Myth Beyond Heaven

Chapter 2679: True Haven

After leaving the Ice Phoenix Kingdom, Yun Lintian headed to the Golden Qilin Kingdom and the Eternal Night Kingdom. Both Qi Zongwen and Ye Yingxi had already gathered their people and were waiting for him.

Yun Lintian quickly left the Gate of Beyond Heaven behind and headed to the Endless Snow Kingdom. As he had promised Xue Muyao, he would certainly take all her people away.

To avoid problems, Yun Lintian went back to the Ancient Battlefield to fetch Xue Muyao and let her inform her people.

"Thank you," Xue Muyao said with gratitude. She hadn't expected Yun Lintian to honor his promise.

"It's what I should do," Yun Lintian said calmly as he watched the people walking into the gate.

"I hope you can inform me when you fight the Lord of Chaos later," Xue Muyao said gently. "Although my strength cannot help you much, I can definitely handle a top-rank Chaos Knight."

"I will," Yun Lintian nodded slightly.

After taking everyone away, Yun Lintian made sure he had removed all the gates and returned to Nine Firmament City.

The citizens of the four kingdoms, having safely traversed the Gate of Beyond Heaven, found themselves in a world vastly different from their own.

The Nine Firmament City, a sprawling metropolis of towering structures and bustling streets, stretched out before them, a testament to the ingenuity and power of the Primal Chaos's inhabitants.

The air was clean and crisp, devoid of the chaotic energy that permeated the Realm of Chaos. The spiritual energy, though thinner than what they were accustomed to, was pure and invigorating, free from the taint of the Primordial Decay.

For the cultivators among them, this was a welcome change. They could cultivate without fear of the decay eroding their foundations, their progress unimpeded by the constant struggle against the encroaching corruption.

But it was the mortals who truly rejoiced. In the Realm of Chaos, their lives were harsh and unforgiving. They were constantly at the mercy of the elements, their survival dependent on the whims of fate.

Those without the talent for cultivation were doomed to a short and brutal existence, their bodies ravaged by the Primordial Decay, their spirits crushed by the weight of their circumstances.

Here, in the Nine Firmament City, they found a haven, a sanctuary where they could live in peace and security. The city offered them shelter, food, and the opportunity to build a new life, free from the constant threat of death and despair.

Tears streamed down the faces of many mortals as they took in their surroundings, their hearts filled with a mixture of disbelief and gratitude. They had been given a second chance at life, a chance to live in a world where they were not condemned from birth, where their existence was not a constant struggle for survival.

"This... this is a miracle," an elderly woman sobbed, her frail hands clasped together in prayer. "Thank you, heavens. Thank you for this blessing."

A young mother, clutching her child close to her chest, gazed at the bustling city with wide eyes. "Look, my child," she whispered, her voice filled with hope. "This is our new home. A place where you can grow strong and healthy, where you can live a long and happy life."

The cultivators, though less overwhelmed by the change in environment, were also grateful for the sanctuary that the Nine Firmament City offered. They could focus on their cultivation without the constant threat of the Primordial Decay, their progress accelerated by the pure and abundant spiritual energy.

"This is truly a blessed land," a young cultivator remarked, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "I can already feel my cultivation improving."

An elder cultivator nodded in agreement. "Indeed. This is a place where we can reach our full potential, where we can transcend our limitations and achieve greatness."

The citizens of the four kingdoms, cultivators and mortals alike, explored the Nine Firmament City with wonder and curiosity. They marveled at the towering structures, the bustling markets, and the diverse population that called this city home.

They were welcomed with open arms by the city's inhabitants, who offered them food, shelter, and guidance in navigating their new surroundings.

The people of the Primal Chaos, having heard of the plight of the Realm of Chaos, were eager to extend a helping hand, to share their resources and their knowledge with those in need.

At this moment, the once not-so-crowded city was bustling with people from the four kingdoms. Every inch of the street was occupied, to the point that people could not move forward.

Fortunately, Nine Firmament City was extremely large, and Yun Ruanyu had constantly expanded it over the years as she foresaw the situation where people from the Primal Chaos would pour in. It was more than enough to accommodate everyone from the four kingdoms.

"We have been chasing the Haven for as long as I can remember. Now, we actually have a better place here," Ye Yingxi said with emotion.

Lan Bingxue, Qi Zongwen, and Xue Muyao felt the same way. Over the years, they had tried their best to send their disciples to the Haven to obtain qualifications and resources to help their respective kingdoms. Now, they had actually discovered that the true haven could be reached this way.

"Have you realized that we can actually leave our kingdoms?" Lan Bingxue suddenly spoke up.

Qi Zongwen and Ye Yingxi were stunned for a moment and immediately realized it was indeed the case.

Normally, the regents couldn't leave their kingdoms because they were bound by a restriction. How could they do it now?

On the side, Xue Muyao spoke up. "The restriction originated from the Lord of Chaos, but it was already broken unknowingly. The Lord of Chaos couldn't control it for some reason. I believe it has something to do with Yun Lintian."

Lan Bingxue, Qi Zongwen, and Ye Yingxi looked at each other in surprise.

"How did you know?" Ye Yingxi asked.

"I originally surrendered to the Lord of Chaos," Xue Muyao said gently. Her words immediately stunned the other three.

"You…" Ye Yingxi looked at Xue Muyao with a frown.

"I was forced to. They threatened me with my people," Xue Muyao said gently. "However, Yun Lintian changed everything. I am free now."

Lan Bingxue took a deep look at Xue Muyao and said, "I hope that's true."

Xue Muyao smiled faintly. "It's normal to suspect me. I would be the same… Let time prove it."
