Chapter 3: Sushi is Delicious!
I go over to Yuki's side.
"Why don't you go talk to them? You can chat, I'm going to enjoy the view for a while."
"Yeah? Marc, let me know when you're done. Let's go to Asakusa next."
With that, she went over to the girls.
The view here is different from the one from the castle tower. From here, all I can see are buildings, though there is greenery in places.
It was strange to see trees visible in a city, perhaps it's a park or not.
Oh, this is quite an impressive place. I remember Yuki mentioning Asakusa earlier, so I took out my phone and searched for it.
Wow, it looks like an exciting place. I love Japan.
The girls, satisfied with their visit, came over to me.
"How's it going? Did you enjoy it?"
"Yes, I think so. I was just now searching for the Asakusa that Yuki mentioned."
The three girls chuckled.
"Doctor, you lead us to some surprisingly simple places."
"No way! It's so Japanese! let's go then!"
With that, I followed Yuki as she started to walk away,
We arrived at Asakusa. We went to a place called Sensoji Temple. Isn't it so beautifully preserved? I've been to many temples, so I'd really like to see the more modern places.
Well, to them, I'm just a foreigner here. And the average foreigner would be pleased. I think I'll stick with these girls for a while.
After going around all the recommended spots, Yuki says,
"Marc! Do you like sushi?"
"Let's go to Tsukiji."
The latter three are also thrilled.
"Sushi! That sounds great! Of course, it's on the Doctor, right?"
The girls make a lot of noise, excited.
"Sorry to interrupt the excitement, but could it be my treat this time? I don't want you ladies to pay for me," I tell them.
Yuki chimes in.
"I don't mind, but these kids eat a lot despite their appearance."
"That's great! I like seeing girls who eat a lot."
The girls are delighted to hear that.
"Then let us spoil you too!"

We picked up a cab and got in. I got in the passenger seat. The driver said he could speak both English and French, so we conversed until we reached our destination.
"French is still difficult for me, so I'll stick with English."
We chatted in English, as the driver had suggested. And then, we arrived at Tsukiji. He was a good driver. I was pleased.
I got out of the cab and gave the driver an extra tip, but he refused it.
Yuki, who was watching this, spoke,
"In Japan, we don't have a tipping culture, so don't worry about it."
Come to think of it, I remember my buddy Rick saying something like that.
"Come on! Let's eat some sushi!"
I begin to walk. It was amazing! There are many restaurants. All of them look like they serve delicious food. We enter one of them.
"Welcome!"
We are greeted by the shopkeeper's loud and cheerful voice.
"Now, Marc, this is Japanese sushi."
There were many people in the restaurant. It seemed crowded, but we were seated quite easily.
"Is there anything you don't like, Marc?"
"Sushi is popular in France, too. Don't worry, I can eat it."
Yuki ordered several things from the chef. The sushi was lined up, artfully arranged, in front of us.
"This is beautiful!" I couldn't help but exclaim.
The chef looked at me happily. The girls had already started eating.
"Marc. Let's eat."
Yuki told me to eat.

Delicious!! *
It's like nothing I've ever had in France! I ate quite a lot too. It's been years since I've been so satisfied with something other than blood.
I can see why Rick recommended it.
"You should go back to Japan. It's so good there! You wouldn't want to go back to France."
I can now understand what he meant when he said that. I'm sure it will continue to be amazing every day from now on.
"I'm full! I can't eat anymore!" The ladies express as they sip their tea.
"I'm full too. Marc, are you ready to go?"
"I'm also full. The sushi was wonderful!"
The chefs at the restaurant looked at us with delight.
I paid the bill. It was pretty expensive. But with this many people, I guess it couldn't be helped.
"Thank you for the meal!"
The girls tell me.
*Not a bad feeling. *
This might be a good time to stop living in a hotel and rent Rick's room. I really want a different place, knowing that he mentioned the room was a feeding ground.
I have a job lined up here as well. It's at the university hospital Rick referred me to. My doctor's license is legitimate. I studied hard and have a good track record. Medical science is advancing at an astonishing rate, so I am very excited about this new job."
