Naruto: A True Monster

"Water style huh? No worries" said Gamabunta as he took one long puff of smoke from his pipe, released it before jumping right at Yuu.

'Water style: Water Bombs'

Gamabunta opened his mouth, firing seven large water balls the size of very small meteorites bombarding Yuu with them.

Yuu, noticing the water bombs, quickly dodged them, his shadow clones doing the same.

'I can't give Jiraiya enough time to enter sage mode'

Yuu dispelled his current shadow clones before once more creating five which he left to deal with Gamabunta. He on the other hand under the guise of the generated dust cloud dust used the hidden mole technique to sink into the ground, departing right towards Jiraiya.

While travelling at fast speeds underground, he soon reached a few meters from Jiraiya's location. Wasting no time, Yuu created four shadow with large quantities of chakra who immediately casted the Enhanced water blades technique.

The water blades shot towards Jiraiya above ground, the water blades forming a net of deadly power capable of shredding even the toughest metals.

Jiraiya, sensing the water blades, slammed his foot on the air summoning a large gate with a devil face on its front beneath his feet.

'Summoning technique: Rashimon gate'

The water blades collided with the gate however surprisingly while the blades filled the gate with numerous cracks to the extent of nearly shattering, it still managed to completely protect Jiraiya giving him enough time to complete his transformation.

Jiraiya's face became more froglike, developing warts. His eyes also acquired the horizontal rectangular pupils of a frog while his feet and hands widened and developed webbed appendages much like a frog's.

'Sage mode' thought Yuu as he emerged from the ground, his eyes coming into contact with Jiraiya's who had the two small frog sages standing on his shoulder.

Jiraiya, Fukasaku and Shima all took a deep breath, their cheeks puffing.

'Sage art: Oil stream'

'Sage art: Wind stream'

'Sage art: Fire stream'

Three huge rivers of oil, wind and fire were launched at Yuu by the three respectively. The three while powerful on their own combined created a large and powerful stream of fire full of not only chakra but destructive nature energy as well bounding towards Yuu.

Yuu responded as well.

'Water style: Colliding wave.'

He breathed out a large amount of chakra which transformed into a large water wave that collided with the fire tsunami. Their collision was powerful destroying the earth around it and creating powerful tremors. Soon the two jutsus died down, a large steam of high temperatures left behind which Yuu capitalized on.

'Wind style: Great Breakthrough'

A large torrent of wind erupted from his mouth pushing the high temperature steam towards Jiraiya, enveloping his location.

'Did I get him?' thought Yuu before quickly performing a back flip dodging a thin pressurized stream of water which Yuu had no doubt was sharp enough to slice through rocks and metal. While upside down, he saw Jiraiya emerge beneath him, his fist aimed at his head. Yuu blocked the attack by crossing his arms beneath him. The attack caused his arms to tremble from the force while also launching him further into the air. While flipping through the air, Yuu focused on his arms which, while okay, were throbbing in tremendous pain and showing signs of a bruise, shocking him.

'He managed to hurt me despite me possessing a high-level Kage physique rivalling Tsunade's and the Raikage's. As expected of sage mode.'

While in mid-air, Yuu quickly cast another jutsu.

'Fire style: Consuming fire'

A large stream of fire erupted towards Jiraiya.

'Earth style: Mud dome'

The ground around Jiraiya changed into mud which rose forming a large mud dome blocking the fire attack.

"Jiraiya, you can't keep fighting this guy with large scale ninjutsu, you'll be exhausted way before him." Advised Fukasaku.

"Yeah, let's finish this quickly. I have to start preparing lunch," said Shima.

Jiraiya nodded in agreement. The two toads began to croak loudly, their voices distorting the surrounding both within and outside the mud wall. Yuu, standing outside, heard the loud frog croaks coming within the mud dome and immediately placed his hands on the ground.

'Earth style: Surging spikes.'

The dome collapsed as numerous spikes pierced through it. While Jiraiya managed to emerge safe in the air, it wasn't without cost as one of the spikes had managed to pierce his right arm, leaving a large hole.

'I didn't expect him to be able to use Earth release as well. Well, it doesn't matter as the two geezers should be done by now'

As Jiraiya expected, his enemy who had been charging came to a stop a few meters away.

Meanwhile Yuu who had been charging towards Jiraiya suddenly froze, his surroundings having changed from the usual to a weird cave lined with what looked like the skin of intestines. He was encased in a water sphere while around him stood four frog statues each fully armoured and holding out a palm towards him most likely maintaining the water barrier around him.

Yuu tried to damage the water barrier to no avail.

"Don't bother trying. This genjutsu is no something that can be broken so easily." Said Jiraiya as he appeared before him.

"So it is a genjutsu." Said Yuu as he studied his surroundings in curiosity.

"Yes. The most powerful genjutsu of the two sages of Mount Myoboku, 'Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant'. A genjutsu that while trapping you also allowing me to at the same time talk to you while maintaining control and awareness of my physical body. I have yet to see anyone break out of it aside from the old man and even he had trouble doing so in our spar."

"I see. So what do you want?"

Jiraiya smiled "I simply wanted to know who you are and why you attacked old man Hiruzen."

Yuu looked at Jiraiya with cold eyes "Who I am is none of your concern and the reason I attacked the third Hokage was because he attacked me first."

"And why did he attack you?"

"I had killed one of Konoha's fuinjutsu grandmasters who he had been trying to save."

"I see" said Jiraiya with a serious look "I doubt I will be able to get anything more out of you so goodbye mysterious shinobi with large amounts of chakra"

Jiraiya, in the real world, was right in front of Yuu, his kunai raised ready to pierce his heart.

"Yes goodbye"
