reserves were somewhat equal to his.
At that time, his chakra reserves were approximately 300,000, and now they were around 450,000, and yet, he was still labeled as "Quasi-Kage."
Kakashi questioned himself, still a little disbelieving of the vast difference that one rank alone could have. "Just what number would my chakra reserves need to be at the level of a standard Kage or at One-Tail's Shukaku's level?" he wondered.
Though his chakra control also increased by 1 point, but his chakra control always was good, so he didn't dwell on it much. He knew that it was most probably because of his Shadow Clones diligently training in applying Fire Nature in Rasengan and in Fūinjutsu.
Though his Fire Rasengan training would still take him months, his Fūinjutsu training was going on quite well. Within the next couple of days, his Shadow Clones would master the Four-Symbol Seal, then he could have them train further.
He thought of either directly starting to try to create the Dimension-type seal he wanted, by merging the Four-Symbol Seal with the Storage Seal, or having his Shadow Clones apply two Four-Symbol Seals to learn the Eight-Trigram Seal by himself.
After all, the Eight-Trigram Seal, despite being more difficult and powerful than the Four-Symbol Seal, is actually just a combination and overlaps of two Four-Symbol Seals, which Kakashi thought might be difficult, but obviously not impossible with his continuous dedicated hard work of his Shadow Clones.
But even then, the question about the limit a chakra pool can have was quite intriguing for him. He pondered, "My chakra pool was at around 125,000 when transmigrated, and was labeled Jōnin, but now my chakra reserves are easily 3.5 times higher than that number, yet it's still not a full-fledged Kage."
"I wonder just how much chakra reserves Hashirama Senju would actually have, even Madara Uchiha, since both of them fought each other for days at the Valley of the End, and if I remember correctly, they didn't even awaken Ashura and Indra's Chakra within them, like Hagoromo did for Naruto and Sasuke in the Fourth Ninja War arc."
He then thought a bit more and remembered that the system even said it would reach and surpass the Ten-Tail's reserves, though without the powers of the God Tree fruit. But even those reserves alone would be inexhaustible.
He considered, "If I really have chakra of that level, then what number would they have? Maybe in many millions, I suppose." He chuckled at his thoughts; even his current chakra reserves for him were almost inexhaustible. That number in the future would be even mind-blowing stuff.
He shook these thoughts off for now and looked at Naruto and Sasuke, who were practicing Water Walking and continued to lose balance and splash inside the river.
Even though their chakra control had improved a lot, especially for Naruto, whose chakra had been interfered with by Kurama, making it hard for him to practice chakra control exercises mastered Tree Walking now, but Water Walking wasn't that simple.
Each stage and practice of Chakra Control exercises is harder than the other, like first Leaf Concentration, where a ninja only has to maintain the leaf's position on their forehead with their chakra alone.
That thing also was quite hard, but than there's Tree Walking. Though Kakashi had Naruto and Sasuke learn Wall Walking first, as a smooth surface would be better, but a tree didn't have a smooth surface, which made it an effective Chakra Control exercise.
And now lastly, Water Walking is the most difficult, as unlike the previous ones, the water surface isn't a physical surface, so the need for concentration of chakra becomes even more crucial, which with just a slight loss in focus can result in...
Splash!
Just then Naruto splashed in the water; bubbles appeared on the surface of water, then Naruto swam out onto the ground. "Why is this thing so difficult?" he complained.
Just then, a few of his Shadow Clones also splashed in the river, and then even Sasuke, who also swam out, completely drenched and wet. Naruto laughed a little at himself and Sasuke.
"Oh, so even the great Uchiha can't learn it easily!" He said, didn't forget to taunt Sasuke.
Sasuke snorted, crossing his arms, "Hmph, even then, I can assure you that I will master it much earlier than you, like I did with Wall Walking and Tree Walking!"
Naruto stood up, pointing his finger at Sasuke. "It was only the difference of several hours! We mastered Wall Walking and Tree Walking on the same day!" he yelled.
Sasuke grinned. "But still... I won!"
Kakashi, a few meters away from them, sitting under the tree shades, smiled at their bickering and thought, 'Would they still fight at the Valley of the End as it was destined for Ashura and Indra's reincarnations to clash?'
