Chapter 154: Chapter 154
Although she still didn't quite understand, Tsunade sighed in resignation, a hint of envy flashing in her golden eyes.
"You've gotten stronger again, haven't you, brat?"
It was just unfair. For her, improving her strength required years, even decades, of grinding effort and accumulation.
And Uchiha Shin?
That bastard either spent his time chasing women or getting caught up in the most ridiculous experiments. Yet somehow, his power kept growing at an absurd rate!
Tsunade's irritation soon gave way to curiosity. A thought popped into her head, and her lips curled into a mischievous smirk.
"If you… you know, reproduce, is there a chance your offspring might awaken the Rinnegan?"
Uchiha Shin raised an eyebrow, wary of the look in her eyes. "Maybe… Why do you ask?"
He suddenly felt a shift in the atmosphere. Why was Tsunade looking at him like that?
Usually, he was the impatient one, but today, she was the one acting eager.
"Not for any weird reason." Tsunade's voice carried an innocent lilt that didn't match the gleam in her gaze. "I just want to see if your… 'magic replenishment' can boost purity."
In her eyes, Uchiha Shin was nothing short of a walking natural energy generator, a self-replenishing Sage chakra battery.
Last time, she had managed to unlock Sage Mode thanks to him. Then she had miraculously developed a Wood Release affinity.
So, logically, pushing this experiment further should bring even greater rewards, right?
———
Some time later…
Uchiha Shin stepped out of the office, adjusting his collar with a self-satisfied smirk.
Tsunade talked a big game, but in the end, she was still just as human as the rest. Even with her monstrous strength, she had limits.
He had noticed something else too.
During that… 'experiment,' he felt a distinct change in the Sage Seal.
"It's evolved." His expression turned serious. "Now, it's more than just a mark—it's a resurrection link."
If Tsunade or any of the others carrying his Sage Seal were to die, their essence could return to him. Then, using their souls, he could reconstruct their bodies, bringing them back to life.
Conversely, if he died, he could be reborn through one of them.
It was a game-changing discovery… but he wasn't about to test it anytime soon. Killing Tsunade to confirm a theory? Yeah, no thanks. Suicide? Also a bad idea.
He pushed those thoughts aside as he continued walking.
His gaze stretched outwards, his Sharingan honing in on a distant figure. Yahiko—one of the survivors from Konoha's latest purge—was fleeing.
"Should I capture him?" Shin murmured to himself before scoffing. "Nah. He's a nobody."
There were more important matters to handle.
His plans in the Land of Water still needed execution, but there was no rush.
More importantly, he had… obligations.
Karura had only just been brought to Konoha, and she needed attention.
Then there was the Senju brat at the Ninja Academy's Girls' Division.
Senju Meibuki was a mouthy little thing—arrogant, bratty—but her body was honest. She was prime material for… 'education.'
Shin grinned. It was always fun breaking in strong-willed women, molding them into something softer, more obedient.
Then there was Hinazuki from the Hyuga clan. Shy, skittish, utterly hopeless when it came to physical intimacy.
She needed constant 'reconditioning' if she was ever going to withstand an 'applause session' without fainting.
His schedule was packed. And that wasn't even considering his side projects—like developing new forbidden jutsus.
For now, though, he had to make sure Tsunade was satisfied.
After all, he had other women waiting on him. Mikoto, Kanako, Kushina, Konan, Sasha…
With the exception of Konan and Sasha, all the others were prepared to get pregnant.
It would be irresponsible of him not to put in the effort.
———
Back at the Imperial District, where he had established his main residence, Shin headed straight for Karura's quarters.
She had been housed close to Mikoto and the others, just a few steps away from his own chambers.
As he approached, he heard voices.
Inside, Karura sat across from Konan, the two of them chatting as if they were old friends.
"Sister Karura, look! This is the paper flower I made," Konan beamed, holding up a delicately folded origami flower.
Karura, always poised and graceful, smiled warmly. "It's beautiful, Konan. Could you teach me?"
Konan's eyes lit up. "Of course!"
Shin leaned against the doorway, watching them with amusement. It was a rare sight—two women from entirely different backgrounds bonding over something so simple.
"You two seem to be getting along well."
Hearing his voice, Konan immediately perked up. She rushed toward him, practically throwing herself into his arms.
"Brother Shin, you're back!"
He chuckled, ruffling her hair. "Yeah, I had some things to take care of. But I'll be staying in Konoha for the next few days."
Konan purred contentedly, pressing herself against him.
Meanwhile, Karura remained seated, watching them with a mixture of curiosity and something else—something softer.
"Welcome back, Lord Shin," she greeted, her voice smooth and polite.
Even in a simple sitting position, Karura radiated elegance. Her porcelain skin, the gentle rise and fall of her chest, the way her hands rested neatly in her lap…
She was dignified, yet undeniably alluring.
Shin's smirk widened as he stepped forward, leaving Konan behind to sit beside Karura.
"You've settled in well, I hope?" he asked, reaching for her hand.
She flinched slightly at his touch, her cheeks flushing a delicate pink.
"I… I like it here," she admitted, voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you for bringing me to Konoha."
Her sincerity was unmistakable.
Back in the Sand Village, she had been shackled—both metaphorically and literally. But here, in Konoha, she had found freedom.
Compared to the rigid, isolated life she once knew, this was paradise.
"Then I'll take you out for a walk next time," Shin promised.
"Me too! Me too!"
Konan butted in, her large, watery eyes practically begging for attention.
Karura giggled, her gentle fingers brushing through Konan's hair.
"She should come with us."
Konan cheered, bouncing on the spot. "Yes! Victory!"
Shin sighed in mock exasperation. "You're getting spoiled, Konan."
Not that he minded. If anything, it was endearing how attached she was.
Still, he had other matters to attend to.
Though his intentions in coming here had included some teasing, his primary goal was more serious.
Karura was still a Jinchūriki. And if he had his way, that was going to change.
