Konan and Nagato were summoned to the leader's residence by Yahiko, only to find a blond-haired man already seated in the living room.

Upon taking a closer look at the man's face, both of them were taken aback.

"You are…"

This man was none other than the S-rank rogue ninja currently wanted by Konoha—Namikaze Minato!

However, the Minato before them now looked far more weathered.

The man they remembered had been a bright and handsome young shinobi, always wearing a warm smile that made people feel at ease.

But after everything he had been through, that gentle man was long gone.

"Mr. Nagato, Miss Konan," Minato greeted them, his gaze lingering a moment longer on Nagato.

Instinctively, both Konan and Nagato turned their eyes toward Yahiko, who sat in the main seat.

Yahiko said, "We are all Jiraiya-sensei's students, coming from the same teacher. There's no need to be so formal."

After speaking, he turned to Nagato and Konan and explained, "Minato is here to work with us in rescuing Jiraiya-sensei."

Nagato and Konan gradually recovered from their initial shock.

Following Yahiko's gesture, they took seats on the other side of the room.

Without hesitation, Yahiko got straight to the point, "We don't have much time left—only five days. Minato, do you have a plan?"

Minato pondered for a moment before saying, "You're all aware of the Tower of Solarity in Konoha, right?"

Yahiko nodded.

It was a towering watchtower that emitted a constant purple glow, illuminating all of Konoha day and night.

He had once asked Konoha's ninja about the tower's purpose, and the response he received was that it was meant for nighttime security.

Additionally, during the third stage of the Chunin Exams, the tower enabled examinees to soar into the air and land directly in the arena.

Though he didn't fully understand the true power of the Tower of Solarity, Yahiko had always felt it was far from ordinary.

Minato continued, "That tower possesses an extremely terrifying power. Under its illumination, no enemy of Konoha can hide or escape. If someone is struck by its light, they will immediately lose all mobility, unable to even use their chakra."

Upon hearing this, all three of them displayed astonished expressions.

Minato went on, "Back when Jiraiya-sensei rescued me from prison, he managed to temporarily disable the tower's function for a short period. That's how he succeeded."

Nagato asked, "Then how can we stop it?"

Minato replied, "The most effective way is to shut it down from the inside. Attacking it from the outside… I'm not sure if that would work."

The Tower of Solarity…

Yahiko and the others fell into deep thought.

Konoha was far more dangerous than they had imagined.

Previously, Yahiko had worried about how difficult the Seven Crown Guards would be to deal with.

But now, it seemed they might not even need to make a move—if Minato hadn't come to warn them, recklessly acting on their own would have been no different from walking to their deaths.

Why did a single tower possess such an eerie power?

What was its principle?

Konan couldn't help but ask, "So if we don't find a way to disable the tower, there's no chance of rescuing Jiraiya-sensei?"

Minato glanced at the three of them and nodded. "That's right."

Among Jiraiya's students, Nagato was likely the strongest, but Minato didn't know exactly how powerful he was.

Once the Tower of Solarity is disabled, I can immediately take Jiraiya-sensei and escape."

Both sides had their respective tasks to carry out.

Whether it was drawing attention from the outside or shutting down the Tower of Solarity, each mission carried immense risks.

Minato added, "During this time, if possible, you should go to Konoha again and gather as much intel on the Tower of Solarity as you can."

"Alright." Yahiko nodded.

"On that day, you'll be in the most danger. Is there anything we can do to help you?"

Minato shook his head. "No need."

Yahiko couldn't help but ask, "You might have to face the Seven Crown Guards alone. Can you handle it?"

At that, Minato simply chuckled. "I never said I'd be alone."

This time, he had prepared a grand gift for Konoha—one that he intended for Hyuga Makoto to fully experience.

In a laboratory filled with modern technological aesthetics, Makoto stood before rows of neatly arranged small glass vials.

Each vial contained a pair of luminous white eyes.

"The number of cloned Byakugan has now reached the amount you requested, Lord Hokage."

"Good."

Back then, in order to create the Tenseigan weapon, Makoto had nearly exhausted all of the Byakugan reserves within the Hyuga clan.

Later, he had also discovered some preserved Byakugan on the Moon.

However, since their clan had never anticipated their own extinction, the storage method had not been suitable for long-term preservation.

By the time Makoto found them, they had all deteriorated beyond use.

Cloning technology had resolved many of these issues for him.

Now, he could proceed with the fusion of a second Tenseigan weapon and the construction of a second Tower of Solarity.

However, there was no urgency to do so at the moment.

Instead, Makoto simply instructed Kabuto to store these eyes properly and to continue the mass production of cloned Byakugan— the more, the better, with no upper limit.

Makoto then shifted his focus to another matter. "How much longer until the flesh armor meets the required standards?"

Kabuto replied, "The entire department is almost fully dedicated to the development of the flesh armor, working around the clock. At the fastest pace, it will take at least another six months."

Konoha's Newly Built Tailed Beast Energy Station

Aside from solving the village's electricity supply problem, the newly constructed Tailed Beast Energy Station also provided tremendous support to two research institutes, allowing more equipment to operate simultaneously.

This significantly boosted productivity.

Even so, Makoto still felt that using the energy station merely for powering the village was somewhat wasteful.

After all, how much electricity could Konoha's appliances possibly consume, even if they ran nonstop throughout the night?

"Six months..." Makoto muttered to himself.

The flesh armor would take six months, but engraving the internal techniques would likely take even longer.

Combined with various adjustments and experimental phases, the entire process would take well over a year.

"It's already fast… It's already very fast," he murmured in admiration.

Creating such a massive construct in under two years—back in his original world, even manufacturing a car could take longer than that.

After leaving the research institute, Makoto received another report from his subordinates—Nagato and Konan from Amegakure had arrived.

Why were these two here? Were they coming to plead for Jiraiya?

Yahiko had only recently returned to his village, so Amegakure should have been lying low for the time being.

Their stated purpose for the visit was merely routine official business.

Given the close ties between Konoha and Amegakure, it wasn't unusual for their ninja to travel between the villages for work.

After a brief moment of contemplation, Makoto instructed, "Arrange for someone to receive them. Keep an eye on their movements and report to me immediately if anything unusual happens."
