Chapter 52: Indescribable Things
Feng Fan strolled leisurely along the cobblestone streets of Cloudveil, whistling a cheerful tune.
'Happiness comes from the little things in life. Robbing my enemies clean is definitely one of those,' he thought with a smirk.
Before long, he reached the inn, but just as he was about to step inside, he spotted Elder Peng standing near the entrance, his face etched with impatience.
Behind the elder, Xue Qiang and Huang Xue stood quietly, their gazes fixed on Feng Fan with a mix of curiosity and intrigue.
"Little rascal, where have you been?" Elder Peng asked, his tone carrying a hint of suspicion.
Feng Fan put on an apologetic expression. "Sorry, Elder Peng. I was catching up with some friends. Is the pocket dimension opening soon?"
"Oh? Were these friends of yours, by any chance, the ones who helped invade the Huang and Wen family manors?" Elder Peng's eyes narrowed slightly.
Feng Fan feigned shock, his eyebrows shooting up in mock surprise. "What? The Huang and Wen family manors were invaded? This thief must be caught at all costs!"
Elder Peng gave him a knowing look, his lips curling into a wry smile. "Yeah… Quite a coincidence that the methods used in the heist involved arrays strikingly similar to the ones you demonstrated to me recently, wouldn't you say?"
Feng Fan nodded enthusiastically, keeping his expression as earnest as possible. "Absolutely, Elder Peng! I, Feng Fan, am a man of honor. I would never do anything to tarnish the White Crow Sect's reputation."
Elder Peng snorted softly but chose not to press the matter further.
'This kid is as shameless as he is bold. With his pitiful cultivation level, he dared to infiltrate their manors and still managed to escape unscathed… Not bad!'
"Let's move. The pocket dimension is opening soon, and the other participants should be arriving shortly," Elder Peng said, his tone signaling the end of the conversation.
Instead of summoning the bluebird, he channeled his spiritual qi, enveloping everyone in a protective aura. With a slight wave of his hand, Elder Peng levitated the group, carrying them effortlessly toward their destination.
Feng Fan felt the qi wrap around him. He didn't resist and, within minutes, they had left Cloudveil City behind, arriving at a spacious clearing filled with over three hundred people.
Feng Fan scanned the crowd. Most groups consisted of an elder, whose cultivation Feng Fan couldn't tell, and one or two participants, all in the Qi Gathering realm.

However, his gaze soon landed on a notably larger group. Members of this group wore white robes adorned with a blue dragon emblem.
"Blue Dragon Sect," Feng Fan muttered under his breath.
Accompanying this group were two Qi Gathering realm cultivators standing beside an elder, their robes bearing the emblem of a blue wyvern rather than a blue dragon.
Feng Fan's smirk widened when he recognized them. Wen Xue and Huang Chao.
Wen Xue's expression was cold and distant, but Huang Chao's discomfort was obvious. His movements were stiff, and he occasionally winced, his face betraying his physical pain.
Feng Fan couldn't help but grin. His gaze lingered on Huang Chao for a moment, savoring the satisfaction of his handiwork from the previous night.
'Perfectly executed,' he thought to himself.
The elder from the Blue Dragon Sect noticed the White Crow Sect's arrival and subtly signaled the Blue Wyvern Elder with a glance.
Picking up on the cue, the Blue Wyvern Elder strode toward Elder Peng, with Wen Xue and Huang Chao trailing close behind.
"Well, well, if it isn't Elder Peng," He said mockingly, a smirk tugging at his lips. "I knew your sect was in decline, but bringing such weaklings? A 3rd-stage and two 5th-stage Qi Gathering cultivators? Truly pitiful."
Elder Peng's expression darkened with anger. "Tan Lei, what does the business of my White Crow Sect have to do with you?"
Tan Lei let out a wry laugh. "I'm merely concerned for your sect's well-being. With such fragile strength, it'd be a shame if they didn't make it back alive, especially with the young generation competition on the horizon. Wouldn't want to lose what little hope your sect has left."
Before Elder Peng could respond, Feng Fan chimed in, his voice laced with mockery.
"What's this? The master didn't have the guts to show up, so he sent his dog to do the barking?"
Feng Fan's gaze wasn't even on Tan Lei. Instead, he stared intently at the Blue Dragon Sect's group, his expression fearless.
The surrounding crowd began to murmur with interest, their curiosity piqued by the escalating tension. Many seemed entertained, eager to see how the drama would unfold.
"Y-You bastard! Who are you calling a dog?" Tan Lei shouted, his face red with anger.
Feng Fan turned to him, feigning a look of surprise. "Oh? Did you say something? Sorry, I don't understand dog language. Could you speak in human, please?"
The insult sent a wave of laughter through the crowd, but Tan Lei's fury only deepened.
As a powerful elder, being ridiculed by a mere Qi Gathering cultivator was unbearable. If not for the rules and witnesses, he might have killed Feng Fan on the spot.
Grinding his teeth, Tan Lei forced a smirk. "Hah, just a weakling at the 3rd stage. Let's see how long you last in the pocket dimension. I doubt you'll make it out alive."
Feng Fan responded with a hearty laugh. "Oh? And who's going to kill me? That disciple behind you?"
He pointed at Huang Chao, who was standing awkwardly.
"This guy can't even stand straight. Look at him, his butt seems to be hurting. Who knows what kind of indescribable things he got up to last night?"
The crowd erupted into snickers and whispers, while Huang Chao's face turned as red as a ripe tomato. His fists clenched, and his entire body trembled with humiliation and rage.
Sensing the situation turning unfavorable, the Blue Dragon Sect's elder stepped forward with a composed expression.
"Oh? Since you seem so confident in your abilities, how about we make a little wager?" he said, his tone calm but provocative.
