Chapter 120: Chapter 120
If Eren were to face Iron Monger now, a simple angel summoning would utterly crush the foe.
No matter how strong Iron Monger was, it would stand no chance against an angel.
Compared to the Perfect Human Skin Mask, the Angelic Staff had far fewer drawbacks.
The "anger tendency" could be easily managed with the given solution, leaving only one concern:
"The angel's influence is ever-present. Beware, for it may slowly lead you to become a devout follower."
The Angel's Influence?
Eren couldn't help but laugh. Even in death, this angel was still devoted to converting followers for God.
That said, faith in God was prevalent in this world.
If Eren could somehow replace God, much like Lilith usurped the faith of the Earth Church in the Mystery World, and claim these believers for himself...
He could even ascend to godhood without worrying about the scarcity of anchors for his divinity!
Of course, this was merely wishful thinking.
The God of this world wasn't dead, and stealing His faith wouldn't be easy.
Eren shook off the wandering thoughts, knowing that the angel's influence wasn't as simple as it seemed.
Still, given the staff's immense power, the risk seemed manageable.
After opening all the orbs and gathering a heap of items, Eren felt a wave of satisfaction wash over him.
"Phew! Looks like all my effort yesterday was worth it."
Except for the Princess Dress, Witch Potion, and Perfect Human Skin Mask, Eren brought the rest of the items into the real world.
He summoned the Oddball to move the large vault in the basement and the small safe from his bedroom to his side.
Item Storage:
Into the small safe went:
The silver-white diamond necklace
The high-quality sapphire
The skull-marked poison
Into the large vault went:
Cursed Scarecrow
Sunfire Talisman
Previous items like the Tracking Crane Origami, Universal Antidote, Strong Healing Potion, and Enhancement Stone
The T9 Explosives (powerful enough to destroy a building)
The T9 Explosives were categorized alongside the supernatural items due to their sheer destructive power.
Weapons and Tools:
The generator, sniper rifle, gargoyle statues, three handguns, and six grenades were handed over to Oddball.
Eren instructed it to assimilate these items into the house itself, enhancing its offensive capabilities beyond just swallowing intruders.
Miscellaneous Items:
The tea set was displayed on the table.
The sunglasses and Disguise Diary were tossed aside for now.
In the study, Eren placed the Feather Quill atop his unfinished schoolwork.
As a student at Midtown High, which prided itself on producing future elites, the academic workload was intense.
The quill allowed him to offload that burden while still learning effectively, as it wrote based on his own knowledge. By reviewing the finished assignments, he could pinpoint gaps in his understanding.
"Whoever invented this quill was a genius!"
After setting the quill to work, Eren pocketed the Crystal Eye and slipped the Magician's Ring onto his thumb.
The ring resized to fit perfectly, and a cool sensation surged up his hand, sending a refreshing stream of energy to his brain.
Along with a heightened sense of mental clarity, a wealth of information flooded his mind—the heritage of a magician.
The ring even provided subtle physical enhancements, improving Eren's dexterity, memory, flexibility, and balance.
"Not bad at all," he mused, nodding in satisfaction.
Eren's thoughts were interrupted by the sight of Oddball drooling over the Spatial Stone on the table.
The creature's yearning gaze was almost pitiful, reminiscent of a dog eyeing a bone it couldn't reach.
Curious, Eren picked up the Spatial Stone.
"You want this?"
Oddball nodded vigorously, its large head bobbing up and down. It hadn't shown such enthusiasm, not even for the Undying Flesh.
Eren chuckled and tossed the stone toward its gaping maw.
"Alright, it's yours."
Since Eren had no immediate use for the stone, giving it to Oddball seemed like a reasonable choice. Clearly, the stone held significant value for the creature.
Oddball eagerly snapped up the stone, swallowing it whole. Its delighted expression made Eren wonder what kind of transformation it would undergo.
Feeling a bit peckish himself, Eren grabbed a pair of chopsticks and opened the Delicious Bento, savoring the meal inside.
The Fate Balance's evaluation was spot-on—the bento tasted incredible. Its only flaw was the portion size, which left him wanting more.
After finishing his meal, Eren turned his attention to the towering Angelic Staff, which stood as tall as he was.
"Now... how do I seal something this big into my body?" (TL: I have an idea... but you will need tons of lube...)
