Naruto: Awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Unify the Ninja World

Chapter 152: Chapter 152

Uchiha Madara's cold gaze bore into the man standing before him. "You're quite perceptive, Uchiha Shin. You even know of my existence."

His voice was calm, unwavering, carrying the weight of his legend. "I assume you've deciphered the inscriptions on the Uchiha clan's stone tablet. But despite that knowledge, you chose the path of a tyrant—a path distinct from mine."

Madara's Susanoo materialized in full form, towering over the battlefield. The spectral warrior reached behind its back and drew twin colossal blades, their edges gleaming with ethereal blue light.

"Everything ends here." Madara's Sharingan burned with determination. "You, a mere kid, will surrender your Rinnegan to me."

Across from him, Uchiha Shin stood his ground, his own Susanoo—a golden titan, armored in flames of Amaterasu—gripping its singular greatsword, obsidian black and wreathed in unquenchable fire. There was no fear in his gaze, only exhilaration.

Without hesitation, the two warriors lunged at each other.

A deafening clash erupted as the blades met in a cataclysmic explosion of force.

BOOM!

A shockwave rippled outward, toppling mountains like sandcastles in a storm. The very terrain twisted beneath their feet, reshaped by their battle.

Madara's dual swords crashed down with overwhelming force, but Shin countered, swinging his burning greatsword in a horizontal arc.

BANG!

The impact sent fissures through the land, and the sky seemed to tremble from their combined might. The force of the clash split the earth, carving deep ravines across the battlefield.

Madara's eyes narrowed as he watched his blue Susanoo's weapons shatter upon impact, the fragments raining down like meteors into the dense forest below. For the first time in years, something akin to intrigue flickered in his gaze.

Shin, standing above him atop his golden Susanoo, let out a booming laugh. "This is no longer your era, relic. Accept your fate and fall!"

Madara said nothing. Instead, he raised his right hand as Shin brought his burning sword down upon him.

"Sealing Technique: Absorption Seal."

At that moment, the monstrous black flames of Amaterasu were sucked into Madara's palm, vanishing into nothingness.

Shin's smirk faded slightly. "Hmph. Even without the Rinnegan, you're still a stubborn bastard."

Madara remained expressionless. Though deprived of the full power of his Rinnegan, his combat prowess was beyond question. His mastery of chakra control, battle instincts, and overwhelming will made him a force even the gods would fear.

Shin, however, was no ordinary opponent.

"If you refuse to die with dignity, then I will utterly annihilate your pride."

He took a deep breath, closing his eyes. A moment later, they snapped open, now resembling golden dragon-like orbs, pupils slit like a predator's. His aura surged, shaking the heavens themselves.

"Sage Mode… ON!"

The golden energy surrounding him intensified. His chakra, now infused with the power of nature, became almost limitless. A majestic cloak, laced with intricate markings, formed around him.

Madara's eyes sharpened. The battlefield trembled under the sheer pressure of Shin's presence.

Then, with a single hand sign, the world erupted.

"Wood Style: True Thousand Hands!"

The land itself split open, a monstrous wooden structure erupting from the depths of the earth. A colossal Buddha statue, larger than even the one once summoned by Hashirama Senju, tore through the dust and debris, casting a shadow that consumed the horizon.

Madara tilted his head back, his Sharingan widening ever so slightly. It wasn't often he felt... small.

The towering entity stood at a staggering two thousand meters, dwarfing both combatants' Susanoo. A monstrous construct of divine wrath, its thousand arms radiated an overwhelming presence, each hand ready to strike like the hammer of judgment itself.

Atop its crown, Shin's golden Susanoo stood, exuding a godly radiance.

The battlefield was bathed in golden light, the sun itself eclipsed by the sheer scale of Shin's jutsu.

For miles in every direction, shinobi and civilians alike stopped what they were doing, turning to the horizon in awe and terror. Even in the distant Hidden Villages, tremors of this battle were felt.

Madara, however, did not flinch.

Shin clasped his hands together.

"Thousands of Hands: Rasengan Barrage!"

The Thousand-Armed Buddha moved.

The colossal deity gathered pure chakra, shaping Rasengan after Rasengan in its countless palms. The central pair of hands cradled a Rasengan so massive it dwarfed Madara's full-body Susanoo itself.

Then, without warning—

It struck.

The very heavens seemed to tear apart as the gigantic Rasengan descended, accompanied by thousands of smaller Rasengan crashing down like divine meteors.

Madara remained composed, but for the first time in centuries, he felt something unsettlingly close to hesitation.

Because this was… unfair.

"…?"

A literal question mark hovered in Madara's mind as he gazed upon the apocalyptic barrage. His complete Susanoo, which once towered over all, now seemed pathetically small compared to the behemoth before him.

It was like watching a child's toy being crushed under a falling temple.

BOOOOM!

A golden explosion engulfed the land. The sky lit up as if a second sun had been born. The impact sent a chakra shockwave so vast that it was felt across multiple countries.

Entire landscapes were reshaped. Mountains collapsed. Oceans roared. Villages trembled.

When the blinding light finally faded, an enormous crater—50 kilometers wide, its outer rim stretching well beyond 120 kilometers—scarred the continent. The devastation was unfathomable.

Realizing the sheer magnitude of what he had unleashed, Shin furrowed his brow. "Tch. I might've gone a little overboard."

With a single hand sign, he activated a containment technique.

"Thousands of Hands: Universal Reclamation!"

The thousand arms of the Buddha statue extended into the ruins, absorbing the residual energy, stabilizing the broken earth, preventing further continental damage.

As Shin focused on fixing the catastrophe, a familiar voice broke the silence.

"…Hmph. Izanagi, huh?" Shin muttered, glancing to his side.

Standing there, missing an eye, was none other than Madara Uchiha.

Madara stared at Shin, then at the towering Thousand-Hand Buddha that still loomed behind him, its golden radiance unyielding.

An eerie silence passed between them.

Madara exhaled slowly. "Tch…"

For the first time in history, Uchiha Madara genuinely wondered if this fight was worth it.

Shin, still brimming with untouched chakra, looked at him with a smirk.

"So? What's next, old man?"
